TBH if people started to realize that every place has its problems and started to notice them we wouldn't have overrated places

People just live in a fantasy world and don't realise that even great places(for example Japan or New York, been there, was both good, might wanna go there again) have obvious problems, especially if you actually live there

As someone who visited Paris, it was kinda overrated
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful looking city, but like with LA and NYC, there’s trash everywhere, the traffic is INTENSE, sometimes there’s 💩 on the sidewalk, it’s hot in the summer, and everything is small.
The things in Paris are cool though (the countless historical sites, the Louvre, The Eiffel Tower, etc…), but the actual city part is iffy imo.
Also the Mona Lisa was TINY! The painting behind it was better Lol!

I've been to Los Angeles several times as a trucker. It's VERY overrated. The skyline is beautiful to see from a distance, but it's like one glamorize ghetto.

as a french person I always tell to all people who visited paris that they haven't seen real france, paris is just a gigantic trap for tourists and trust me you could visit any city in france and it'll be much MUCH better than paris, it's cleaner, people are kinder even if most of them won't be able to speak english, there are no scammers and it's just safer overall

They didn’t ban tourism. They banned tourists in certain areas of Kyoto, specifically the Gion district, or the geisha district. Tourists would be disrespectful to the geishas, so the local government prohibited tourists from visiting some streets. They wouldn’t ban tourism, it helps keep their economy thriving, especially in Kyoto. They actually plan to do the opposite and grow tourism, as it will help their weak economy. And many people fantasize about different countries. If you talk to people from around the world (not europe) america is seen in a romanticized way. It’s common for humans to look towards foreign places as a form of escapism and fantasism (im not sure that’s an actual word but we’ll go with it) . Many people from Latin America I’ve spoken to actually fantasize about america and Times Square. Some Japanese do the same with america, just like how japan is seen in america. The recent growth of Japan being viewed as sort of utopia has been elevated in recent years by their accelerated growth in the anime industry. Covid helped the anime industry a lot, so more people had outlets to japanese culture. And because it is so vastly different from culture here in the west, people saw it as fantastical and only saw the good in it. Idk just my take on this and if u read this far i applaud u lol😛

I visit Los Angeles every 3 months, I can say, its not as bad as a smell, the crime is not gotham levels as the news and rap songs say, and there's not a tent on every street, except skid row and East LA. There's literally nothing but nice-looking neighborhoods, except skid row and East LA. There's only museums and Mexican/Asian heritage events that are the good tourist attractions in LA. There's more chance of getting a unusual golden frying pan by crates in TF2, then meeting a celebrity on the streets of downtown LA. The traffic is not that terrible except Downtown, My Grandpa lives in LA, he lives in a small apartment, and they're building a smaller apartment complex next to his apartment complex, he said that he has to pay $2000 rent while they have to pay $2500. A gallon of milk is $6 in LA. LA is a good place to visit for the Mexican/Asian Culture and Cuisine if you have the money and know where the dangerous parts of the City of Angels is. Although living in LA, from hearing from my Grandpa sounds depressing and exhausting.

you should make a video about underrated places. The most underrated vacation destination I have ever been is probably poland. I went a week to Krakov on a school trip a couple of months ago. The first 2 days or so, everything there seemed so sad and depressing, but even though the people there seem cold, depressed and sad all the time, there, people are just extremely nice. Besides that, Poland has probably the most interesting history out of any country I have been to, and the city of Krakov is just beautiful.

You should make, underrated places as well, and tbh I think middle East is underrated, no not all of Middle East at war, many of it is peaceful, and it's has many good place, historical ancient places and as places to visit, most of the time there is sunny as well, so beaches would be very nice, buuut you may need sun cream and and a hat, it's kind of hot, I believe Africa may also have many good places, I just don't know it, btw I say Middle East, I mean the Arabic world.

i would like to sincerely apologize for breaking rule 10 in the discord server I remember the first time i found out about you on tiktok and i realized we had similar opinions and i got hooked on your vids waiting for a new one I have been with you from the bottom since 100 K and below I remember the time you told us NFG (no fucks given) meant I find your videos really funny and entertaining and when I sent the inappropriate joke in the discord server I was not thinking I have truly reflected on my actions and I will never never do such things again I wasn’t thinking at the time and the joke was pretty immature and stupid
I’m not a Japan simp or anything, I understand the country has problems, but you saying the loli content leads to sa makes just as much logical sense as saying video games cause mass shootings.
Like legit, countries like Scotland, Northern Ireland and England which have an overall smaller populations than all of Japan have a higher rate of assault, so that clearly has nothing to do with that.
So by all intents and purposes, quit the cope.
