Hi Kimberly ! Just found you, I love todays look, very youthful!
I am soon to be 56 and like you doing complicated eye looks these days are pretty much a no go. The hoods ruin everything haha. I've been doing one and done shadows too. I found a cpl awesome ones from another youtuber, drugstore. I'm not into anything dark on lids either so your look today is right up my alley. Unless its date night and mamma wants drama on outer corners :O
I also do not do mascara on lower lashes, I think it's more youthful when left off. The saying less is more really is true for mature gals :)

I occasionally use multiple eyeshadows, but the best for me is the one and done eyeshadows. You are so right about the hooded eyes. I always have a difficult time trying to use multiple shadows because my eyelids are extremely hooded and being older with the excess loose crepe skin doesn't help either.
