Pokémon use this Infinity Energy to use moves like Hydro Pump, Flamethrower, etc.. However, there is a limit to the Pokémon's Infinity Energy absorption, which is why they have Power Points. When they run out of Power Points, they have to wait to recharge their Infinity Energy, and they cannot recharge in mid battle because it simply takes too much time to do so.
It’s an interesting theory but it doesn’t really hold up. Why would elixirs work if that were the case? What about Z moves which seemingly have no limit to their number of uses outside of 1 per battle? Why does Arceus himself have pp for his moves? What about HMs which can be used regardless of pp?

Elixirs are just Bottles O' Arceus' Infinity. And Z-Moves require a crystal that can charge faster than plain old Pokémon Cells (even if some Pokémon have no cells like Ghastly).

... *"MAAAAGIC"* ... no seriously what I'd chock it up too lol, the magical world of Pokemon, water types have a seemingly unlimited supply of water to produce unless under certain circumstances. if it's hot out obviously they produce less, if it's raining something in their core is charged up by the natural phenomenon. This is why Kyogre is such a threat, causing infinite rain unless Groudon stops it, and vice versa with Groudon causing heat for ground, fire, and rock types, simply by being titans of their given element they create environments suitable for them and those sharing their typings, while others suffer. It's just a natural thing, animals being animals basically, but with the God/titan powers bestowed on them. Even then, those of those types may also struggle because it's too much energy being handed out.
Also why Lugia sleeps at the bottom of the ocean, its power to great, flapping its wings causing a 40 day storm, in fact... as much as I love Lugia it most likely was the one responsible for the burned tower. Probably by accident mind you, but that's why Lugia now rests at the bottom of the ocean where its psychic and weather powers can't harm anyone. Because 3 nameless Pokemon perished in the fire, and while Ho-Oh brought them back to life as Suicune, Entei, and Raikou, Lugia knew it couldn't live there anymore, not just because its tower burned down, but possibly because it caused it on accident.
Meanwhile this also makes certain Pokemon REAAAALLLLLY dumb lol, like magicarp or Goldeen that can create their own water... yet flop around and can only splash (well I say Goldeen but that's only because that's its only purpose in Smash Bros, outside of Smash it probably thrives better than Magicarp).
Pikachu balloon's head might survive throughout 2024, but not the body.

WHY HAVEN’T THEY DONE THAT (3:01) that sounds awesome like it’s ar but you look after Pokémon like you have every Pokémon at your disposal and then you can look after them and stuff like that and the app could be called “Pokémon pet” like that genuinely sounds awesome I’d love to play that and you can have different outfits they can wear cute or “spicy” and it makes the Pokémon sound but there’s a text box so you can actually understand what the Pokémon is saying
