In this video I want to show you the best works of the most famous street artist in the world-BANKSY.
Who is Banksy?
Banksy is an anonymous England-based street artist, vandal, political activist, and film director, active since the 1990s.
His satirical street art and subversive epigrams combine dark humour with graffiti executed in a distinctive stenciling technique.
Banksy displays his art on publicly visible surfaces such as walls and self-built physical prop pieces. Banksy no longer sells photographs or reproductions of his street graffiti, but his public "installations" are regularly resold, often even by removing the wall they were painted on.

I love how he includes different dimensions, like using the environment as part of the art, and childish drawings combined with very realistic illustrations. The way he crosses those boundaries creates a very strong impact. I like it when art bends your reality.

i love how he introduces iconic images in his vision. Combining past and present symbols, is like he is re-writing History (The lil girl burned by napalm during Vietnam War, walking hand in hand with McDonald) and enlight its absurdity. A genius Humanist

What if it's just a group of wealthy people who schemed this whole thing up in order to put value on this stuff who are exploiting the message of humanity for gain?
Conveniently hiding behind a fictitious elusive artist who is now famous. The more I think about this, the more suspicious it gets.
I do approve of the messages though. At least it serves humanity and obviously the masses like it. Could there be a trade-off here? Is there are trade-off happening in all of this right now?

Do you know that you can press the middle of the screen and it pauses the video if you are watching on any smartphone or touchscreen medium. I too have to pause the show to appreciate the work. Enjoy the show.

You can slow down the playback speed when you watch it. It will also slow down the music though which makes the video seem a little sadder.

People who clammer on the identity of Banksy need to realize that part of the art is the hidden identity of the artist. There is a certain aura that comes along with being anonymous and the beauty of the work doesn’t change because you know who did it.

A friend of mine recently commit suicide Banksy was his favorite artist, his favorite piece was Butterflies Girl he even had it tattooed. I never knew about Banksy until him, I had seen pieces before but never knew they were his specifically, his expressions of art are beautiful very touching. I appreciate art in every form ♡ thanks for sharing

Banksy is der Wahnsinn, schade das seine Werke so extrem Kommerzialisiert sind. Daher Sieht man doch das andere Künstler es in meinen Augen oft genauso oder oft noch mehr Verdient hätten so einen Erfolg zu haben.Auserdem hört es bei mir bei Streetart so wie so auf wenn irgendwelche Leute die Frechheit besitzen und seine Werke aus den Wänden schneiden und für die Superreichen Ausstellungen organisieren. Aber wie es halt so ist da kommt mal wieder Geld zu Geld und zerstören meiner Meinung nach die Kunst durch das Bewerten in Zahlen.

Genius, so many overpaid hacks churning out the same stuff. Banksy raises his own bar challenging himself and our perceptions with almost every new work. He revived and reminds me of some of the great street art of the 80s, (Haring and that master shadow, scribble, drip in black guy/ can't think of name) I also felt one with the creation/shredding frame at auction. Talk about art creating a dialogue. LOL
I loved that piece that shredded itself! It was a piece of visual art that unexpectedly turned into performance art. And I think you're thinking of Jean-Michel Basquiat!
@@marialinietsky8365 Hi, I don't think it's Basqiuat, I know much of his work but possibly. I was speaking about these black shadow, squiggle/drip figures usually beside doorways, entrances (near 42nd Street bus lane from Lincoln Tunnel) or under bridges or overpasses. Basqiuat was a great black artist/friend of Warhol, but I don't think he created those. Thanks for responding during these tumultuous times, Stay Well and God Bless !!!

Iv just read Banksy is selling art work to raise funds for the NHS.This is marvellous as they work so hard especially through the coronavirus. It’s such a same that we have to rely on wonderful people instead of our government supporting the NHS
When I was a lad it use to be called vandalism painting walls with spray paint. He should be arrested and made to clean this muck up.
Crazy to think the government need to protect these graffiti pieces (Not all but a lot) but if anyone else did it they called it ugly and they should be charged… all because that person isn’t some inconspicuous artist prett wack if you ask me.
