In this simple cast iron skillet pizza recipe, we will see how to make a pizza in a pan in three simple steps!
In this easy pan pizza recipe we are going to make pizza in a pan in three simple steps.
1.Prepare the pizza dough
2.Proof the shaped pan pizza dough
Let the pizza dough sit and rise for 40 minutes in a warm environment.
3.Bake the pan pizza
Heat the pan on a low heat for the first 3-4 minutes or slightly more according to the thickness of our pizza dough.
Then increase the temperature to medium to high heat for the next 1 minute that the bottom of our pan become hot and the bottom of our pizza starts to turn golden brown in colour.
So now take the pan into the 480F or 250 C preheated oven and place it on the upper rack of the oven.
Bake the cast iron skillet pizza for 7-8 minutes.
After baking you will get nice ,tasty… cheesy pan style pizza.
Transfer the pan pizza onto a cooling rack immediately after baking .So that the bottom will not trap steam and get soggy.
And thus our skillet pizza will have wonderful crunch on the bottom.
