So interesting thing: Plasm Wraith is heavily believed to be the reasoning behind not just Drake's crash, but it was the reasoning behind the S.S. Dolphin's crash, and later Hocotate ship's crash. Its Japanese name: Amenyuudou, pulls from amoeba, lifeforms found in water (possible relation to the Waterwraith), Nyudo, which means priest or monk (possibly the attitude it gave to Olimar), and the name is an allusion to Wanyūdō, which was a Guardian of the gates of hell in Japanese folklore. Wraith's JP word: umibozu, was a mythical creature that sunk ships and captures captains of those ships (sound familiar?) Another speculation is that Plasm Wraith is not just all-powerful, but it's probably PNF-404 _incarnate_ . Multiple of them exist around the planet, and bits of Plasm Wraith's DNA is in every organism you see on the planet.... even the Pikmin.
I believe that Fawful’s Minion (I think it was him) best described the Plasm Wraith with one phrase he used was “Gravity modding”. Another interesting thing I just found is the name PNF-404, it would be: Planet Not Found with the classic error code 404.

I’m still in the process of finishing this game, and I knew that Pikmin 4 was in high demand, but I didn’t realize that the ending to this was like a perfect setup to the next game. They just left it in a cliffhanger with finding the cause of the crash and whatever new thing crashed on the planet and that would just be a terrible way to end the series.
Its been confirmed for yeaaaars. The issue is Nintendo doesnt care about the series like that. They already develop games extremely slow when it comes to their own exclusivities. But pikmin they've confirmed isn't something they really focus on just work on from time to time.

They were wondering why wasn't the American and European audiences buying them... They figured it wasn't their fault and they needed to switch the game's genre! You start with 7 bottles. You lose 4 in the crash, so you only get to use 3 of them, but you're coming back with 11 times the starting amount, in addition to the seeds. That's skill, right there, to pull off a 1000% increase.

finally ... after a lot of practice I got over Pikmin 3 without deaths & in 20 days thanks for uploading this guide, without it I could not have passed the game without deaths

A little thing I noticed: The rain. While it doesn't do anything now, possibly a new idea for the future games is having a difficulty setting, possibly a harder mode where rain does damage, limited onion space, etc. It's all just randomly come into my head but still would be a cool idea
When I fight the plasm wraith now, I use the the rock Pikmin to attack the elemental cores before they start spewing out their element. It definitely speeds up the fight, but comes with some risk, along with the inability to affect the water element as it uses it immediately. I've used this tactic a few times, and it's reliable but only if you're fast. I'd recommend it for you, but you don't need to use it. Edit: I've done this tactic without losing any Pikmin, considering how fast you can call back Pikmin when they start panicking.
When I played, I got it to about 10% health before I had to end the day, and after I finished it once, I wanted to kill all my pikmin (the logical next thing to want) so I dismissed all of my pikmin In the arena, and I didn't know they fought if idle, so the pikmin, with no guidance defeated it faster and with less deaths than I did the first time (60ish vs 15 and les than a minute vs 5ish) -_-
Hey Hawlo I don’t know if you will see this but I always wanted to play through all of the Pikmin games and 100% them all. So in July I decided to finally do it. I finished 1 and 2 in July and 3 today. I just wanted to thank you for making the 100% walkthroughs as they were very helpful to me and the little bits of text you add throughout the videos are very informative and easy to understand. I’m going to start Hey Pikmin tomorrow and watch your 100% walkthrough alongside it. My personal favourite game was Pikmin 2 because I liked how the time limit was removed, I loved the cave system and even though Olimar is my favourite character, Louie is a legend.

I just finally got a switch and got pikmin 3 last week and finished today on day 22. I’m so happy to see them thank the pikmin for all the empeoréis and I’m so happy to see the pikmin already have someone new to help :) My bet is that it’s olimar’s kids or wife because he’s been gone so long, they sent a search team! I’ve been playing these games since the GameCube as a child and I’m not 24 and so happy to see my favorite series continue

The Wii U had a lot of great games people missed out on. I know this system failed due to people mistaking it for a Wii accessory and saying it isn't very good. If you hate this system, at least you can say it's better than the Virtual Boy!
I completed mine in 60 days that's two months however it wasn't 100% it took me a long while to reinforce my forces I needed at least 20 for each of them it took all the forces I had to at least beat that gold blob thing and I defeated it in day 60 It wasn't easy for me Ps you made it look easier
I did too. I even uploaded a video of using all types on the field at once with no deaths. Many people make it sound like its hard, but its really just skill.
I've been wondering, is that ray that retrieves the food in the Drake a sort of shrinking beam? If so, they could probably get even more juice if they blended the fruits outside, like the Crimson Banquet.
I think it’s some sort of shrinking beam like you said but it still keeps the proportions of the object somewhere else so they would probably get the same amount of juice if they blended it outside than inside
He is, if he stays as transparent goo. But if he's a solid gold color, then he can be destroyed. If Olimar is caught inside of the tree, he will turn gold and you can destroy it to free him.

I see the Plasm Wraith being one of two things. One: It's a Changeling, one of the hundred that the Founders sent out into space in this reality. Only due to its environment being trapped here it's mind has gone into an animalistic state. And it does happen to be a gold color like them. Or Two (and the not joke theory): It and the Water Wraith and the Goolix are some kind of remnant of human cells that have managed to merge together into a single entity. So in any case the Wraith is drawn to Olimar deep down after its repeated encounters with him cuz its trying to regain some part of its humanity back so to speak that's buried deep within itself. And Olimar is the perfect human lookalike for it. And unfortunately for him and the rest of these guys it just happens to be desperately clingy and a powerful shape shifter. Enough to take forms of intangible things like fire and electricity (like a Founder can). Wouldn't put it past Nintendo to have it be something like this. They've done similar stuff like this in Splatoon. The Octoling expansion comes to mind in particular here. But I digress. Besides all that this thing has some cool final boss music. And it's scary know that it's not actually dead. Just what form is the next plasm creature gonna take?
The plasm wriath is strong...then u introduce it to sum tiny walking rock plants (also rock pickmin are my fav THERE SOOO CUTE) then u see the out come..ur like...giant monster reked by rocks...were can I bye these?! P.S if scientist learn how to creat pikmin I want ROCKS
I hated this boss because I thought that I had to escape the dungeon AND kill it in a single day. I finally did it after a few hours, and then I learned that it stays by your ship once you get it out of the cave… Phenomenal boss though
If I was playing this game I would get all the pleat flowers I can find and in case the final boss kills all my first wave of Pikmin then I would go back to the onion and get out the next wave
I didn't understand a few times why people used Rock Pikmin instead of the others. After a While, I remembered that sometimes, they are immune to being eaten... No wonder why they're being used during the final boss. Atleast the only problem is that your being attacked by the fire, water, and electricity element which rock is not immune to... I also forgot The Crystals... Ugh sorry I dont pay attention to videos alot.
Rock pikmin aren't immune to being eaten. They're immune to being crushed or stabbed. The wraith skewers pikmin and eats them but it cant do that if it cant stab them
Oh I didn't know that. I watched one of ZackScott's Videos when he was fighting the Plasm Wraith and Didn't realize they were being pierced through. I think Rock pikmin are still immune to being eaten... well, I watched one of DAZZ's videos and there was a small video of where a Rock pikmin was battling a dwarf bulborb in the background while the Vehemoth Phosbat was only eating the Yellow pikmin and the rock hasn't gotten eaten yet while battling the dwarf bulborb. Either its because the rock pikmin were tackling it or its because... the size of rocks? I think rock pikmin can only be eaten by bigger enemies that are bigger than the rock pikmin... *What would a Rock pikmin taste like though?*

The Wii U had a lot of great games people missed out on. I know this system failed due to people mistaking it for a Wii accessory and saying it isn't very good. If you hate this system, at least you can say it's better than the Virtual Boy!

I've been wondering, is that ray that retrieves the food in the Drake a sort of shrinking beam? If so, they could probably get even more juice if they blended the fruits outside, like the Crimson Banquet.
I think it’s some sort of shrinking beam like you said but it still keeps the proportions of the object somewhere else so they would probably get the same amount of juice if they blended it outside than inside

He is, if he stays as transparent goo. But if he's a solid gold color, then he can be destroyed. If Olimar is caught inside of the tree, he will turn gold and you can destroy it to free him.

I see the Plasm Wraith being one of two things. One: It's a Changeling, one of the hundred that the Founders sent out into space in this reality. Only due to its environment being trapped here it's mind has gone into an animalistic state. And it does happen to be a gold color like them.
Or Two (and the not joke theory): It and the Water Wraith and the Goolix are some kind of remnant of human cells that have managed to merge together into a single entity.
So in any case the Wraith is drawn to Olimar deep down after its repeated encounters with him cuz its trying to regain some part of its humanity back so to speak that's buried deep within itself. And Olimar is the perfect human lookalike for it. And unfortunately for him and the rest of these guys it just happens to be desperately clingy and a powerful shape shifter. Enough to take forms of intangible things like fire and electricity (like a Founder can). Wouldn't put it past Nintendo to have it be something like this. They've done similar stuff like this in Splatoon. The Octoling expansion comes to mind in particular here.
But I digress. Besides all that this thing has some cool final boss music. And it's scary know that it's not actually dead. Just what form is the next plasm creature gonna take?

I hated this boss because I thought that I had to escape the dungeon AND kill it in a single day. I finally did it after a few hours, and then I learned that it stays by your ship once you get it out of the cave… Phenomenal boss though

I didn't understand a few times why people used Rock Pikmin instead of the others. After a While, I remembered that sometimes, they are immune to being eaten... No wonder why they're being used during the final boss. Atleast the only problem is that your being attacked by the fire, water, and electricity element which rock is not immune to... I also forgot The Crystals... Ugh sorry I dont pay attention to videos alot.
Rock pikmin aren't immune to being eaten. They're immune to being crushed or stabbed.
The wraith skewers pikmin and eats them but it cant do that if it cant stab them
Oh I didn't know that. I watched one of ZackScott's Videos when he was fighting the Plasm Wraith and Didn't realize they were being pierced through. I think Rock pikmin are still immune to being eaten... well, I watched one of DAZZ's videos and there was a small video of where a Rock pikmin was battling a dwarf bulborb in the background while the Vehemoth Phosbat was only eating the Yellow pikmin and the rock hasn't gotten eaten yet while battling the dwarf bulborb. Either its because the rock pikmin were tackling it or its because... the size of rocks? I think rock pikmin can only be eaten by bigger enemies that are bigger than the rock pikmin... *What would a Rock pikmin taste like though?*
