I must mention than Richard is best ally btw. One of best at least. He is also very thankfull for aid and he can regaing his power again if he losing but we helped.
And yeah - help the ally means help yourself is truth here.

One thing that should be mentioned is that both Saladins had massive flaws here: black Saladin can't build a marketplace and purple Saladin can't build an engineers guild.

Easy match. As long as you secure stone resources, you won't have any problem.

Not to be mean, but how can that be the 47th mission of the campaign? Blue Sultan is so easy to kill and also Richard deal easily with yellow Sultan.
It would have been much more difficult if the two Saladins had exchanged places with the Sultans
