    Dearest Julia, I am a new subscriber to your channel, I use to run long distance back in the 80,s now I just enjoy watching other people run 😂, especially ultra runners which I seem to draw a lot of inspiration from that i apply to every day life, I love your charismatic personality,reminds me of a very close friend, I was curious as to how you can run on pavement without getting blisters? I guess you have been doing so long it toughens the skin. I also love being barefoot but for grounding purposes,anyway I really enjoy your videos, sending you much love 💜🙏🦋🕊

      Dear David, thank you so much for your message. I understand what you mean about Ultra running having life lessons in its hands - and also i understand about liking to watch people running long ditance rather than doing it!
      Yes, my feet are very tough - and i do lots of my training in skinners socks which offer a bit of protection so I'm able to run more fluidly in training than completely barefoot - but they are still close to the ground and my feet get strong! Also i've been barefoot - as well as shoes for a long time now as you say. Much love to you too 😀

      @RunWithJulia going barefoot in public places takes confidence at first I found but it just feels normal for me now 😊

    Love your positivity! I have some questions please Julia … do you do any strength training for your feet, and do you keep them calloused for protection running barefoot? What running shoes do you wear? Just wondering how you switch between shod and unshod.

      I do do strength exercises for my feet! 👣And I'll make a video to show them and answer all your questions 👍But I'll also answer here 👍My feet stay pretty tough as I've been barefoot a large part of the time all my life 👣And I run in barefoot shoes or skinners socks quite a lot - but I also easily move into racing shoes and training shoes with more support when I feel the need 😊I think my body is just used to it 🏃🏼‍♀️But I will say more when I next make a barefoot video 👍
