Full TRAPPING team destroys a Full ARCEUS Team! (also trolls showdown and I rage)

- Well, as much as I detest Showdown during Generation 8, I must admit the last battle was pretty satisfying. Today we used a fully Trapping team in NatDex AG, with a bunch of forfeits (both me and my opponents) and a JUICY battle at the end versus 6 Arceuses.

1.Use Pokemon to pass wonder guard to a pure fire type
2.Use burn up to get rid of the fire type
3.Destroy everything and hope a Pokemon with Mold Breaker doesn’t show up
And hope that the opponent doesn't have a lunala or a solgaleo on his side

That's why I play random (specifically Gen 1)
I'm bad a making teams and coming up with strategies, so I just use random teams and it works out
The trapping worked too well. I'm now trapped here, destined forever to watch this video.

When Parting Shot gets bounced it also forces the one with Magic Bounce to switch, and since Hatterene is really slow, you could get rid of it with a Parting Shot.
It's a cool way to explain how magic bounce works. It doesn't necessarily reflects the move, but rather takes the move and uses it itself. Literally a NO U ability. That's why when you are hit with Hypnosis, through Magic Bounce can still miss, and why the ability user that switchs out with Parting Shot

You should try doinga couple sets of different monotype teams in Nat dex ag. Its not so restrictive or difficult to pull offon your end but still fun to see what you make for us and the clickbait is still 100% doable lol

@@ethanw3961 I guess it would be bs against bs, like, some really weird movesets and they'd end up playing some strategies. After all, they are quite good at pokemon and their strategies take a lot of thought put into it (also, they both have terrible luck with RNG, so I feel it would be quite balanced)

i didnt play 8th edition but how can arceus be fighing (needing plate) and do z move(needing z crystal)?
Z-Crystals work as plates for Arceus but also allow for Z-Moves.

Note: when they made ghost types immune to shadow tag they also made them immune to all forms of trapping moves and abilities, which is why whirlpool doesn’t work on ghost types.

hey garbodor here's a trap team idea: the pokemon have their abilitys for the trapping and their moves are only memento for the pokemon to sweep have a shadow tag gothitelle or chandelure. for chandelure set up at least a lot of calm minds you decide on the moves and for gothitelle have stored power and a few boosting moves for it and HP fighting or HP fairy for the darks
