My strategy is to block everything with walls and keep one side open and fill the side with archers and fire throwers and shieldsof course. Sometimes I create a maize that buys me more time to kill everyone. Fire throwers work like a charm.
This mission was a memorable one. I still remember it. I lost it three times. Finally, I did the following; I blocked the lower left river at the beginning of the game with walls and some archers on top of them. Consequently, all the lords attacked me from the top river. Then, I put a tower close to that river full of crossbowman and archers. Also, I built several dairy farms and used fear factor at max. After that, whenever a group of soldiers were passing the river toward me, I bombarded the river with seek cows. In addition, I put some ballista close to the tower as well. :D
Probably my favorite level of the campaign. For some reason i enjoy building different castle variations in this level while trying to withstand the horde. . I almost treat it like a Free Build mode but with the constant threat of being overwhelmed by 100k troops
I always remember my father would play on this map on ur position His Strat is to make wall of tower on the east, pack it with fuck ton of longbow and block the river crossing He like to stack up kills over slaves I remember he got 60k kills from killing those poor slaves 😂
This is one of the few extreme missions that have some semblance of balance wherein you don't feel compelled to rush any opponents. There should have been more missions where you get at least one outpost.
I have recently started playing the campaign without the helping bobble.I have won all of them excpect four; The host,Lionheart,the final victory & the crossroads.I haven't tried any of them except for The host which i have failed in it many times
Stronghold crusader extreme was an absolute blast to play I still play it today and the crusader version I managed to finish all the levels of both games but it was infuriating at times 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hello it's been a year so you may have done it yourself. It's much longer and frustrating but its basic secret is using trebuchet and shield or assassins for destroying the outposts( assassins for the ones that are near) and two towers full of crossbows and shield and two ballistas. I've done them all except for 4 of them.The last two i think are literally impossible without magic
The extreme version has 2 new mechanics: 1. The outposts: They automatically produce free units for you, usually the map gives some outposts to the AIs to put you at a disadvantage. 2. The powerbar: This is a player only thing, you generate meter throughout the match and you can spend them on abilities like spawn macemen/spearmen or arrow valleys, you can see me use them in the video Overall the extreme version is supposed to be slightly more challenging and unfair for the player, though I believe the normal version is way harder if you're not abusing the AIs lol
Only one barracks, the rest are outposts (they look exactly the same) Each mission gives either you or the opponents a few outposts which will automatically spawn infinite amounts of units until they're destroyed, that's one of the main mechanics of Stronghold Crusader Extreme

The mission with a time limit, as if you are not fast enough, the game crashes due to that insane outpost that literally prints slaves

I just finished the extreme trail 100% with ONLY building macemen. And on top of that: No walls, no towers, no economy. Only macemen xD

i dig mot 1 side and used crossbow and archer on towers 24 bow and 30 archer thats easy way to defend
