If beryl should move past the southern side of Jamaica it will dump a lot of rain on us. Most of the convection is on the northern side. It's a healthy looking storm and can only get stronger. I keep my fingers cross that it will take a more northerly track and get torn up over Haiti
Can't lie I was shocked when I saw that 105 mph peak in the caribbean, remember it's only late June-early July , I remain skeptical for that peak but hurricane impacting the windwards is definitely on the table! I cannot lie if this forecast verifies then I will fear what's to come lower down in the season and closer to the peak! 😮 The upper level setup for TD2 is definitely not June like however there's some easterly shear there that's why the heavy convection is to the west of the center, however if that easterly shear let's off tomorrow then it could be off to the races!! 😮 on the other hand if it flops we could also put that down to June climatology 😂

You’re most welcome, I’m not expecting a huge difference in the track as it approaches the Lesser Antilles due to the dominant high pressure area steering it westward. However, if it’s large enough, it may bring you some rainfall as it passes early next week
