Nice video Duncan, Sure your Ailsae will germinate soon mate, i like the looks of the ones from your own seed, they look nice and strong for the age of them, i notice you use the same sort of Plant support clips as i do ( well until they get bigger then i swap over to bigger supports )👍
Hope so haha if not I'll order some more lol, those little clips are Briliant I might make a load of bigger supports for when they are in the final pots

i've tried growing giant onions once before and failed miserably. it doesn't do the confidence much good, but bugger it. i'm having a go. at least there should be something for the table. my first sowing is doing miserably. there's always the boxing day sowings to look forward to...................brian
It's always fun to try Brian and if you don't try you'll never know like you said even if they are just good for eating you're winning ill be doing My maincrop before boxing day this year I've got a feeling I'm going to be quite buisy then haha
How often do you keep the fan on for? Mine has just started to germinate. Impressed with how good those onions look. Hopefully the new seeds will germinate for you
Great update Duncan, full of really good advice, think I panicked a bit with mine, typical me, saw roots coming out the bottom and thought I best get them into something a bit bigger, lesson learnt and I’ll know for next time. Hope the fresh Ailsae make an appearance soon, or you’ll think I sent you a packet of dud’s 🧅👍
