If I remember correctly that russians legs weren't moving at all, just straight out behind himself, his toes dragging on the ice as they removed him! He was outcold unable to move.They had to take him up off the ice because he wasn't coming to.

Loui finshed the game gordie didn't Gordie spent two days in the hospital ... it it was a 10 pt must system ... the REf and two judges woud have awarded the fight to Fontinanto .... nothing against Gordie , but at best Howe got a draw ... look into it a little bit
I’m not sure about that I have THE book from Gordie him self signed by MR HOCKEY and there’s many players from both benches that said when Gordie was hitting Lou in the face it sounded like and ax hitting a tree or someone chopping wood. They said they both where throwing punches but Gordie knocking him to his knees with 3 blast to the nose. They said his nose was on the side of his face when he left the Ice. And like I said both teams are in this book with there out take of being there.
