Creative Girls Rock®️ Mural Project: John Early Museum Magnet Middle School

The John Early Museum Magnet Middle School mural, the latest creation by Creative Girls Rock® (CGR) Lead Mural Artist, Elisheba “Queen Bee” Mrozik (www.queenbeeink.com), stands as a testament to the rich history of North Nashville. Funded by FirstBank, it honors the exceptional individuals who have left indelible marks on the community.
From Marvin Moore's pioneering integration efforts at Jones Elementary School (now Jones Paideia Elementary) to Nathan Harris's influential Woodcuts Art Gallery and Sharon Kay's transformative work with Fisk Jazzy 88, the mural showcases the diverse tapestry of North Nashville's heritage.
Through CGR's perspective, it not only celebrates these unsung heroes but also elevates their narratives alongside the renowned Tigerbell figure of Wilma Rudolph, underscoring the collective resilience and ingenuity of the community.
