I don't think I have time to make a video rn but what I did was: 1) go to www.mrallsophistory.com/revision/ and download all the history podcasts related to igcse topics. And I would listen to it every day, whenever I have free time. 2) go to www.johndclare.net/ and using the online revision sheet for active recall of the content, for example, www.johndclare.net/versailles_treaty_revision.htm
What an amazingly comprehensive video!! It helped me tremendously :) However, could you please explain why you think the analysis for each phrase in the analysis question should be 1-2 sentences, as the world limit is 200-300 words? Thank you very much in advance, and your video is very helpful.
I think what I meant was just don't spend too much time on each phrase, because personally for me I could write a whole paragraph for a single quote. But yeah, if you think you can manage the time well, you can write more than that. I hope that answers your question 😊
@@meghana.2.11 got a 92 in my final IGCSE FLE. as for tips....... nothing in particular. if you master the technique of time management and good writing, it's very easy to get a good grade as the marking is very lenient in my opinion.
@@melissayunzhi Hi, if i use your descriptive extracts or if i take sentences from storybooks or even if I take them from websites word by word without changing, will it be considered as plagiarism? You're talking about the percentage uniform mark which is different from the actual mark of the paper. Percentage uniform mark depends on the position of the grade thresholds (which may vary from one session to another and from one subject to another). Think of the entirety of the candidates' grades as a ranking. But that doesn't necessarily mean you have to score 90% on the paper. For example in the latest series of A-level Biology, if you score more than 187 out of 260 you'll get an A*. Check the individual subject grade threshold and then compare. www.cambridgeinternational.org/programmes-and-qualifications/cambridge-upper-secondary/cambridge-igcse/grade-threshold-tables/ Btw, my percentage uniform mark for FLE is 92. But I admit, the grade threshold for that series was pretty low. Hope that helps 🤗

You don’t have to, but to create a well structured summary, you most likely should reorder the points and group them together
