Nice spot , We used to fly fish there at night back in the days . Fish are back feeding in the sea . If you catch a bass there you'll get a big like . Bass in that side are not easy although they are there . Tight line Dougie , Season opening soon .
Hi Chris, the bobarda range are commonly known as floats although they don’t all float. They come in 3 different types one that floats, slow sinking and fast sinking. They are popular in Europe for casting very light lures or flies. I tried the sinking one a few years ago for trolling which I find works well. Cheers for watching👍
Yes good to be out mate, I think it is was a bit early for bass but you never know, cheers for your comments as always buddy. Looking forward to your n X-ray live or session which ever comes first👍 Dougie
Hi buddy, am ok mate thanks for asking. Not had much of a chance to do much fishing since lockdown was lifted. Changes to shifts at work hasn’t helped. Hopefully get back to do some fishing soon. How’s things going with you?
That would be good buddy, sorry I forgot your name? Yes mate this has surely been a depressing time for most of us, except for the fish. Hopefully it won’t be long before we can do what we love.
Subscribed and thanks for posting this. I'd never thought of trolling actual sandeels live or dead but it gives me much food for thought as to rigs etc. I found it interesting you use a sinking bombarda and trebles as I was thinking a light weight and an offset weedless hook as per used in live baiting Sandeels. I certainly like you thinking here :D
Much appreciated mate. I’ve had some cracking sea trout with this method, I use to use a 5-6gram line thru ball lead or bullet Lead with just as good results with the same leader setup. I just thought I would try the bombarda on this little session.
@@PiscatorUK-Fishing I'll. certainly be giving this a try soon off of one of my local beaches bud. I'll make a vid and post it with a mention of your channel when I do aye 👍
