The problem with Thunderstruck is everyone get crazy for the intro riff, but the masterpiece here is the chorus riff, very very underrated and a jewel by Mal !

I prefer this live version because they were in their prime when they performed it and didn't have to drop a couple octaves like the River Plate. I also got to see this tour in 91 and hear them live with Love Hate....it was epic.

I understand what you're saying, but the absolute, unabashed insanity that is the River Plate audiences seems to bring out a little extra... somethin somethin in the lads performances in Argentina. That entire concert video just feels like magic captured in a bottle. Vocally I agree, song for song Donington is probably better, but visually, emotionally, viscerally, River Plate hits the lizard part of my brain.

@@peterzukowski The Donington show the people were a bit worn out by the time AC/DC got on stage......it was a Monster's of Rock festival and everyone had been there all day. I could guarantee the crowd would have been much more energetic if it was just their show.

"Saw them WAY back in 2008" he states. Good grief I saw them here in England 30 years earlier! I thought at the time regarding Angus' gyrations and energy, 'if that little bloke keeps that up, he won't last five years without serious brain or neck injury!"...yet 40-odd years later........
