If anything, I think this question can be used to understand why most women are cautious around men from a different perspective. On average, most men are stronger and some can be more aggressive than women. Sure a woman can trust men in her life, such as her family and friends. I don't know how the "man or a bear" question came about but I just see this as a silly trend/hypothetical question. If anything, I think this question can be used to understand why most women are cautious around men from a different perspective. On average, most men are stronger and some can be more aggressive than women. Sure a woman can trust men in her life, such as her family and friends. However, I believe the question states any "random man"? Regardless, if a woman chooses a bear or a man (which is logically sane) it reflects their personal opinion and choice.
For nuance, I don't own a gun or any special means to protect myself so I may feel more threatened than someone who has protection. for all you nerds let me explain "I would rather be in the woods with a bear than a man" is like asking a guy "if they would rather be stopped by a female cop or see a bear in the woods"
I do not think this is a fair comparison as men are much stronger and more dangerous. But anyone who chooses the bear in either situation is wild.
