Hell I was in 8th grade when Juice came out in 92 and I first heard "Kill a Man." Immediately bought their first album on cassette. My suburban Catholic school ass would ride around the neighborhood on my bike listening to Cypress Hill and thinking I was a bad ass.

Hahaha I didnt go to Catholic school but I damn sure drove around town bumpin Cypress Hill, 3-6 Mafia, NWA, Nirvana and some Led Zeppelin! Didnt think I was hard but I thought my jams were lol. Even now that I'm in my late 30s, that music still holds up and still gets my hype! hahaha ain't nostalgia just the best!?!?!
Ah memories. Similar except for catholic school. I was public.. but bumped it at camp, school parking lots etc. .. nonstop
I remember being a a shorty in 1st grade taking my dads cd player listening to yo quiero fumar Mota (Spanish version of “I want to get high”) before school and recess. then my teacher asked what I was listening to and got upset with me not mad but upset hahaha…

Back in the 90s u couldn’t smoke weed without playing cypress hill while you smoked.
That orange CD was the soundtrack to my teenage years Love Cypress Hill and had the biggest crush on B-Real!!
I grew up with Cypress Hill and there were honestly always my favorite, and now seeing B Real talking about all this things is just so amazing to me.
B Real is such a humble guy! I would have enjoyed listen to it couple hours more for sure.

Still remember s show in Cleveland where Cypress Hill was supposed to go on next so EVERYONE busted out their green. HOWEVER they were not ready or something so Fuel went on instead. Lol alot of people learned to appreciate Fuels live performance we were all zoned in into them.
Then Cypress came on an B-real proceeded to hit a 4 ft bong.

Hey steve-O I've been sober for 9 months now. Use to be a trashcan for hard drugs and alcoho and am currently homeless trying to fight to get everything back especially love and respect from the people I care about. I know you'll probably never see this but thought I'd at least try.. I'm on step 2 and I have no option but to do the steps. I know if i go back to my old ways I won't be able to make it out alive again. I'm struggling with step 2 my sponsor has me reading the big book. Reading we Agnostic i just felt like their was so much wrong with it. I just wanted to ask what does step 2 and 3 mean to you? I feel like I have it but then hear God all the time and it bothers me because not every religion has a God and I wouldn't call the power that is greater then myself God. I think it's just the vocab that bothers me. I know I'm going to keep running into this God thing and I don't want it to affect my recovery. I believe I'm not the only one that is pushed away from the steps because of this but like I said from what it say and from what I know about myself I have no other options. Love you dude.
When you hear "god" think "universe", you know it's real, you know it's a greater power than yourself, not everyone needs religion. Best of luck brother

Ye I struggle with religion in a way too, there are people that don't use it as a means of oppression and talking down on others but for the most part, the version I was given and what it is truthfully historically most used for is oppression and control by some of the most un-christ-like individuals imaginable. At the end of the day its what you do in this plane of existence that matters the most, obviously you and your well-being comes first but then after that its how you treat others, the type of energy you put out. That's just how I see it.

I have one of those old school vape set up. It's the one we're you stick the Wagner hot air gun in this big ass wide bowl. The bowl I have, was purchased from B-Real.. I don't use it really anymore because I never have like 5 or more people smoking with me. It took a good gram or 2 to use it properly.. It was best not to stop once you've got it going good. We didn't have much time to stop and cough. Turning the hot air gun off and back on we found we wasted a lot of good Indica. That's why it was important to have a few people chiefing with you. but it was my first form of any type of vape ever.. at the moment it is sitting in a drawer about 2 feet away from me as we speak... Shout out B-Real!🤙🔥🔥
