Emily absolutely WAS underrated. She was stunning in every regard, from her throwback 40's glam style to her gorgeous, sultry voice. I don't know what wrong with the people who didn't vote for her on AGT.
She's hands down the greatest talent that show ever produced.
How Emily is not a headliner in Vegas is beyond me. Her voice and beauty are second to no one.
And that Lady’s and Gentlemen is a top singer, a beautiful package of talent.
There is no such thing as perfect. Well until Emily West arrived with her magical voice

Regardless of subjective talent show titles, that's a voice I'd pay to hear... beautiful.
I'd pay to hear Emily and watch her onstage. Every one of her performances was glorious! A natural performer with a velvety rich, crystalline, and dynamic voice, and so in command of her vocal styling. She owned every one of the songs she performed. I hope she's been performing and recording all these years since AGT, with an enormous and loyal following. Complete and utter WOW!!

No one came near her on AGT, something goes on behind the scenes. Same with Marcelito. Pomoy. Both stole the show and lost.

She was the only time I believed a singer deserved to win this show.
I completely agree. I've seen the argument made that singers shouldn't be allowed on AGT. I wouldn't go that far, but I do believe some of them get an unfair advantage, especially since Simon Cowell became a judge. Emily, though, she had it all: incredible vocal range, stage presence, and she captivated you with every word. I straight-up cried when she did Chandelier, something I NEVER do for this show. Not to mention, many comment that some singers who make it far on AGT only do it off their personal stories, especially the tragic ones. Emily didn't seem to have that, and just relied on how good of a vocalist she was to make it far. I remember this was the season Mat Franco won (she was runner-up), and really either of them could've taken it that year.

And her selection of songs was incredible. Each one showcased her capacity and capability sometimes better than the original artist. I don't think I've ever said that about any performer Singing someone else's song but she truly has an awe-inspiring and God-given talent.
This woman is so very underrated and good looking too! She really dose have star power!

Thanks so much for this! When I saw her first audition, I was spellbound by that crystal clear, astonishingly CLEAR voice! I knew for sure I'd be hearing her music on all the radio stations, and I was certain that I'd see her on every talk show! I was mystified as to why she had disappeared! There are many vocalists now topping the charts who don't HALF her talent. She is a star at every level. Every performance perfect! So glad to know that she has a record deal, but disappointed by her lack of exposure.
There is only one answer she wanted her talent alone to speak for itself. And rightfully so. But fame comes with a signing in blood and selling of the soul. Talent and fame are two very different things my dear. Glad she did not make the deal.

As a visual artist who loves music, I want to hear her and paint her. Gazing on her face is almost as gratifying as listening to her sing. She is like a flower unfolding to celestial chords of joy!!
Beautiful!!!! The singer that one does not get bored of because no matter what they sing it sounds the same. This lady changes, transforms,and sounds different and awesome in all. Not to mentioned looks absolutely fabulous!

How in the world did I miss this woman's voice? Sometimes I would miss the talent shows but I would always watch the top 10 of this and the top 10 of that... I love Howard Stern I've watched him since day one I've even recorded every one of his shows since 1981 in DC... But how did I miss this woman. I can't wait to catch up on what she's doing now... It's kind of like Christmas.

She is so good! Years ago she was up against Luke Bryan on some talent show and Luke won. Her voice is outstanding and much better than Luke. She just hasn’t got the chance she deserves!

But she got the exposure and a record deal which will be better for her as she's a song-writer herself. It's the first time I saw her and she's amazing!
