Lovely cars but constant engine issues. I’ve had my sonata for a while and it’s spent more time in a shop than actually being driven. It’s unfortunate being they are so nice.
@@CarGuyYYZ yes yes I have the 2014 Hyundai sonata GLS and I’ve been had a few call backs from the company for fixs, still love my car to pieces but can be frustrating.
The Alabama made GDI engines are a disaster. they grenade very quickly from really poor quality control of the machining processes. A fully imported Korean made MPI injection engine is a far better proposition and will last a long time.

I have seen some that were well maintained that ran great. But you are right, a lot had engine problems.

I think it had a factory anti-theft system. Easy to steal? You’d have to ask a car thief 😁🤭😉
