Once I was reading a book in class and he said "I'm surprised she can even read," and everyone started laughing but my friends. I always ask the girls whether they have natural blonde hair or dyed in a casual way just to catch them off guard to reveal if it's real blonde or fake. So ya.
And I will usually look for signs such as if the root is a different color than blonde, or does it look natural, eyebrows, and perhaps the hair on the arms (blonde hair ladies do have blonde hair arm)

Now Scandinavia, Netherlands and Germany(specially the northern regions) are the only places that I have been to where blondes are the majority. In eastern europe (baltic states, lithuania, russia, czech, poland) there are a lot of blondes but they tend to be more ashy or dark blonde, instead of pure gold, light blond or platinium blonde.
Spain, Italy, portugal, greece, france, UK and Ireland are mostly brunettes... the only difference is that UK and France do have more fair haired people than the others but still they are a smaller portion of the population compared to the dark haired/brunette population. Australia, US , Canada and NZ being mostly descendants of British settlers they also are majority brunette... let alone america with so many jewish, hispanic and sicilian/greek roots..

It makes me said that a lot of the comments are bashing blondes. The notion that all blondes are crazy, dumb and stuck up is a terrible stereotype. I'm a natural blonde, and if I wasn't, I definitely wouldn't die my hair. If I was a brunette or a red head, I'd love my hair just the same. Yes, some blondes are stuck up - but so are some brunettes and red heads. All hair, eye, and skin colors are beautiful.

Finally those of us, who know the difference can let our voices be heard. I'm sure that nearly all guys are like me ... they would choose a natural blonde any day! Natural blonde women need to be aware that the "explosion" in blonde hair dye hasn't changed the reality that they are still at the top in terms of beauty, sexuality and I would say personality too. It must be the experience of growing up having the attributes which men desire (my natural blonde women friends tell me that even as young girls, men of all ages seem to take particular interest in them over other girls, and women of all ages, except for other natural blondes, seem to give them a hard time), the experience of dealing with jealous women, and the confidence in one's looks that make them really cool overall as adults. I would never choose any other woman over a natural blonde.

I, as a man, prefer natural brunettes, especially with brown eyes. Faux brunettes and natural blondes are fine with me, but I do not like faux blondes who were born with black hair (such as Shakira). If an attractive woman was born with dark hair, especially black hair, but dyes her hair blonde, she cheapens her look. Brunettes do it better than blondes. I don't know ANYONE who thinks dark hair on women is unattractive, so that point is stupid. I'm a natural blonde, both my best friends are brunettes, and you know you're point on 'brunettes do better in school'? Their average test score is 40%, mine is 80%. Out of all the girls in my class, me and one other blonde girl have the highest average grades among the girls, who are all practically brunettes. Upon average, guys prefer brunettes on regular occasions, saying they are more down to earth and blondes are just for fun. That whole stereotype about dumb blondes is what caused my depressed and naturally blonde close friend to cut off all her hair, because she gets bullied for being blonde. It's not fair how we get treated, on more than one occasion strangers on the street have commented negatively on my hair, one teenage boy a few years older than me leaning in and saying 'I hate blondes' out of the blue, and a group of brunette teenage girls passing by my brunette friend and I and calling me a 'blonde slut'. English speaking countries are mostly brunettes. However Australia has a bit higher proportion than the other English speaking countries. And Scandinavian countries, especially Sweden are not so blonde as many people think. Most blondes countries are Finland and Estonia I think. And UK / Ireland are different from the Southern European countries. More than the half of brunettes in the English speaking world (apart from the US) are blue-eyed Celtic brunettes and more linked to the more blond Central Germanics (Dutch / Germans) than to the Southerners. Most redheads live in these countries too. Both, redheads and blue-eyed brunettes can have unique angelic features like blondes.

I would say real blond people with blue eyes are really rare to find. You can find them maybe somewhere in north like Sweden. Most of the women who are blond are bleached. Even if they have light eyes, they were born with that "dirty blond/straw" colour, which they bleach to have this shiny blond effect. I think the most of the population has not dark hair color but this neutral kinds of colors like- mousy/nut/straw and they all color it to have dark or blond effect..That is what I think..
My best friend has platinum blonde hair and bright blue eyes, and she is one of the kindest people I've ever met. Meanwhile, I know a brunette who has gorgeous blue eyes, and a super adorable personalty. But... she's super sarcastic. Hair color differs. You're all beautiful, whether you believe it or not. Yours personalty IS going to be what gets someone to like you. If you're beautiful and mean, no one will like you. If you're less beautiful but SUPER nice and sweet, lots of people will like you.

I'm the only blonde fair skinned person in my family, however my paternal Grandmother had light red hair and fair skin. Also, I've been happily married for 18 years and have 4 children. My boyfriend is blonde and I'm blonde too but I actually fell more for his eyes than hair. He's got those lovely sky blue eyes while mine are a dark green. So blonde or brunette. WHO CARES ?

I always liked blonde girls better. To me they are more attractive and cute. Also from my experience, the blonde girls I have met have been smarter and nicer than the brunette girls. Don't get me wrong I like brunettes, they're pretty too.

I think blonde and brunette hair colors are very diverse in shades and are equally beautiful! Brunette is more common. That's the catch 22 when it comes to dark hair. But that just means that we have to do something a little more to stand out, and surely there is nothing boring about that.

I hate how many people dye their hair, especially blond, and end up with unhealthy hair. Iḿ bleaching my hair out using the sun, and Iḿ really enjoying it. I ahve dark brown hair naturally...all my siblings do, and both my parents. But as I air dry my hair in the sun each and every day every summer, itś gets a little bit lighter each time. And I can see the difference too when I grow my beard in, so I know for a fact its working.
I have brown hair now, but used to dye my hair. I really, really miss all the attention I got, I really had so much more fun being a blonde. However now I actually get taken seriously, guys don't just pretend to listen to what I say, they actually do. I can never decide on what I prefer the most - having more fun or being taken more seriously. I think of dyeing my hair sooo often, gah what should I do haha

I for one am a blonde naturally, so not all blondes are fake!!!! Also, there can be different variations to blondes as well. There are blondes that are naturally lighter blonde, like Lady Guinevere or Malfoy from the Harry Potter series, to the point to where it is almost white. Very beautiful. Then you have blondes who are darker blonde, like myself, to where it is more of a flaxen or "dark yellow" color. And then there are several different shades in between.
Also, blonde hair and red hair are recessive traits, to where there is a lesser chance of them occurring. Alongside that, there are also some very beautiful redheads and raven haired people in the world as well!!!

I'm a brunette and I think brunettes are very beautiful but like a more kind of beautiful that gets stronger once you get to know her. But blondes are just a natural show stopper that always catches your attention immediately. They are more a classic sense of beauty while brunettes are connected to a more mysterious beauty. Not saying any of that is true just what I think based on societies interactions to each.

I'm a brunette and I have physical preference, I would choose a guy with dirty blonde to brown hair because that's what I'm attracted to physically, but I can't judge someone's personality because of a hair color.

Never really understood the hair color debate. You can always color your hear or skin but never your personality or character. And it's funny because most blonde girls color their hair! Okay, saying blondes are only good for going out and "being crazy" is such a fucking stereotype. I've had blonde hair my whole life, and when it started to go dark the only reason I dyed it was because I PREFERRED my lighter hair due to a fair skin tone. I've been told many times that I have a very down to earth personality, and that they wouldn't expect it because of the color of my hair. So to all the Pro-Blondes: GO YOU!! and to all the Pro-Brunettes: You like what you like, but don't turn down a girl/guy due to their hair color. We all deserve a chance; we're all just humans with an undying desire to be loved and to love others. And if that's not you, then love yourself!
