Jeff, be proud of your love of Tapestry!! It's my #24 because of all the reasons you mentioned and the new expansion is a lot of fun. Also I play it primarily with one friend and the two of us keep cheering the other person on. We're more interested in seeing each other get awesome combos then we are in winning.
I love how Jamie is so blown away by Jeffs picks. TM with prelude is fantastic! We actually have nice wood player mats that I think really improve the gaming experience. Thanks for your videos! My wife and I really enjoy them.
By far the most engaging Top 50 videos I’ve watched! When you get to the end it’s like wait we are done?!? This has happened twice now where I’m like wait noooooo it’s over??
Happy for Cubitos making the list, one of our favorite push-your-luck/racing games. I think it is still very underrated and flew under the radar most of the year, only picking up some pace more recently.
I got to play Silver Amulet and you're right, it's a fantastic game! It is a lot like a card (regular deck of cards) game I played a lot growing up called Golf. Simple, quick to teach, fast to play, but keeps you coming back. Great recommendation!
LOTR Confrontation has remained one of my favourite 2p games after many years and dozens of plays. Soooo easy to jump into! I've seen lots of hype about these Silver games - would love to see what that one's all about!
Cubitos and The Initiative are my next two Must-Get games to add to my collection this year. I'm trying to slow down my game buying, but it's tough when there are so many amazing games. Loving the countdown!
So once again, I am twins with Jamie, and LOVE all the games on her list, except Merchants Cove which is just game I haven't played yet. JEFF. You have so many that I just haven't played, but I know I need to. Particularly Innovation and Roll Player. Gotta try them soon! Great vid as always! :)
@@FostertheMeeple I accidentally rewatched your 50-41 video and still wish I felt the same way about dino world/island as you two! We backed both and stopped midway through our 1st play of dinoworld because it felt like the elements of the original game took a back seat to the movement/activating/boredom mitigation stuff. It was certainly more streamlined but felt like a different game design shoehorned into the Dino Island theme. Had to sell my copy with all its beautiful dino meeples 😭

It would be nice activity, after whole top 50 or after each section of 10 games there would be a poll for subscribers to vote which lists they would choose for themselves ;D Interested to see your top 10.

Awesome. I don't think I've seen a better top of all time in terms of quality. I've only played JOTL in your entire lists so far but that was the first game I played solo. It might be my favority game now that I think about it. I need to go back to it.
Hey!! Appreciate that a lot!! Happy you enjoyed the video. Yea we might return to it this year and play as the other two characters, but we have a lot of other campaign games to get to!
Jeff, I’ve really enjoyed terraforming Mars solo, it changes your priorities , but it works pretty well. Definitely get prelude. I also agree that innovation needs more love. It is one weird card game, and one I’d like to play more.
Roll Player is excelllent. Just look at that box art. I call it a better themed Sagrada. I too picked up Roll Player Adventures. I’m afraid to open the 17lb box and start the journey. Looking forward to the rest of your list.
Lord of the Rings: Confrontation is amazing and it just gets better as you play multiple times against the same person. You learn each other's strategies, then try to bluff, identify each other's bluffs, it's great
Kingdomino is a good one. We recently picked it up and is one my kids have enjoyed playing with us. I gifted my crazy cat lady wife Calico this past Christmas. It's her new favorite game. She has been pretty persistent about asking for a new one since we've started playing though. I've stayed strong so far!
Nice list. Most of those games I have yet to play. Ghost Stores!! Awesome game. And if you play Roll Player with one of the expansions, it’ll move higher up on your list.
Great lists! Love watching all your videos! I just got Radlands and can’t wait to play it. Ghost Stories, while not for everyone, is fun to play! Do you have the Whitemoon expansion? I want to get it but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. My partner and I have been playing Cabo. She is a light gamer and really likes it. So I just bought Silver Bullet, because of you guys, and think it is the next step up from Cabo! Thanks for a great channel! ❤️
Great lists! My most played game and my favorite one of this section is - without a doubt - *Kingdomino*. This is for me the king of gateway/light family games: it's incredibly easy to teach (even with the expansion), has smooth and quick turns, a great balance between strategy & tactics, a welcoming and cute look on the table and an amazing ratio accesibility/depth. A modern classic. The new version (KD origins) adds some nice little twists on the recipe, and an interesting extra layer of puzzle (with the 3rd mode), while keeping the same vibe. I like to alternate the two depending on my mood and the people I play with. There are three games I adore on Jamie's list (MicroMacro [I've finished the 1 & 2 ; a great 2-player activity/game], Kingdomino & Empires of the North) and three on Jeff's list (Roll player [like Jamie, I can spend hours creating a character for a video game I will rarely play xD... and this one gives you this feeling + a great puzzle with dice ; the first expansion is a must-have though], Ghost Stories & Black Angel). But I am leaning a little bit more toward Team Jamie this time around, since she also has on her list "Gloomhaven JOTL", one of my favorite solo game, and "LOTR: the confrontation", that I just bought yesterday and really want to try! Radlands and Land Vs Sea are games I definitely need to get hold of, they look awesome! ^^
