Pero no se trata de humildad... Eso es remarkable pero aquí no se está evaluando quién inspira más o quién es más humilde. Ambas están parejísimas en sus chengs, pero Simone lo hace un poco mejor. Simone no tiene piked en su fase de vuelo y aterrizaje, tiene más distancia y prácticamente misma altura para ser más baja. No son opiniones, son hechos. Ahora bien, claro que comprendí tu mensaje, pero estamos en un video de comparación de dos saltos? Qué correlación tiene la humildad con la ejecución del salto? A ti sí te falta coherencia. Por último, en mi opinión, tiene mucha más mérito lo que ha logrado Rebeca, porque sus condiciones son en desventaja, pero Simone tampoco la tuvo fácil? Tuvo una vida complicada y creeme que nadie en la historia ha tenido un plan de entrenamiento como Simone, ni Rebeca. O que eu vou falar foge um pouco da ideia do vídeo. Mas eu, como brasileiro, ver a Rebeca sendo comparada a Simone fico extremamente orgulhoso. A ginástica no nosso país é completamente desvalorizada e até mesmo desconhecida. Atleta sonegador de imposto tem mais reconhecimento, enquanto pessoas como a Rebeca conseguem resultados incríveis mesmo com todos os impasses.
Rebeca é a maior atleta do país! Íntegra, passou por 3 lesões que quase tiraram ela do esporte, não se envolve em escândalos e foca 100% no esporte! Isso sim inspira a todos❤️
@Macdealerx I have little technical knowledge but I agree. It looks beautiful and not only that, it’s greatly executed. The way she delays almost makes it feel dangerous, which in my opinion adds up to the final result.
@Macdealerx simones is still better executed tho. rebecas is very beautiful, but the way she hangs it up there does her no good regarding piking and distance.
I prefer to watch Rebeca's Cheng because to me Simone is boring overall because of how GOAT she is. However Simone's Cheng is straighter and gets more distance indeed.
I love both .. but Rebecas Cheng is soooo pleasing to the eye. Until the olímpic games I never really paid too much attention to the CHENG .. but ever since Rebecas vault in Tokyo It really became a thing ..
That is called "execution". She brought another level of execution to the gymnastic that we didn't see in so many years. And this is creating a contrast to people that were only focus on difficulty, and for some people Rebeca's Andrade execution makes her the favorite modern gymnast. And we were missing "great execution". Execution for me is so important that Nadia Comaneci is still for me the top 1 gymnast of all time, because she had inhuman level of execution.
It is floaty, perfectly balanced on high x distance what makes it creates this rounded drawing in the air. It is so beautiful that the first times she executed some people had a hard time recognizing it as a Cheng. She makes it seem another skill.

I love the way Rebecca pops off the table but hanging it up there causes ‘problems’ with piking the hips which cuts the distance and slows the rotation. Simone gets far more distance and is straighter so one deduction compared to two imo. Both amazing af though and grateful to have witnessed them even though not in person just in general in my lifetime.
Rebeca is the most complete gymnast in the world today, just perfect. All of Rebeca's performances are charming, she has great charisma and a touch of delicacy.
It must be a privilege for Rebeca to see this kind of "comparison". I mean, a girl who grew up on the outskirts of Brazil, a country that invests nothing in sports other than soccer and volleyball (volleyball not so much). A girl who comes from a very humble family, several times had to borrow money to be able to compete in even national competitions, reaching the top of the world as the most complete. Still being compared to one of the greatest gymnasts of all time, but who lived a very different reality, because she had many more opportunities. Not taking the merit of Biles, ever, but Rebecca had to work your ass twice as hard
Minha opinião: Rebeca tem o tempo perfeito para cada bloco do salto, a meia volta é bem marcada e o corpo fica bem estendido, a pirueta e meia é bem controlada e e por mais que ela carpe um pouco a chegada é sempre equilibrada e segura. Já a Simone que também maravilhosa, não marca muito a meia volta pois começa a rotacionar logo a após apoiar na mesa o que faz ela carpar um pouco menos que a Rebeca porém o salto não fica estético, seria como se a Simone tivesse menos controle do salto, o salto da Rebeca me passa mais segurança e domínio dos blocos do salto. (Essa é minha opinião baseada na minha impressão de leigo.)
Both are amazing. I love Rebeca’s block and how she hangs there for a moment, like Maroney used to, but all in all, gotta give it to Simone. Simone travels farther and doesn’t have quite the pike down. Jade needs to study those 2 and figure out how to get that full half turn on and keep those legs together. 😉 Love them all though! I’m grateful to be seeing more than just DTYs that’s for sure!

I have this feeling: it doesn't matter how accurate they can be with their performances because in the end of the day, Brazilians will support Rebeca and Americans will support Simone. And it's ok. They are both great gymnasts anyways!
Nah not anymore- not with world class gymnasts like Rebeca unifying the sport - she’s currently competing too so it’s great to see the support from Americans like myself that just love gymnastics, period 😊

One critique of each that the other does well: Biles- Crosses feet in the air. Andrade- Leg separation off the board. They are fabulous gymnasts and seem like kind humans. I respect them both. 💜💜
I adore Rebecas delayed twist but, Simone's distance and complete laid out position plus the fact she can add an extra half twist I have to go with Simone.

For me it’s difficult to say who does it better. Both Amazing! Length: Simone wins Height: Rebecca Wins Technique: I would say Rebecca is a little bit better because she makes it higher AND more importantly demonstrates a clean twist in which she makes that bad ass pause where she flyes half a salto without any twisting at all, then does the twist. All in all: both amazing: But I think Rebecca wins with a small margin. I’m not a gymnast so I don’t know if you get extra bonus for lenghs?
Como brasileiro sou fã e admirador da Rebeca, porém não dá pra negar que a Simone é a maior ginasta de todos os tempos e só o fato da Rebeca ser comparada com ela já é um fator de orgulho e saber que no mundo ela é a única que pode ter algum nível de igualdade com a simone
Biles’ Cheng is better because although Andrade‘s has more amplitude, Biles has better form (she does not pike down right before the landing) and has better distance from the vault. So Biles wins out if you judge the vault in its entirety.
We're splitting hairs with this one. Simone's is more "perfect." Rebeca's is more dynamic to watch. They are both great. Scoring-wise, Simone should have the edge, but I wouldn't call it "better." Just different.
They're both incredible. Simone is like a lawn dart, straight legs throughout and Rebeca pikes down quite a bit but I do love the clear block before twisting. I'd have to give the edge to Simone but man imagine them in a vault final together!! Fingers crossed.
Simone would win because of her capacity, she has the most difficult vault ever (not named), she has the Biles, the Cheng and the Amanar???? I mean, I love Rebeca, but a vault final together? I dare to say, Rebeca wouldn't have a chance against a healthy Biles.
I love Simone and I will always be a fan of hers and what she can do. But Rebeca’s Cheng is a thing of beauty. I have never seen a vault that actually made me gasp like the one she did at the Olympics.
They both have truly mastered this vault, but I have to give props to Rebeca. In my opinion, herd is more visually pleasing than Simone’s, and I particularly love her block and delayed twisting.

Andrade is probably the best female on this apparatus as long as Biles' not in the game, but Biles is nothing less than the best gymnast, -male & female, so..
Simone puts one foot over the other to help keeping legs together, whereas Rebecca doesn't do it and still keeps a tight form. Also Rebecca blocks the shoulders much better which increases height, whereas Simone doesn't have that much explosion, so her vault is lower and longer. So in conclusion, Rebecca has the best Cheng.

Simone clearly has more power, distance and rotation. Rebecca has the delayed twist which is fabulous but less rotation which makes it less dynamic than Simone.
Rebeca flies higher and has more perfection in execution. Simone lands further away, that is the onLy diference, but both are fabolous. Rebecca came from nothing, faced poverty and distance from the gym to become a gymnast, changed her destiny with help to train without money, faced 2 surgeries that would make any other give up but the determination made her win and become a star.
But, it is a vault not live story. You cant judge it by life story that make tou subjective. If you want to compare two vault, judge them based on technique, not life story
Simone wasn't born with a silver spoon in her mouth... her mother was a drug addict and she and her siblings ended up in foster care and had it not been for her grandparents taking her and her sister in and eventually adopting her.... there would be no Simone... So like the previous commenter said this is comparing their gymnastics not their life story!
If you read , I judged the jump first. Rebeca, in the jump, is superior because she flies high, has perfect execution, and with correct posture, Biles lands distant by speed. Biles is superior on the beam.but being born in the USA, having high investments and technology since childhood, it has to be agreed that it will create a champion. Rebeca only had access to this when she was a teenager, so this battle of life makes everything more amazing.
Rebeca goes higher, does not cross her legs and has a better parellel hand placement when she touches the table. The only thing simone has on Rebeca is the distance. I have to go with Rebeca.
I think Rebeca actually goes HIGHER than Simone, wow! But Simone still has the edge in distance. Nobody travels as far on vaulting as her. She legit could compete against the men on vault (especially if she did the Yurchenko double pike).

I absolutely LOVE Rebeca’s slow entrance and fast twisting. It looks stunning. It honestly looks like two different vaults to me, but I love both.

Rebecca es maravillosa elegante, artistica, esprime todos. Para mi ella es mejor!

The Cheng from Panamericano 2023, Rebeca surpassed it. Biles never made one as perfect as that one. Execution 9.733. Impressive.
She got a 9.7 in 2016, a 9.666 in 2021 as well has high E scores over the years. Let's not pretend that they aren't on par

For me it’s difficult to say who does it better.

Technique: I would say Rebecca is a little bit better because she makes it higher AND more importantly demonstrates a clean twist in which she makes that bad ass pause where she flyes half a salto without any twisting at all, then does the twist.
All in all: both amazing: But I think Rebecca wins with a small margin.
I’m not a gymnast so I don’t know if you get extra bonus for lenghs?

Como brasileiro sou fã e admirador da Rebeca, porém não dá pra negar que a Simone é a maior ginasta de todos os tempos e só o fato da Rebeca ser comparada com ela já é um fator de orgulho e saber que no mundo ela é a única que pode ter algum nível de igualdade com a simone

Biles’ Cheng is better because although Andrade‘s has more amplitude, Biles has better form (she does not pike down right before the landing) and has better distance from the vault. So Biles wins out if you judge the vault in its entirety.

We're splitting hairs with this one. Simone's is more "perfect." Rebeca's is more dynamic to watch. They are both great. Scoring-wise, Simone should have the edge, but I wouldn't call it "better." Just different.
The Rebeca's Cheng is perfectly like the score code... She does the movement on the hair
So lucky that we get to see BOTH of these amazing athletes pushing the boundaries of their sport and bodies
Rebeca, yes she pikes a bit at the end but her overall form is better plus she doesn’t cross her legs like Biles

They're both incredible. Simone is like a lawn dart, straight legs throughout and Rebeca pikes down quite a bit but I do love the clear block before twisting. I'd have to give the edge to Simone but man imagine them in a vault final together!! Fingers crossed.
Simone would win because of her capacity, she has the most difficult vault ever (not named), she has the Biles, the Cheng and the Amanar???? I mean, I love Rebeca, but a vault final together? I dare to say, Rebeca wouldn't have a chance against a healthy Biles.

I love Simone and I will always be a fan of hers and what she can do. But Rebeca’s Cheng is a thing of beauty. I have never seen a vault that actually made me gasp like the one she did at the Olympics.
To me Rebecca is higher on her Cheng but Simone keeps it cleaner
They both have truly mastered this vault, but I have to give props to Rebeca. In my opinion, herd is more visually pleasing than Simone’s, and I particularly love her block and delayed twisting.
It’s visually pleasing cause you can see it happen. Simone’s is so fast you barely see what is happening.

Simone puts one foot over the other to help keeping legs together, whereas Rebecca doesn't do it and still keeps a tight form. Also Rebecca blocks the shoulders much better which increases height, whereas Simone doesn't have that much explosion, so her vault is lower and longer. So in conclusion, Rebecca has the best Cheng.
Well, the numbers suggests otherwise. Have you compared Simone's Cheng scoring with Rebbeca's?

Simone clearly has more power, distance and rotation. Rebecca has the delayed twist which is fabulous but less rotation which makes it less dynamic than Simone.
Rebecca is so Great though and probably getting better. I do like Simones vaults better but Rebecca is not far away.

There are times Rebecca only does 3/4 on and not the half on
Rebeca flies higher and has more perfection in execution. Simone lands further away, that is the onLy diference, but both are fabolous. Rebecca came from nothing, faced poverty and distance from the gym to become a gymnast, changed her destiny with help to train without money, faced 2 surgeries that would make any other give up but the determination made her win and become a star.
But, it is a vault not live story. You cant judge it by life story that make tou subjective. If you want to compare two vault, judge them based on technique, not life story
Simone wasn't born with a silver spoon in her mouth... her mother was a drug addict and she and her siblings ended up in foster care and had it not been for her grandparents taking her and her sister in and eventually adopting her.... there would be no Simone... So like the previous commenter said this is comparing their gymnastics not their life story!
If you read , I judged the jump first. Rebeca, in the jump, is superior because she flies high, has perfect execution, and with correct posture, Biles lands distant by speed. Biles is superior on the beam.but being born in the USA, having high investments and technology since childhood, it has to be agreed that it will create a champion. Rebeca only had access to this when she was a teenager, so this battle of life makes everything more amazing.

Rebeca goes higher, does not cross her legs and has a better parellel hand placement when she touches the table.
The only thing simone has on Rebeca is the distance.

I think Rebeca actually goes HIGHER than Simone, wow! But Simone still has the edge in distance. Nobody travels as far on vaulting as her. She legit could compete against the men on vault (especially if she did the Yurchenko double pike).
