They just announced a world tour this morning
If I'm not mistaken they wrote this song for Angus's brother Malcolm who passed away five or six years ago from Alzheimer's. He played rhythm guitar and sang background vocals. RIP MALCOLM.

It was a combination of factors.
He had a heart condition and was using a pacemaker for years. He was also diagnosed with lung cancer previously.
Malcolm eventually succumbed to dementia.
What a great song and ode to the brains behind the band (Malcolm) since its inception and the band’s own legacy.

I've been an AC DC fan since 1978, with my first album being, "If You Want Blood, You've Got It". And I think this song and the Power Up album is a great recording! "Mist of Time" is a tribute to Brother Malcolm, who passed away a few years ago, and also to Bon Scott. I would definitely recommend listening to the entire Power Up album, your ears will love it! Keep in mind, Brian Johnson is 76 years old. He was 72 at the time this album came out. I hear there is a tour in the works. I will be there if at all possible.

Again, I'm crying. Thanks! No, really, thank you. Bon was a big enough loss. But without Malcolm in this world, it feels so fucking empty! Now Phil & Cliff are gone, fuck it sucks! But, they still keep going. Just like Malcolm wanted. The end of this video is so emotional. All the memories, the gigs I've been to. So overwhelming! Notice, at the end, Malcolm & Bon were the last to fade.😢

the videos they did for power up were during covid so each band member were in different places doing their bit. it was then edited to make it look like they were playing together

AC/DC announced their 2024 world tour ‘POWER UP’ European Tour recently. Angus, Brian, Stevie, and Matt will be joined by Chris Chaney to carry the torch for Cliff. The tour will play shows across Germany, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, England, Slovakia, Belgium, France & Ireland this Summer. Just F’ing unbelievable!!!! This album is created from bits and pieces of older music they never put out. Things Malcolm helped create. As you go through the album you can pick out sounds from the past. I have not yet tried to tie a new song to an old album but someone probably has.

2020 was the year Covid really hit and the world was a little depressed....so AC/DC gave us the gift of 'Power Up' to make a smile again. Best thing that happened that year (besides Trump getting booted!).

Try listening to "Rock The Blues Away." I guarantee you, it's vintage and present AC/DC at their best. It's from the album "Rock or Bust" released just before Power Up. Hey guys I have a suggestion for a legendary joke! Norm Macdonald, on his old podcast, tells the greatest “dirty Johnny” joke of all time 😂 definitely worth a watch! However the version he tells on the Howard Stern show isn’t as good so look for the version where Norm is wearing a red hat 🧢

Please, why would you want to listen to this rubbish, when they have so many great songs '74' through '80'. I can no longer admit to anyone i'm an AC/DC fan , because they immediately associate you with stuff like this.
