I don't know why companies feel like they need to show a competitor tool. the real competition is the previous models
Found your channel last week while looking for reviews on impact wrenches. Since then I’ve picked up seven different Milwaukee M18 tools plus a couple of packout boxes due to your reviews. Love your channel!!!
Thanks Richard we appreciate that, glad the videos are helpful! 👍🏻
The tri-lighting system is great on whatever platform. I like it on my Dewalt tools but all of them Milwaukee, DeWalt, Makita etc work pretty well.
I think I’m most excited about the Tri lights on the impact driver. I have a pretty new gen 3.5 combo kit but I might have to sell it used to help bankroll the gen 4 set 😃
I NEED all the gen 4 tools!!!
Thanks for the presentation, Vin!
Thanks Martin!
Im with you i want all 4 and the new m12 battery's do I need another drill naw but im gonna get it anyway lmao 🤣 I know there gonna be very powerful and fast wish they would have bumped the rpm on the drill to about 2400 rpm
Looking at some of these so-called competitors if you noticed they spray painted over them. Just by looking at the shapes etc. some of them were for example outdated Dewalts. There’s a reason they don’t want you to know what exact drill or Driver they are comparing it to.
Notice he held it in a way we could only see the bottom of the battery then he put it behind the piece of wood?
@@jonnyw82 yep. But in another scene you can see the side profile and you can get kind of an idea of what ones they’re using. Also they’re kickback demonstration has absolutely no relevance since they don’t show it against one of the top of the line competitors that are using high end kickback systems. In fact we have no idea what it is except for the Dewalt. Furthermore we have no idea what they were comparing it to so we don’t even know how superior or on point their system is compared to others
@@jonnyw82 also look at the battery sizes. Generally they have small ones on the competitor products
Gen4 doesn't bring performance advantages over Gen3. They've basically fixed some reliability/niggling bits such as the lights, better chucks, triggers etc
Really glad Milwaukee went w/ the Tri LED light (or even ring light, but knew was gonna be a Tri-LED Light) to “keep” up w/ every other brand. Was also happy to see the AutoStop on the Hammer Drill Driver to help save our wrists!
Now what I didn’t know or see beforehand, was the New M12 Fuel impact. Was actually surprised to see they had the Tri Light as well, and that’s so awesome!
Sure do want these new tools, but my current gen tools are still going strong and working well; but that don’t mean not gonna get and try, 😉
Only tool having issues w/ now is my m12 fuel 3/8” stubby. Starting to leak the grease inside…..but we certainly don’t “push” the tool at all😂
Thx VCG for showing us PipeLine/NPS and all the new toys for us who couldn’t be there.
Cheers my VcG Fam✌🏻
😲 thx for the information can’t wait to see them in TTR!
You and me both!
One day I'll be at these events with you all to experience the joy of seeing and handling the new tools first hand. Appreciate your content. Glad you all had a great time at the event and thanks for sharing with us. 🙂✌❤
Keep on providing value to your community and I’m sure you will. Thanks Cuz,appreciate that!
I just subbed to you I want to see you make it. Maybe one day you'll come back to this comment and say thank you 😊
Prob the last thing we need is another tooltuber going to industrywide events and spewing all the same bs.
The “comparison test” of the new hammer drill against the obvious dewalt is rigged. They put the dewalt in speed 2 so it would stall and put Milwaukee in speed 1 so it cruised threw. The only thing I like from this was the tri light on the impact. Im still sticking with my Flex stacked lithium hammer/impact. They’re crazy powerful.
I noticed that too! I was thinking in my head “No way my flexvolt advantage hammer drill doesn’t have enough power to get through that piece of wood” 😂😂
Can’t wait for the holiday deals to grab the new offerings! I’ll be watching for you to bring us the latest deals!
Thanks Jeff, hope you’re doing well!
??? I know some people might think this is ridiculous but do you think companies ever mess with the tool when it comes to the Prototype. Basically what I'm saying before they go into production let's make the Prototype a little bit better and then when they go into production go a little cheaper with the tool. Because I remember DeWalt if you purchased it from DeWalt Direct you would get a better screw gun where Home Depot the same screw gun would have plastic pieces instead of metal washers screws etc. I know it's a little bit of a ridiculous question but you never know because if you make the product look better people are going to buy it. Thanks again Vince.👍💯
I think questions like that are in a lot of peoples minds! That’s why to #ToolTuber community has to confirm through work and testing!
Yeah I think most companies do that. It seem there are huge differences in tools from the big box stores and one that looks identical from a specialty tool dealer.
They didn't "wipe" the size dimensions from the older generation of tools... They never published them on their website in the first place. A couple years back I was comparing the size specs on the M12 tools vs. some competitors, and had to find a different source for the M12's sizes.
I have the Milwaukee Gen 4 M18 and LOVE it. It's the most powerful Stubby drill you can get plus Tri-led, 4 speeds and very lightweight. Very hard to find just walking in a store and won't be on display either. Easy to find on-line. All the guys at work are jealous!!
It's nice they admitted the strength of Makitas subcompact impact, but to be fair that gun is about half a decade old, still impressive they can get that torque on 12v
Thanks for collet update, the real important stuff
Sorry for all the comments but sometimes too fast is not good either because you're going to be stripping things out. That's great that they messed with the trigger making it more sensitive but having too much power you can burn out drill bits or strip out screws if you're not careful. But wasn't impressed with some of the displays comparing tools or some of the other displays but always great to see what's new. That's why tool test is so important to get the real numbers on their new tools.
Exactly Joseph, thanks! 👍🏻
I'm sure new versions are always a bit better, but it's funny when they compare with "the competition" and act like the competitor barely works (the demo around 5 minutes, to be specific). And "the competition" does exactly the same when comparing to Milwaukee
Smoke and mirrors baby
13:43 The BPM rating is in the PDF manual on the site, its 33,000 which is 1K more than the older generation. So you have 0-500 RPM low, 0-2100 RPM high, 0-33,000 BPM, 1400 in-lbs, for the 2904-20.
All I can say is I have been using a Makita impact for the past couple of years when a new impact came out I had to know if they had fixed the collet on the m18 impact driver And the answer was yes it's fixed.
9:29 The IPM rating for the 2953-20 is 0-4,400. Its in the PDF manual online.
Great tool, you have to charge the batteries more often. Thats why i ended up just using the m18 impact.
certainly am going to have them all .. thanks Vence
TTR time!!!!! Get ready Dewalt and Flex!!!
Definitely ready!
I hope i could apply as sales agent of this amazing tools here in our country Philippines! I have a background as electronics technician!
Did the Milwaukee smoke @12:42 👀
He referenced Metallica in this video… that exactly what’s in our job site blasting in the background… can’t wait for the Gen 3, to all go on sale…
Look foward in these new gen
Fascinating Vince 🤔
Can we expect double ball bearing for the collet to fix bit slip out?
How does it work on 1/4@ steel plate,& schedule 40 carbon pipe?
I went and got the $299 2x6.0Ah battery and charger combo with a free Hammer Drill the other day. I had to go to 4 different Home Depots to locate it though. You snooze ya lose!
@VCG Construction For the next TTR, can you guys do a rematch of the new Milwaukee versus Dewalt SDS plus 1 inch rotary hammer? Or perhaps we can wait until Dewalt releases their new one, if they do.
We can do that King!
Waiting to see you test the new M18 impact driver to decide on it or Dewalt.
I just got a Gen 3 One-key hammer drill/driver 2806-20 as an upgrade from my regular gen 3 hammer drill/driver and it has the anti kickback technology.
*It's not a Gen 4
@VCG Construction does the new M12 Fuel Impact have a second ball bearing in the collet as well, or is the second ball bearing only in the M18 Fuel Impact? Thanks for all the great content!
I just wonder about the M12 FUEL 1/4" HEX IMPACT DRIVER (3453-20) compare to M12 FUEL SURGE 1/4" Hex Hydraulic Driver (2551-20)
Any news on release dates for Aus for the 18v combo? Expected this year?
They already have the double bearings in the gen 3 m18, they've updated it since 2019 bro
I just a replacement from Milwaukee
Whats the different between the percussion drill and the hammer drill?
Percussion drills are what they do at Band camp!
what's different between hammer drill and impact driver?
I need tools to drill screw into metal plate.
how to choose it?
Thanks
Milwaukee m12 handles are far too big, every other brand ditched the tube battery design because of this reason. It’s like trying drive fastener in with a scaffold pole in your hand . Plus’s they painted the competition drills grey to hide the fact that they’re old brushed models.
M18 Fuel Gen 4 Impact Driver (2953-20) IPM is 4400 and RPM is 3900; and
M12 Fuel Gen 3 Impact Driver (3453-20) IPM is 4000 and RPM is 3600
Per Milwaukee Tools.
¹ 2904-20 Gen 4 Hammer Drill Driver BPM is 33,000 and No Load RPM is: Low 0 - 500, High 0 - 2100; and peak torque is 1400 in-lbs
Hope this helps anyone curious or wondering.
Cheers✌🏻
¹ edited to add the 2904-20 info that forgot. Wanted to add this so ppl know what was changed/edited after the fact
To be honest I didn't even know you were at the event 🤔 Must have been to good to say hi
Wow I can’t believe after making you’re latest video “Featuring” yours truly that you’ve gone and become a channel member over here so you can spy on all our member exclusive content!
I’m gonna reach out and see if RUclips will revoke your access! You shouldn’t have access to all of that exclusive content! This is truly disturbing!
No wonder your content has been excellent recently! 🤔
Cease and desist!
@@VCGConstruction I actually thought I subscribed to the Mr Beast membership, so that's on me, but good video
Just today upgraded my m18 fuel impact, percussion drill etc from gen 2to gen 3 it came with 3 x 5.0 ah XC batteries…..Will the smaller 3.0 ah high out put batteries be the beer option for these drills…also I have the angle grinder, sds drill, circular saw and grass strimmer all fuel..
when are they going to be available
You can talk all day about your “Tool Test Raw” no thank you, I’ll wait for the definitive results from the “TOOL DUEL 🤺 “ Plus have you heard Claude’s Truck?????? I’m all day gonna listen and trust a man who’s truck sound like that!!! I bet Vance’s truck sounds like sizzling cheesesteaks 🤣
Save it Jinerson!!! Flint don’t want the static from a #TTR!! He’s literally scared of little kids heckling him in his own neighborhood!
PATHETIC!
P.S. the sound of sizzling cheesteaks is music to a real man’s ears!
First off Vance!!!! Those kids were a lot bigger in person than what they seemed in the video! Second, you need to get yourself some help with your cheesesteak addiction.....and third.......DONT take the anger you have for me out on my brother D. JINERSON
Likely story Flinton…
Hi, can I use an Impact driver to release a sds drill bit that’s stuck in concrete?
Sup fellow Pennsylvanians! I get kinda pissed after spending a fortune on my M18 fuel collection. I'm curious how they will do against flex?
Thank you for the video. I am having some buyer remorse. I bought the 2598-22 combo $169.99 on amazon. But these new one is more powerful and more leds. Tho, 2598-22 should be able to meets my needs and more. For home usage. hmmmmm.
are any of these available yet for purchase? Any idea when they will in stock? homedepot doesnt have stock and im switching from dewalt to milwaukee currently and dont want to end up buying the old tools when the new ones are releasing, thanks in advance.
Vin next time bring flex and dewalt to the party lml. Let’s see if they actually crush competition
That’s what I would do, each brand has their niche seriously !
When will they be release?
Dayum already got a new one out
Looks like I don't have to upgrade to the 12 volt impact as my DeWalt atomic impact is more compact. I will be getting the new 12 volt hammer drill for sure though.
The dcf840 with the powerstack weighs less and has much more power than the M12 drivers when equipped with the 6.0. You can’t be brand loyal these days. The winner is the guy who owns multiple tools
Is it me or is it that when he tested it 12 volt dewalt drill versus the waukee it feels he's doing it in speed 3 he grabbed a order model I don't know that's my opinion because I know the newest DeWalt 20 volt hammer drill can do that big of a hole in speed 2
They hide specs because it’s obviously not much different from the previous ones that already great. These “new tools” are just there to build hype and they know ppl go crazy over new power tools so they would most definitely spend more money.
I’m just saying. They never show what speed setting the tools are in.
When’s this coming to shelves ?
Release of Gen4?
Someone stole my m12 impact drive & I just bought a new one....guess I'm going to hafta add the new gen 4 one aswell
Any word on new gen surge?
does anyone know the costs for both?
How much are these Tools gonna cost?
I don't know what kind of desease i have but when milwaukee tools release new thrilling tools am out of my mind 😂
Lookin forward to the testing of Gen 4
Vince I like Milwaukee tools! Have tons of them but these demo’s were really bad..like 5th grade school project bad…actually scratch that! Even fifth graders can do better / scientific demos. 😕
What specifically did you not like about the demos? A few people had specific concerns, I’d like to know if it’s not just them!
Super Tools★★★★★
Tool guyd will give you all the specs cuz 2000 lbs 3900 rpm 4400 ipm 4.7 inch long m18 fuel gen 4 hammer drill 2100 rpm 33,000 bpm 6.9 inches long 1400"lbs
7:42 #TTR Everyone should know what a TTR is, and if not; definitely hit the subscribe & bell and just wait for an awesome fun time when watching a TTR “EVENT”…..sometimes your holding onto your seat or screaming at the screen b/c it’s that intense and FUN!
Now that’s a video that’s gonna be interesting to watch and see.
I always wish the companies would not just compare current gen tools to the new offerings; but also bring out [Their] Last Gen tools and compare them w/ the newest gen tools during these events….it does happen though, but imo, “rarely”.
💙VCG
This new m12 impact his brutal
how tall is this dude?
Can anyone tell me if you can use A Milwaukee impact drill to screw in self tapping screws or any impact driver for that matter?? I heard it's not recommended!!!
Their mode 4 on their gen 3/4 is self-tapping screw mode. So yes you are good!
Im in sheet metal and we dont use anything but impacts on self tappers
more powerful 1/4 impact is pointless. ive yet to find a socket adapter that fully handles up to my m18 one. ive broken so many adapters. and just bits.
Bosch is way ahead of your drill when comest to safety and power.
I always love the tool reviews but my question is….. Did you get your Philly cheesesteak??????? 🤣
Uno 🔦 Dos 🔦 Tres 🔦 LED lightning…
…thanks Milwaukee.
What was that bit used at 0:47
product # 48-32-4508
The new m18 fuel impact driver looks like a dewalt dcf atomic clone
I’m gonna need to put them side by side!
Nice swimming goggles.
Warranty still work if the tool ID number comes off ?
Were the phily steak??
Hey Vince
Hello Barty!
You're a Milwaukee man
No Philly cheese steaks?
I'll eat my own hat if that DW drill is not going through that wood. Those "comparisons" are rigged af. At least Milwaukee should make it less obvious lol
I love Milwaukee tools but those comparisons were a joke
The competitor drills and drivers don’t seem to be the latest generation
Y did they bite from Ridgid 3 light led stop sensor wow trashwaukee
Q precio para ecuador
All I know is my gen 3 m18 beats my coworkers DeWalt wich is only a couple of months old.
Not trying to be mean but not smart to have a name tag around your neck close to a bit drilling into anything, next thing you know the strap will catch the bit and rip the driver up to your neck
Man I'll tell ya DeWalt is killing em...but hey Milwaukee's trying though I'll give em that
Hammer drills perhaps. However, the DeWalt impact drivers aren’t in the same league as Milwaukee’s. It’s not even close, lol.
@@SouthFLTools what do you think about the DeWalt 12v extreme impact
@@cognizancecognizance8815 you referring to the impact wrench? I have heard good things about their 12v impact wrench and how powerful it is for its small size. However, I was comparing the impact drivers for the higher voltage tools, not the 12v tools.
@@SouthFLTools Dewalts impact is the shortest of all impacts with more power than milwaukee.
@@djsi38t too bad they didn’t pass on the tech to their drivers, because that’s obviously not the case in that department
Yaaaaayyyyyy 2 balls !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A pair! 👍🏻
who the "leading competitor" that seams to be useless. im finally making the switch from ryobi to hikoki and none of my obis were anywhere near that useless
Next gen surge? Next gen installation driver? That would be nice. The installation driver is the weakest drill of all time
I’m trying to see a new 6.5 inch circ and a new rear handle.
@@nbates9893 I feel ya. That’s cool stuff. Where’s their worm drive too!!!!!
10:00 “most powerful” 😂😂😂 bros don’t know about the flexvolt
So size matter 🤔🤔🤔🤔😆😆😆😆😆
