Great video I’ve got the same problem it just won’t open I think the locks ok but as I’ve covered the rear doors with carpet it’s made the doors to tight will try and prize it open
The first thing to try is pushing the door in as you pull the handle, this will take the pressure off the lock. If this doesn't work, then you'll have to get access to inside the bottom of the door, then reach in to where the cable joins the lock and pull the cable to release the lock. If the cable has come off of the lock, then you'll have to try and get pliers on the mechanism to release it. You have to get the door open to change the lock. Hope this is helpful in some way.

Sometimes pushing the door in as you pull the handle works. It takes the pressure off the lock.
You can manually push the locking mechanism back with a screw driver. Just get it on the end bit of cable and push back the door opens 😅
Can you explain this a bit more. I can’t open my door and can’t access the back of the door to take the board off

Can anyone tell me how to get the door open. I can’t get to the inside where the lock is as I can’t get the board off the door as it’s locked closed
