48. Hades - Stronghold Crusader HD Trail [75 SPEED NO PAUSE]

Me vs Caliph, 2 Richards and Pig, Mass crossbows, horse archers and macemen. So if you think 10K vs 10K gold makes this mission easy you're so damn wrong, You get catapult pushed by every AI and the map makes it really hard to defend, you don't really have a safe place for your production or even food production, there's a really small island on the bottom left of your base but you can't put that many buildings in there, so the main strategy here was to destroy all my buildings so catapults don't get random kills and defend the first wave of attacks, after that I try to get one of them out of the game before next wave arrives (They have more income so attacks just get harder and harder over time) once you get one of them it becomes so much easier then you start making catapults and horse archers and eventually win the game, attacking them isn't as simple as before either the terrain gives them so much advantage so you have to take things slow.

I hated this mission.It's just crazy unfair.It's banned all of my favourite activities and buildings;
I always build two square towers at the end of my castle's jurisdiction building and out one ballista for catapult and one manglole to with with 10 shields to cover it with 40-50 archers at the begging.
This was banned do to the ballista and shield restriction.I said ok maybe i could moat Pig out of the lower map and force all of my foes to attack from a single root and than i saw that moat is banned likewise.
This mission is by far the most annoying

I finally ended up beating this mission by going all riders of rohan and my only army was 300 horse archers and just outrunning all the enemy foot soldiers because they’re slower than the lord

In the very beginning i buied Maceman in the Market (30) and then i kiled Richard in the east...
Now i have more Gold and in the same time, I destroied the Unterkunft of the Pig now he couldnt produce any troups...

LOL not me replying to a year old comment, but "rally points" like that flag that send created units to that spot are set by opening Barracks/Merc Post and pressing corresponding number for specific troop: Archer = 1, Spearman = 2, Maceman = 3, etc., open barracks, hit 3, click to place flag, macemen will run there when they spawn. gg fam.

33 and 41 are the real hardest missions of stronghold crusader

41 is easy peasy compared to this. not being able to build ballistas and arrowmakers is a real pain. In 41 you have this and plenty of resources and much more space.
The catapults in the beginning are a nightmare...

@@gabowesker9697 Maybe I am just not that good of a player, but I could do every mission pretty easily, but this one. This may be because of my play style, but I could not do it at speed without doing the trick of moving everything including the grainery south of the water.

@@perchte so to have an easier time at this mission I would recommend putting towers one at the south east of your keep close to Pig's Castle and another one North near one of the Richards Castle, those towers must have one Manogrel and 20 Crossbowmen each.
Once you got that setup make the Mangronels hit any target closer the center of their keep the better since the Mangronel will make North Richard basically stop him from playing the game meanwhile to Pig will hit sometimes his catapults and annoy his production, which makes him waste his gold pretty fast beware tough that he could send his macemen to your Tower to kill your units on that tower so send your Lord to the stairs to kill those macemen and so they don't reach the Mangronels and Crossbowmen.
East Richard would also send some Pikemen towards them, the start part of this mission mainly you will have to concentrate on repairing your towers and defending the Mangronel and Crossbowmen but after their first raid they won't have that much of gold due to your arrasment.
Also make sure to get as many quarrys and iron mines for you on the Left to repair your towers and bulid them fast because if you don't the game won't allow you to put one tower near North Richard since his domain grow and also Pig starts raiding you pretty fast.
The only thing to worry is East Richard catapults but due to 10K gold you will have enough resources to build again anything he destroys just guard your towers and repair your towers.
Also to support towers use Arabian archers but not inmediately their mainly for Pig's Macemen if you feel too much pressure, in this mission you will have to rely a lot in Arabian Archers since Fletchers workshop are not available, but use them wisely since they cost quite some gold.
