- Claudia Harrison is a surfer, a skater, and a self-confessed tomboy. She grew up on a farm, riding dirt bikes and horses, climbing trees, and playing footy. Her opera singing grandfather taught her how to sing opera, giving Claudia a unique talent. Claudia is excited to leave her hometown in rural Perth for The Voice Stage. It's 2024 and Claudia Harrison's audition is still my favorite singing competition audition of all time!! I wish she was recording! The world needs to hear this beautiful voice on the radio every day!! ❤️
I've lost count of how many times I've come back to watch Claudia's performance, so pure, son innocent, and those eyes,
the whole family's eyes. Mom is Beautiful, Claudia is Beautiful, Sisters are beautiful, and Dad, just plain handsome.

@@youisabum Her teeth aren't rotten,one is a tad crooked, it's not a dentist she should see but an orthodontist. Then again why should she, the crooked tooth doesn't impair her talent in any way. She's talented and beautiful even with that small perfect imperfection.

But what I understand is that her grandpa sang opera and gave her loads of singing lessons, so I'm not sure what she means with never had singing lessons? Maybe payed singing lessons?

That was NOT a song; it was a work of art. She sang it exactly the way the artist would have envisioned it. My eyes were filled with water.
It's 2 years later in 2022 and listening to Claudia Harrison is still my guilty pleasure. What a beautiful Woman and a beautiful voice. 🤩🤩🤩

You can tell by the way she moves her body and arms she genuinely "feels" that song. Emotion is 90% of what makes a singer and what makes a STAR!

Oh gosh, I love this girl. She has that laugh of "I don't take myself seriously", gorgeous to look at, and sings like an angel. I like both songs, but the 2nd song makes me cry. Wow, just wow!
Only a few times have I seen coaches all really want a performer and joust as if they were looking to be hired. This young lady has such an amazing energy, she knows her comfort zone, but is willing to take a giant step outside of it to see where it takes her. She seems to view life as a journey, and want to live it to the fullest, not something to conquer. This girl is special, at 18 years old, with such an astonishing vocal palette. Win, lose or draw on this show, it doesn’t matter she became a star in that one blind audition. I’ll be looking for your first album.

All I can say when I watched her in the blinds was wow, this is an Australian beauty, natural, talented, happy, comfortable in who she is and is part of a stunning family. I do hope she achieves her dreams.

Her voice transcends you to a different place. Many people have great singing voices, but they can't take you to a different place when they sing. She does that. She draws you in and makes you forget everything except what she's singing. Simply amazing.

Well, it's always been there for those who love it, appreciate it. Tbh her performance was not flawless. It's just these entertainment circles that are just taken away by anything from opera without true regard.
It's 5:30 am, Sunday, listening to this young lady sing. Yes, got tired of listening to the rap, hard rock....etc. Listen to Amira Willighagen, she is fantastic! Her singing opera, at such a young age. CHECK her out!

I would suggest you check out a group called Nightwish. They are a Finnish Symphonic Metal group that has a female lead singer named Floor Jansen. There are some classical singing moments in most of their songs.

We’ve heard many opera singers, but few have the harmony and beauty that this girl has. You could listen to her all day long. And probably the only contestants where the judges want to hear more.

Her opera was very good her normal singing was outstanding
She has control of her voice without ever having had any training.... that is a gift for sure!
But she didn't have full control of her voice, she swooped and dropped and did bad things because she hasn't got control. Opera singers train for years, like an athlete. Because your body and those two little muscles in your throat, are the instrument. Without training you make ugly sounds and lack breath control. All the notes you make have to placed mentally. You have to hear them before they come out of your throat. Not an easy feat. Takes years of practise.

@@margaretsandeman1766 Well, I can't sing a note myself but I thought Claudia was just brilliant. I've always loved this Italian aria as it's probably the most beautiful song ever written. Claudia sang it beautifully and anyone finding fault with her singing is either deaf or jealous. I'm jealous as I would love to be able to sing but I can't. People tell me to shut up if I break into song but I'd listen to Claudia singing this song forever and a day. She sang it beautifully ! She is a breath of fresh air and having stuffy people making derogatory remarks about her is bad form. Just saying ! Now I'm going to listen again to Claudia brightening up my day !

I came across this performance a few weeks ago on RUclips, and i've played it multiple times nearly every day since. I've listened to Sinatra, Josh Groban, Jennifer Hudson, and a few others since. In my humble opinion, none of them come close to this 11 year old girls performance. This, to me, is how this song should be performed. Absolutely remarkable.

What a brilliant, unblemished and natural Artist right from the deep blue, where the sun always shines. Quite honestly, she lights up that sun in one’s Heart which one has néver known, and turns it into a sparkling diamond, a howling ivory moon in the dark of night, a shooting star into the deepest, darkest unkowns - absolutely mindblowing and breathtaking. Claudia does not need anything but herself on a black stage and a spotlight. She is one of those very rare singers that has the audience transfixed with just her voice. These judges have got to put their "STAMP" on them and it just turns the singer into just another competitor. Some singers are perfect with just a stage and a mic and Claudia is one of those.
