I was in my teens in the late 70's now i'm 58, to this day when i listen to AC/DC so do my neighbors
I wasn't born until 75, but my older brother's room was next to mine, and his stereo and my headboard shared a wall. I have inherited his taste in music. Not that I heard it as a kid - he had headphones on. But the bass vibrations still came through the wall.
I'm only 54, so, HAH, you're old!
yours too?
61 driving around in the Dodge Dart turned up loud❤️
Hell yes brother
I will never get tired of seeing the younger generation discover AC/DC!! 😆
Every human has a ' Rock Gene'. It was fun watching you discover yours.
Ooh I love that concept👏
SO GLAD YOU FOUND THE BEST BAND EVER TO EXIST IN HISTORY, CAM, AND THIS IS THEIR GREATEST SONG TOO! More reactions to ACDC please!
Its a bit of a stretch to say best band ever but you are enthusiastic about them
@@davidgannon4302 At least 9 people disagree with you. Praise Jesus, Dave!
@@drServitis Wow nine that's an overwhelming number. Most will agree AC DC was a great rock band best ever is very debatable
@@davidgannon4302 Now at least 10 people disagree with you. You're in the minority here Dave. Keep praising Jesus!
@@drServitis Well seeing ten people agree with you but hundreds replied I think you need to check your math. Don't know what your Jesus kick is all about but if you need him to feel better about you so be it.
"Is rock growing on me?" Yes sir, youve been THUNDERSTRUCK
I'm 78 and my granddaughter hears all the reactors playing AC/DC, PINK FLOYD, METALLICA etc. whether she wants to or not. I catch her tapping her foot, lol.
LOL!!
Cool to see younger generation find the GOAT of Rock, AC/DC. There are scores of songs that you NEED to react to of their's. One of my all time favorites is, "It's a Long Way to the Top, If You Want to Rock and Roll".
Producer: You can't play bagpipes in Rock and Roll!
Bon Scott: "Hold my beer."
They play like this in concert every time and Angus on the lead guitar is always pumped full of energy and plays like this for the whole concert. This IS the best of the best rock bands! Try AC/DC "Shoot to Thrill."
This is ROCK !!! Been a fan of ACDC since 1971. Been to two concerts. Batshit crazy!!! You need to watch, Whole Lot of Rosie, Live at River Plate. The band is in their 50's and 60's at the time and still no slow down. You will love Angus.
welcome to the addiction. I love seeing people discover music from a time where it was real, not sampled, no auto-tune, and the musicians actually played. You gotta check out "Hells Bells", "Back in Black", Dirty Deeds"...you know what, just get you a CD and enjoy the ride.
ACDC is Rock Royalty!!
the album "Back in Black" is one of the best ever made by anyone in any genre. try the title track "Back in Black", "you shook me all night long", "hells bells" ++++
entire album of bangers
One amazing detail most people miss, Angus Young (guitarist) plays the main riff several times in this video (and also did it Live) WITH ONLY ONE HAND!! 😊
What is the drummer's name?
@@drServitis , I believe in this video was Chris Slade but the current (and main) one is Phil Rudd
@@fbras I read that Chris Slade had to step in when ACDC fired Phil Rudd a few years ago for drug use and run-ins with the Law in New Zealand.
@@drServitis I don't think they actually fired him - but I don't think he was able to leave New Zealand at the time and therefore couldn't tour. Chris Slade was their drummer in the early 90's as well when this album came out.
@@mikecoulson3575 According to Wikipedia Phil Rudd was fired twice from ACDC, first in 1983 due in part to a physical fight with Malcolm, then in 2015 because of problems with The Law. In 2016 Phil said he would never play with ACDC as long as Axl Rose was in the band(something I personally agree whole-heartedly with, Hate Axl Rose with a passion) Phil returned to ACDC in 2020
I have not seen a bad review of AC/DC yet!
Within five seconds, you see people open their eyes real wide, and the next thing they do is say 🔥
I started listening in the mid 70’s and still rocking at 64 , these group are in their 50’s-70’s and out play any band! Check out their live concerts ‼️‼️🎸🎸🎸✌🏼
59 years old... AC/DC was my first concert when I was 16. I have seen them live SEVERAL times because they... are... FIRE!!!!
My dad introduced me to AC/DC and I love them so much! It amazes me how someone can even do that with their voice and with those instruments! The best band I have ever heard! My dad loves this band too so I pretty much grew up listening to them.
You NEED to see their last live tour official footage, shot in Argentina. THAT was incredible. They choose that particular concert for a reason.
Def a music video. That's the studio recording laid over the video. Countless extras who gladly did it for free, most likely! Many takes to get the shots they wanted, I'm sure. And the crowd played along all day. :)
Fact: It doesn't matter who you are or what music you listen to ........ EVERYBODY has heard an AC/DC song or part of an AC/DC song. They just don't know it.
AC/DC have been rocking for close to half a century and one of the most iconic Rock bands in the World.
More AC/DC? React to: BACK IN BLACK, WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE (live at River Plate), HIGHWAY TO HELL, SHE SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT LONG, LONG TO THE TOP, TNT ... and plenty more.
I saw them on their thunderstruck tour it was the best concert I’ve ever seen , straight fire angus young one of the all time greats
Love the way _____everyone_____ listening to this one inevitably goes in full headbanging mode after the first few seconds.....
This was absolutely shot as a music video. If you want to see a good video of them in concert, there's a 2009 show at the River Plate that's popular. Glasgow 1978 and Paris 1979 are two really great shows with Bon Scott that you can find on RUclips.
It’s not metal rock growing on you, it’s AC/DC. I don’t like metal but I love the bangers from these gentlemen. They are such great musicians and hardworking performers, and always give everything they have. Angus Young is the GOAT.
Something amazing about this era of music. It has songs for every emotion and the ones with the beat all make you want to get up an move 🤘
Official music video. Loved seeing them in person many MANY times.
This song is common to hear before kickoffs at football games to pump the crowd up.
There's also Bon Scott era AC/DC. Both him and Brian Johnson are great.
I can’t listen to this song without picturing Deadpool and his team skydiving in Deadpool 2
Here is a list that you should try (in any order):
-Let There be Rock - official video or Live at Apollo Theatre - (with Bon)
-Whole Lotta Rosie (Live at River Plate) - (With Brian)
-TNT (Live at River Plate) - (with Brian)
-Riff Raff Live at Apollo Theatre - (with Bon)
- The Jack Live at River Plate - (with Brian)
- Its a Long Way to The Top (If you wanna Rock n Roll) - (with Bon)
- Thunderstruck - Live at River Plate or Donington - (with Brian)
-For Thouse About to Rock - Live at River Plate (is The Last song from the concert)
AC/DC music Always makes me want to pick up the Jack; Miss those days. Rock on Forever 🤘🔥
They look the same at live concerts! Watch them live at River Plate , Argentina! Metal musicians are very good and that play the same as in studio with the same quality 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Love them! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
You have to react to AC/DC live at River Plate. .Argentina....It is insane!!!!.....Epic!!!! The best crowd ever!!!!
The greatest Rock & Roll band ever!
David Gannon somewhere in these comments disagrees very strongly with you, and he is very committed to debunking the idea that ACDC is the greatest band ever. Check out his comments. The guy's a nutter extrordinaire!
ACDC or known in Australia as ACCA DACCA are LEGENDS, my dad has dressed up as Angus Young the guitarist on several occasions LOL
We always knew we would get straight-at-you, in-your-face like a freight train rock from AC/DC. Heck yeah, they're fire!
Please don't swear on this public site Vicki. Thank you.
@@drServitis Wouldn't dream of it!
@@vickiroman189 Btw, what's a nice girl like you doing listening to this kind of music??
@@drServitis I'm a red-headed preacher's kid. Usually not so nice :-)

This song is played at a pivotal moment in the movie "Battleship ". Check out all of the Live at River Plate concert. Angus Young is the lead guitarist and has always been amazing...
Can't believe Angus is gone. I'm actually in shock right now!
@@drServitis Angus is still alive. It was his brother, Malcolm who passed away
@@carolcjh8938 ?? You didn't see the news about Angus dying three days ago??
@@drServitis I can't find anything about Angus Young dying.
@@carolcjh8938 The info on Angus' death is everywhere on the internet. I first read about it in the New York Times four days ago since it's my go to paper. I'm still in shock. Always loved Angus. So genuine, and gave us so much great music.
This guy, Brian Johnson, was actually their second vocalist. Their original was Bon Scott and you can hear him on "Dirty Deeds (Done Dirt Cheap)". He died young, unfortunately. The band got lucky finding someone with a similar vocal style. He can't sing anymore now for some reason, or he had to take a break for a while so they brought in Axl Rose of Guns 'n' Roses for their last tour. I wasn't sure what to expect but he was amazing.
The reason acdc hired Brian after Bons death was Bon heard Brian play with his band Geordie in the mid 70's while on tour in England and told Angus if anything happens to me I want this man as my replacement and the rest is history
@@spike3082 You're right. And that's why there are so many rumors that Brian Johnson actually killed Bon Scott because Brian wanted in the band.
Rock and Roll. There you go.
Back in Black by AC/DC was playing when Tony Stark was in the "FUN VEE" right before his abduction In Ironman 1
Literally…. You were THUNDERSTRUCK!!!! 🤘🏽
AC/DC music is rarely heard in movies because the rights to use them is massive $$🇦🇺👍
I'm 73 and this still rocks me.......
Long live Rock roll!!!
Of COURSE you will have to check out more from them!!
The song “Thunderstruck” is from the album “The Razor’s Edge” as well as my previous post.
This is only 1 monster from the boys down under. You have been thunder struck 🤘❤️
brother, I recommend something: listen/react to the official videos of "back in black", "hells bells" and "shook me all night long" and then react to the live versions of these songs in river plate 2009 argentina, one of the most legendary rock concerts in history, they are on youtube in very good quality since ac dc recorded a dvd at that concert
Yes!!!
you can do the entire back in Black album!
River Plate sucked if you really want to experience ACDC at their best you should watch "Live at Donnington". Infinitely superior concert. River Plate ACDC are but a shadow of themselves. The pitch of the music changed too much so as to accommodate Brian Johnson not being able to sing the pitch of the original recording. Live at Donnington, ACDC didn't change anything. They were at the top of their abilities. Music pitch was as it was originally written. This video was from the No Bull Tour, which was around the time of the Donnington performance. This means this version of Thunderstruck is as good as it ever was. If you are after Back in Black watch Donnington, if you are after Hell's Bells and Whole Lotta Rosie, then you are best to buy the Bon Scott Albums. The best ever performance of Whole Lotta Rosie is on the If You Want Blood album. Most of the best Bon Scott Era music is on that album. The only other Bon Scott era albums you would need is Highway To Hell and Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. Those 3 albums will cover almost everything that ACDC did prior to Brian Johnson taking over the vocals (Bon Scott died in early 1980). But I will tell you that you Should leave River Plate alone. It is terribly overrated and just not as good for actual musical performance. Best Brian Johnson era music can almost all be seen and heard with Live At Donnington. I wouldn't look at much past that.
@@royhorn2782 much text live in river plate is better
Don't forget the jack!
Him and Angus kept them relevant for decades
Music video. This is not metal-rock, it's OZ Pub Rock. These guys are affectionately known as Acker-Dacker at home and have been rocking down under since before the day's of Bon Scott. See the concert version they did Live at The River Plate. Mad!
Friend, there were live concerts, we got drunk, we fought, the next day we were friends! But I didn't know about emoticon!
Rock and Roll baby.
Many rock n' roll bands video-taped their concerts. AC/DC is one hell of a group.
THE OKC THUNDER! Mad love from Oklahoma!!
Check out their live performance from 2009 at the River Plate stadium, getting on a bit by then but you'd not know it from their performances. Thunderstruck, Hells Bells, Highway to Hell,... any of their performances there in fact
If you’re familiar with the MCU films, then you’ve definitely heard AC/DC before. Their songs are featured in the first two Iron Man films, as well as the first Avengers film.
He’s so young. But a new fan Rock on!
This was a pre planned and Choreographed video. The Crowds that ACDC draws are hurge.. if they put on a concert and drew a crowd this small, they would jump out a window. you should check out some of thier concert videos.. I would suggest the 2009 show at river plate.
If you thought this was good then you need to hear their jam *"A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock & Roll)"*
Doesn't that video have the original lead singer? (For Camm's benefit) The original lead singer passed away after the group was already an international success.

Or as us Aussies sing "it's a long way to the shop for a sausage roll or chicko roll depending. Acca Dacca are Aussie so our version stands! Lol
Angus young on guitar he is bloody good.
This is a directed video with the first CGI EVER in a ROCK VIDEO to make the crowd size look twice the size and more fish eyed or round. There is no hall that looks like that. It was all planned and, half computer generated (the crowd)
They are so rock n' roll.
The only AC/DC album that was used as a soundtrack for a movie was Who Made Who and the movie was titled “Maximum Overdrive” with Emilio Estevez, Pat Hingle, and Laura Harrington.
They've used some of their stuff in The Avengers and Maximum Overdrive is a fun Stephen King horror with AC/DC soundtrack, try some of their early stuff with Bon Scott and the audience at Live At River Plate is amazing
On lead guitar “The school boy” Angus Young
Acdc grows on everyone. Might as well get ready.
Yes, this is COOL!
AC/DC Live at River plate ”Highway To Hell”,
Yeah hombre you definitely have been Thunderstruck!!!!!!! We all have!!!!! If got the chops go find anything from their 3 nights in a row concerts at River Plate in Argentina in Dec of 2009. Start with A Whole Lot Of Rosie and go down that rabbit hole 🕳!!!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!!! After all the lads are best tasted live in my humble opinion!!!!!!!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!!! 😍😍😍🎸🎸🎸🤩😎🍸
It's called pub rock in Australia. A pub being a beer selling establishment, I'm not sure if you call them that in America.
Is that right that Fosters is not that huge in Oz, my friend?

It's just I heard recently that it isn't ,which surprised me as it is very popular in England mate.
Watch the AC/DC concert at River Plate 2009 when they do Thunderstruck. L:ook at the size of the crowd.
You need to listen to "Soul Stripper" and "Squealer". The two greatest songs ever produced by AC/DC.
True rock legends.
song has been in movies, tv shows and used in sporting events
1990 forever!!!!
You’re listening to pure rock and roll. Head-banging, toe-tapping, rock.
You are correct, the song was in the movie. It was in the movie Battleship
One of the best Australian group still playing today I
Although I learned not long ago that Angus (schoolboy uniform guitarist) and his brother Malcolm (also in the band) were born in Scotland and... was not surprised.
@@urthboundmisfit You just learned that recently??? You really aren't a true ACDC fan. No wonder you like Axl Rose. You know nothing about ACDC. Get thou behind me.
You def need to checkout any of their songs from their River Plate concert in 2009! Then you will really get it!
A couple of my fav choices from that concert are Shook Me All Night Long, or Highway to Hell but you can't go wrong with any of them.

Guitarist, Angus Young has been "wiggin" like that for about 50 years! Awesome band!
Angus died recently from complications from dementia. Big loss for the rock world.
@@drServitis Not Angus - his brother Malcolm. And there was a lot of death in that poor family in a very short period time (youngest brother, dad and mom IIRC). I think Angus is the only one left of his immediate family (excluding spouse/children/ nieces and nephews, of course).
@@Raggmopp-xl7yf Malcolm is the guitarist in ACDC. Angus died from dementia. He left the band after he couldn't remember how to play the songs, then he died shortly there-after.
@@drServitis Go ahead and google it. I did to make sure. Angus is still with us. I've been a fan of ACDC for a long time and Malcolm's death tore me up. He was such a sweet and gentle man. When you said Angus had also died I almost lost it - so I checked.
@@Raggmopp-xl7yf I'm 75 years old(and have a little dementia just like Angus had before he died, my wife says I have alot) and I was a huge fan of ACDC since 1975. But I stopped being a fan when they hired Axl Rose. No true fan of ACDC could tolerate that.
While I love the official music video of this song you have to watch the Live at River Plate and see the crowd. Gives me goosebumps
