These interviews are so much more funny when it’s Nick and Adam. They’re just like tag teaming him with saying dumb shit rapid fire and he’s just trying not to acknowledge it.
This interview specifically, yes, because steveo is so boring. But most of adams other interviews would have been much worse if nick were interviewing too. It would be overkill and ruin the dynamic. The interviews work because adam is able to appear sincere and naive and then will ask something funny that contrasts with his initial demanor, but if it's nick he's already got his cynical ironic get up from the start and it doesn't work.
Yeah he really is on any podcast or show I've seen him on. Love the guy and happy he's doing well but he's there to do a surface level interview where he talks about himself. Never really engages in conversation.
He's used to be being the show and people being in awe of the things he does in general. Nick essentially is killing the buzz (as reused as Steve-o's masturbation skydiving bit is) of all of Steve-o's go to podcast stories.
At one point Adam has gotten his fill. "Sorry we interrupted you there" he says casually as he knocks on Steve os shoe playfully. 🤣😂Trying to give him a chance to continue, but the point was already long forgotten and to have to ask what he was talking about would be too embarrassing for Sober Steve. So he says "it's all good" when it clearly is not. Lol. It's like a microcosm of what he has become hucking fake vapes and canned water. "It's all good!" (when it's not).
