i've been on hiatus from planting for the past 10 months. and now i've made a comeback. You're my top 1 youtuner when it comes to succulent information. i've learned a lot of things from you Ms. Liz 😭😍 i am now recovering from my anxiety attacks and depression and you are one of the instruments that helped me gain back my sanity. I am now alive and kicking and planting again because of you 😭😍💯💯💯💯
Hi Liz, we love your videos. Was just watching and spotted the Sinnocrassula Indicas that you got from us and just wanted to clarify that they were all propagated from the same plant. The reason the ones in the blue pots are greener is that they were repotted and given fresh soil with some blood and bone so took off. Where as the ones in the plug trays are in the original soil and had used up all the fertiliser and nutrients so are more stressed. If you want to keep them looking more red, don’t repot them 😂😂
I just love your videos!! You are a trip! (A good trip, of course) 😉 Your succulents are stunning! And I’m actually learning from you, so keep video’s coming please ma’am!! 😊
I love your channel and I love all your succulents. They are gorgeous. Sorry you have those now living did you get those snacks and also your coffee dishes what is in your coffee? What kind of coffee I want that coffee
Hi liz, what a great video yet again. My home is full of succulents & grow lights. I’m wondering if you know why they grow faster in a pot together as you said at the start here? Love to both you & hubby 💕 Carrie 💚🌸🌱🪴💕
Bigger surface area provides more moisture and warmth for the roots to encourage growth. The video below might explain it better. Growing Succulents In BIG POT vs SMALL POT - ruclips.net/video/gyPJpLE4eBY/видео.html
Oh the pink witch has got me bewitched or bedazzled. I have also struggled with the west rainbow.. esp when summers come they cant take the heat. I plan to get them indoors under grow lights and air conditioning. I recently have started experimenting with wood ash vinegar ( saw it in a korean vdo and somehow it has helped me with d fungal gnats. I need to still observe and see whether it truly makes a difference. The different variegated ones are so beautiful. Thanku for the vdo. I got a mrs richards variegated and i hope i dnt murder it. She is beautiful
I find that a lot of the variegated ones do struggle because of the lack of nitrogen. Maybe giving them more fertilizer with high nitrogen content will do the trick. I'm experimenting on some at the moment.
Ben badis grows like weeds and can be harvested quite easily. I have a video below that might be useful. How To Separate Succulent Clusters to Propagate Fast - ruclips.net/video/IpCRF5oNToY/видео.html
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK thank you! I was worried because they are so tightly packed in. I might give it a bit longer then seperate. Thanks again ☺️
How cold does it get in the winter in your part of the world? This year I was away for work and it went down to -2 degrees Celsius, and it snowed. I thought all my succulents were gonna be dead . To my amazement I didn’t even lose a leaf off of one . And I have all kinds of succulents, many many “rare Korean” ones , but no where near as many as you do. I think my plants acclimated because the cold did come gradually.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK WOW, see I knew that they’re hardier than people think. When I posted pics of what I came home to on a fb group everyone was telling me to just get rid of them they’ll never make it , don’t waste your time and so on and so fourth. Good thing I didn’t listen cuz my plants are absolutely thriving. ❤️
Hi Liz, i m mesmerised of your succulent plants. I ve been getting cuttings from local in Perth, not much of choices. Do you sell cuttings from your collections? Love watching your youtube page..
Ma'am how do your plants stay compact Even in shade , mine just stretch out if I keep them in shade . Is it because of your soil mix. I only use cocopit that I get in market and nothing else . As I am new with succulents I am not getting the solution to stretching.
Not enough light is the only cause for stretching. If I placed my succulents in shade or glass window, they would also stretch out. Even though this area is covered with a 50% UV shade cloth, they get enough light for them to not stretch so much.
I think you're referring to the Echeveria Secunda Puebla. This will go all red once it's exposed to the sun. It's only green ATM because it's in a shaded area. There's another similar looking one called Echeveria Mocha.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK YES , she is an E. Secunda Puebla . I’ve had her for almost two years and I’ve never been able to get an ID for her until now . I live in an apartment in Canada so in the spring I put all mine outside but my balcony only receives morning sun so she’s green from spring to fall . Then when indoors in my grow room she goes all red. Such a cool oddity with its pointy leaves . I absolutely love it! Thanks Liz I really admire your plants and I love to learn from you it’s a privilege to have found this channel .
You know that echeveria forest at the beginning of the video, isn't that sedeveria letizia? 🧐 Are these 2 names for the same plant or are actually 2 different succulents?
The same question I ask the seller. The flowers are both the same, but the Forest seems to be on the deeper green side than the Leticia. Growing a couple of them ATM side by side to tell the difference.
Able to watch this while helping Kai with his dinner. Enjoyed the whole video👏 Didn't know I could wait for the flowers to dry up and sprinkle the seeds into pots 😄 Wondering how did you propagate the West Rainbow?

And most of them died. And melted.yours so fat, nd chubby thy looks happy and so lovely. Got jelous😢. But it is. Wht it is move on.

I find it hard to tell the difference between Afterglow and Pearle von Nurnberg.. I love your videos -such a delight and o helpful!
Afterglow have long slender leaves with paler color, while PVN has broader cup leaves. When small, very hard to tell until they get bigger.

Hi Liz, could you please share tips for taking care of e. Rainbows?
I find that they prefer a richer type of soil mix, full sun in spring through summer and loves moderate watering.

No, I don't ATM since I still don't have enough for my garden. Thanks for watching. 🥰
Liz do you know what the name of the spiky succulent in the middle is, at 18:19 ?
Echeveria Comet. I only bought one to compare with some of my other no name hairy plants and will be getting more in the new year.
Absolutely beautiful as always Liz. Could you give me the name of a GOOD marking pen please? My ID labels (outside) fade so fast! 😔
6H and 2H lead pencil I find is the best depending on the label you're using.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK thank you.
Do you have a Crassula moonglow? How to propagate these ones? They seem so tight to each other it seem impossible to take a leaf off them
A string around the plant will cut it. Remove bottom leaf by twisting and plant both leaf and stem.
Hi Liz, watching your videos. By any chance do you sell them ?
No, I don't at the moment. Maybe one day when I have too much. LOL
Do you pollinate them and that’s how you get seeds?
Some variety I do but most of them are left to the bees and other insects to do the pollinating.
