I think you're the delusional one here dude. Nowhere did I state that the same thing happened to Miller against Bisping and CB. I said he hadnt improved one bit, and of course he wouldnt because there was only 5 months between the 2 fights. He stunned CB yes, but with the same terrible striking that he showed against Bisping...but lucky for him CB has terrible defense compared to Bisping and kept getting caught. Wheres was Millers amazing ground game? oh again it was non existent
Thanks to Jason for being strong enough to do the interview. Yeah he seems sad, but who wouldn't. He is a rebel and the UFC doesn't like that sort of thing. I just wish he would have won the fight and then things might have turned out different. I look forward to seeing him outside of the ring he is a very entertaining guy.
People hate thunder dave but I've noticed there hasn't been any youtube ads leading to these videos thanks to Thunder Dave which you can easily skip over. So it's a much better ad than the unskipable or 5 second delay ones.
What do you expect? He's a reporter, not Mayhem's therapist. A reporter's job is to ask the questions that the public wants to know the answers to. That interview answered every question I had about Mayhem. He did his job
Great interview and truly sad story in hindsight. Everyone talking shit: realize that this is a dude who put his livelihood on the line to entertain people. Show compassion because he's a dude that deserves consideration, whether you like his shtick or not. I can't understand anyone who can watch that video and still say terrible things. Onwards and upwards, Miller!
What's up? Man I wish Mayem didn't retire he was and is still amazing. He really cared about people. I wish things didn't happen the way it did. Him fighting and his TV show was amazing. I hope that one day I'd meet Mayem. I've always thought about being in mma because I've always wanted to and because Mayem being a good inspiration. If I had the chance I'd ask for him to coach me and help me Pursue my dream. I'm from broken arrow. If anybody could help me get his attention that'd be amazing
I liked Mayhem and this is very sad to bear witness to. He lost his last two fights mostly due to his cardio as far as I can conclude. I hope he bounces back and works this all out.
Ariel is finally starting to piss me off. I wanna see him get in the octagon just ONCE and then go back to interviewing. Might change his perspective a bit....
I love Mayhem, and was surprised by these last few fights. Not the same Mayhem as I have seen from earlier fights. He sounds like he's jacked up on pain killers. Wonder if he has been fighting with that for a while. OR he has had one too many hits to the head. He just hasn't seemed the same over the last few years. This is a guy who just received his black belt in BJJ - he didn't look it in the cage. Oh well - Wish him well
Mayhem.. you're not done in the ufc, you did great in that fight. Dollaway turned into a blanket, because he couldnt handle your striking. Everytime you say say you're going to improve on something you do, and once you cant anymore is when you're trully done. You have more time in the ufc Mayhem, and Dana is gonna realise that he's wrong for trying to get rid of you. Be depressed for a little bit, but I know you're gonna come back from this, and every fight is gonna be a win. I can feel it.
Jason Miller is bleeding from his heart and says something honest and profound about how Gladiators were slaves at 6:34 Ariel hits the Anti-UFC button at 6:45 . Nice catch Ariel, nice catch.
wtf? huge improvement? lol he looked the same except with slightly better carido. His striking was still terrible, but lucky for him CB has terrible defense and kept getting caught....and his bjj black belt was non existent
Dana put Kimbo on the show as a contestant while he made Mayhem a COACH...Thats a huge difference.. he didnt put Kimbo as the coach he put him as a fighter to PROVE himself and EARN Danas respect.
Mayhem miller destroyed GSp in 2004 I wish he just trained more since then he is the most amazing talent I ever saw and without an argument the best pound for pound fighter of all time Anderson being the second
It not a UFC fighters job to promote & market themselves. Nick Diaz for example, angry, unpredictable, says what he likes type of guy. That's just the way he is, he's not trying to be an entertainer. It just so happens the general public find his personality interesting.............Mayhem was transparent. He tried to hard to give people what he thought they expected from him. He should have been himself............All being said. good look to him hope he rebounds well from this.
Ok... I read all the coments (almost) and I would like to say that first of all... I love Mayhem, he's a hell of a fighter... But he did lose to Frank Tigg or to Michael Bisping, because he wasn't up to his game... But I don't think he should retire so soon... He is still a very good fighter...
put another way, mayhem's bout against CB was A THOUSAND times better than what i saw from condit the jogger against diaz...he didnt dodge or try to avoid a fight...you say that his striking is garbage and his ground game okay, yet you dont realize he went the distance in a fight that was neck and neck up until the last round.
For everyone saying hes stupid cant talk ect. but look this was 48 hours after the fight he prolly has a head ache his body is hurting hes tired he doesnt wanna talk to people at this time
eh.. he has avenues but when a guy has been fighting for that long it is tough to stay away when he is only. i think he will be back in 1-2 years from now
It was a humiliating loss for him. But beating a wrestler is no easy task. I would say he lost because of his knee and conditioning as a result. Too bad. Hate to see guys go out like that. I think he will be back. Obviously a lot to swallow for the guy right now.
im still in the middle of watching the shit, i wanted to see how it ended up in the state its in at the current interview but this interview seems totally fine. hahaha
i see mayhem as being kinda like wanderlei silva in that his style is better suited to japan and there sort of rules rather than america and the ufc rules.
Ariel needs to smoke some dope to connect with people a little more, he is warm hearted but seems more interested in the interview than the connection being created with the person being interviewed.
this interview made me really sad.. Jason Miller is an awesome dude and sucks to hear him like that. Keep ya head up MAYHEM!!!
I think you're the delusional one here dude. Nowhere did I state that the same thing happened to Miller against Bisping and CB. I said he hadnt improved one bit, and of course he wouldnt because there was only 5 months between the 2 fights. Wheres was Millers amazing ground game? oh again it was non existent
I don't think I've ever heard mayhem sound so bummed. I love this guy and I will remain a loyal fan to him.
Nice show of class, Ariel. Respect.
Thanks to Jason for being strong enough to do the interview. Yeah he seems sad, but who wouldn't. He is a rebel and the UFC doesn't like that sort of thing. I just wish he would have won the fight and then things might have turned out different.
I look forward to seeing him outside of the ring he is a very entertaining guy.
want to give him a hug. its ok bro! life goes on.
Best of luck to Mayhem and whatever he decides to do in his future.
People hate thunder dave but I've noticed there hasn't been any youtube ads leading to these videos thanks to Thunder Dave which you can easily skip over. So it's a much better ad than the unskipable or 5 second delay ones.
wow...im so used to mayham being so cheery he sounds fucking depressed as all hell i feel so bad for him i just wanna give him a hug:(
i still love jason, he should get his own show.
agreed, i found him to be an awesome coach on TUF
this is surprisingly the most serious i have ever heard mayhem be.
I have never heard him so sad before. It's insane.
What do you expect? He's a reporter, not Mayhem's therapist. A reporter's job is to ask the questions that the public wants to know the answers to. That interview answered every question I had about Mayhem. He did his job
man, poor miller had that fight won it was his knee... tons of heart good spirit youll be missed
Great interview and truly sad story in hindsight. Everyone talking shit: realize that this is a dude who put his livelihood on the line to entertain people. Show compassion because he's a dude that deserves consideration, whether you like his shtick or not. I can't understand anyone who can watch that video and still say terrible things. mayhem, dont retire. all your fans pre ufc are all still your fans. id watch mayhem fight anyday against anybody
Good luck mayhem. He's world would suck right now, support him.
I liked Mayhem and this is very sad to bear witness to. He lost his last two fights mostly due to his cardio as far as I can conclude. I hope he bounces back and works this all out.
This is a radio show, that's why he's not so animated but he does know his MMA.
true that man for sure, bring pride back!!
Mayhem Miller was and always will be one of my MMA idols. Hey at least we'll see him in other avenues.
i feel bad hes so pissed man...the man just doesnt have it anymore and hes not even old at all hes in his 30's
Hes not done. He'll come back eventually, maybe not UFC, but he'll fight.
Mayhem Miller is one of my favs.
MAYHEM FTW DONT QUIT :(
i really hope he becomes an action star or something because he is real and very entertaining
Much respect to Jason mayhem miller
It was surprising that Mayhem didn't fall asleep during CB's hugfest.
CRUSHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think he's done....interview was too soon he's just bummed out right now
I'm so sorry for Mayhem!!!
Ariel is finally starting to piss me off. I wanna see him get in the octagon just ONCE and then go back to interviewing. Might change his perspective a bit....
People loved the show, and he made allot of money doing it, so it was a success, it just didnt continue as long as other shows..
Missing Mayhem. Bring back bully beat down! Jason Miller at Oldman status will be most awesome.
I wish that every day of my life! It'd be AWESOME!!
I could see him fight for Bellator next year when they move to Spike TV. Its even possible for him to get back into Strikeforce.
ariel just posted on twitter that mayhems gonna be on the mma hour in studio this monday if you all wanna see
"I'm just talking out loud right now"
I for one do most of my speaking in silence
I love Mayhem, and was surprised by these last few fights.
Not the same Mayhem as I have seen from earlier fights.
He sounds like he's jacked up on pain killers.
Wonder if he has been fighting with that for a while.
OR he has had one too many hits to the head.
He just hasn't seemed the same over the last few years.
This is a guy who just received his black belt in BJJ - he didn't look it in the cage.
Oh well - Wish him well
Jason is so HIGH!! They say it takes one to know one and I can tell he is high as a kite
Was never a huge Mayhem fan but I wish him the best. Wish he could retire on a win though!
Mayhem.. you're not done in the ufc, you did great in that fight. Dollaway turned into a blanket, because he couldnt handle your striking. Everytime you say say you're going to improve on something you do, and once you cant anymore is when you're trully done. Lmao at the picture to look at while you listen to jason talk
Ill miss you Mayhem !
Jason Miller is bleeding from his heart and says something honest and profound about how Gladiators were slaves at 6:34 Ariel hits the Anti-UFC button at 6:45 . Nice catch Ariel, nice catch.
Jason do a travel around the world and show the different martial arts, also fight one good guy from every style with "special rules".
mayhem seems devastated
mayhem is a greta fighter his fights in the ufc were his first in a while
wtf? huge improvement? lol he looked the same except with slightly better carido. His striking was still terrible, but lucky for him CB has terrible defense and kept getting caught....and his bjj black belt was non existent
You don't need to retire Mayhem, if Varner can get his shit together so can you.
Miller I love you
Dana put Kimbo on the show as a contestant while he made Mayhem a COACH...Thats a huge difference.. he didnt put Kimbo as the coach he put him as a fighter to PROVE himself and EARN Danas respect.
I feel bad for Mayhem in this interview, he kinda shows that he's sensitive to all the criticism he gets.
I don't want to die without any scars.
he may not be the best fighter but hes likeable wish him luck.
9:33 "Nah I have a fuck it list" LMFAO! that was funny
Mayhem miller destroyed GSp in 2004 I wish he just trained more since then he is the most amazing talent I ever saw and without an argument the best pound for pound fighter of all time Anderson being the second
Don't care what anybody says. He was a great fighter and still is a great entertainer.
Have respect he's a fighter.
dont be scared homie
relax man, it has been his life since he was 17. He has been professional SINCE 17. It's not easy quitting what you love the most.
Ariel: "Do you have sort of a bucket list"
Mayhem: "Nah, I have a fu(k it list"..LoL!!
3 losses due to stoppage. Out of 28 wins he has 23 finishes.
Bring back a Fight Quest type show and make Mayhem the host!!!!!
Love the mayhem!!! Chin up.
Ok... I read all the coments (almost) and I would like to say that first of all... I love Mayhem, he's a hell of a fighter... But he did lose to Frank Tigg or to Michael Bisping, because he wasn't up to his game... But I don't think he should retire so soon... He is still a very good fighter...
Does anyone know if he will be doing Bully beatdown again?
was that really the best pic they could find of Miller? lol
About damn time, Good Riddance!
Ariel: Do you have sort of a bucket list that you're gonna try to cross things off?
Mayhem: Nah, I have a "fuck-it" list.
He'd still knock your teeth in so you're in no position to criticize.
put another way, mayhem's bout against CB was A THOUSAND times better than what i saw from condit the jogger against diaz...he didnt dodge or try to avoid a fight...you say that his striking is garbage and his ground game okay, yet you dont realize he went the distance in a fight that was neck and neck up until the last round.
MAYHEM LIVES!!!!!!
"With a condom on?" - Sad as I was listening to this interview, he still got me to crack a smile.

Mayhem and Ken Flo should both commentate.
wtf happen to bully beatdown? the show was epic
man it sux to hear mayhem like this.
Poor Miller. Such a cool dude. But I'm sure he'll be back.
Brother, what are you on?
am i the only one that doesnt know what happened to him? cause i have no idea.
Ya you could sign up in his class.
every one of ariels videos i watch that involves a skype call, the call always drops
yeah he is a rebel allright, he likes to go the conventional wisdom of winning he wants to lose
it's hard to say 'adieu'.
im still in the middle of watching the shit, i wanted to see how it ended up in the state its in at the current interview but this interview seems totally fine. hahaha
i see mayhem as being kinda like wanderlei silva in that his style is better suited to japan and there sort of rules rather than america and the ufc rules.
24:00 Nice Pulp Fiction reference haha.
Ariel needs to smoke some dope to connect with people a little more, he is warm hearted but seems more interested in the interview than the connection being created with the person being interviewed.
If being dominated for 3 rounds by C.B. Dollaway is a "huge improvement," he doesn't belong in the UFC.
it was for an after the fight incident man...
Dana White put Mayhem on the ultimate fighter for his first fight back to UFC... Of course he liked and respected Mayhem
Hallelujah. Next, Chael's retirement.
best part of the interview was miller professing how articulate he is prefaced by a solid 9 seconds of stammering and word barf....
Did mayhem lose against CB?
