The impact of COVID-19 on women scientists in the Western Balkans

The aim of this panel is to discuss the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on women scientists in the Western Balkans. What challenges have they faced as a result of the pandemic? Do they differ across the region and disciplines and if so, how? How has the COVID-19 crisis affected women scientists’ work and perhaps relatedly, how has it affected previously existing practices and systems in the region’s academia? These are some of the questions that will be discussed during the online panel 1.
