We have a technivorm Mocca Master for morning filter coffee. I make double expresso for the afternoon coffee, so ideally two grinders. I can see the value in the single dose for our argo coffee.
Personally, I would always do two grinders, and feel dialling in between coffees is time consuming and challenging. Something like a Baratza Encore for the filter, and Eureka or otherwise for the Espresso :)
I agree, I have an XL at home and do love it. Just super easy to use, and screen gui on point. Went though a stage of having EK43 etc at home yet the bench space it consumes is insane. Feel the small footprint of the XL makes it an unbeatable home grinder for its price.
@fizzy15, That's what I'll be looking to do as well - once the grinder arrives. Are you using Eureka's own single dose hopper from the "tilted" single dose mignon on the Oro XL? Curious about pop corning... Are you using bellow as well? (I would hate to have bellows on a $850+ grinder)
Pedro - what is that stand you use for you dosing cup to raise it up? I’m currently using the flat side of my Distributor to stand it on, but is there another specific purpose built solution?
As in what comparison would you like to see? Let me know and in time can do a follow up comparison. (these grinders live in our studio, so just a matter of finding the time to film)
Eureka single dose for 9 months. Perfect!! Easy to change type of grinds (if there is no big jumps), perfect gind all the way
So awesome! And for just espresso its perfect :)
Do have a soft spot for Eureka

Xl serve better with single dose hopper on it. Can directly grind into porta filter with push start button. Best of both world

It's actually the stand that comes as part of the Eureka Single Dose.
We don't currently carry it as a spare part, yet could look into it :)
@@CoffeePartsTV sounds good, Pedro - let’s see how the cup plays with the Atom when it arrives and I may take you up on it!
I’m struggling to hear you say “blades”, but the Eureka uses burrs, not blades, right?
Anyone actually tried to compare these two side-by-side before?

@@CoffeePartsTV perhaps he's talking about in-cup taste, flavor profile, mouth feel etc ..
