Let's be honest, I think Nintendo (and Sony and Microsoft) missed the bus on this one. When emulation first started, it was more of a "let's see if we can do this" type of experiment. Well what do you know, it worked! Emulation has been growing ever since, and that growth is a clear indicator that regardless of the shiny new games that are continuing to come onto the market, people still want to play old games. Then it seems as though Nintendo experimented and released NES and SNES Classic, and what do you know, they were extremely popular. As Nintendo usually does, they screwed that one up by not having enough inventory and the scalpers ruined it for many, but there was definite legit demand. The problem is that these companies are sitting on a cash cow that they refuse to acknowledge, and now they've missed the bus by staring out the window at it and not getting on board, and all they can do is cry about it. If Nintendo had provided a legal and legit way to obtain and play these older games when the demand first became evident, AND did it correctly (reasonable prices, large inventory of games) they would have had a continual revenue stream. Instead, we got a drip feed, with no choice in the matter and frankly complete disregard for the games fans actually want. The online versions through Nintendo's service could be absolutely great, and completely in Nintendo's power (excuse the pun) to make the platform better and better, and the price is actually reasonable, but the game collection is lacking. Fans are going to find a way to get what they want.

I checked out the Delta Emulator over the weekend and was impressed how simple it was. I've been emulating for years but this is really convenient and takes no skill. Emulation is not illegal and is needed for game preservation.
Listen Nintendo, I understand that emulators and roms are your BIGGEST pet peeves, but you’ve gotta understand about why it’s a big deal for us gamers. Us gamers, rom hackers, and emulation users, are trying to find different ways to save a TON of money from trying to find and buy physical copies of the games and their respective hardware. Even if you don’t make games for like Nes, snes, gameboy, and other old school consoles anymore. We’re still gonna find ways to persevere them, and keep video game history alive.
can't do anything about emulation. it would be like record labels being mad at apple for the Apple Music app playing mp3s from a friend. or being mad that VLC can play pirated movies. or that a backpack can be used to take things from a store. lol
Nintendo have been way to slow to react to this. As some people have said, if they made all these games available to buy for a couple of bucks each I would definitely get in to that but they haven’t. It’s a massive wake up call to Playstation and their old systems back catalogue. If the Roms that people are sourcing from online are derived from someone having purchased the game, provided the person is not making a profit, isn’t it just sharing digital content?
I love it, Nintendo has been pulling crap for years. From trying to sue Blockbuster Video for renting Nintendo games, to trying to cancel content creators that were doing nothing wrong but being fans of Nintendo. This looks good on them and I'm glad that apple is doing it. Nintendo will have a hard time, trying to bully Apple like they have some smaller companies.
Honestly that’s Nintendo’s fault for not dropping these games earlier on Switch. People have been asking for this from Nintendo since VC on Wii. If you’re not gonna please the customer someone else will. Delta is satisfying the customer and destroying the excitement Nintendo could have been gave to the buyer.
I’ve always said if nintendo would put out their own versions of old games on mobile they would make hand over fist without having to do much work since emulation technology is already there like it would be so easy to go “hey we’ll sell Pokemon Emerald on mobile for $7.99” and people would buy it
When I saw the hate and stuff for Yasuke, I was wondering why they went with a black guy as the character. So I looked it up and seems he is based on a Japanese folk lore character. So yeah I can see where they are coming from. So yeah I have no issues with him as a character.
Emulators are like grey hairs. Pull one and 5 more grows in it's place. Eventually, Nintendo is just going to have a head full of grey hairs from all the stress from this.
Again, I’d gladly pay for old Nintendo games. But if they don’t want to give us the option, then I’m ok with people pirating it. No ones losing any money anyway because there’s no way to actually pay for it. And even if you buy it on the resale market, Nintendo still doesn’t make a penny. So it literally harms nobody.
My bet is that all Nintendo needs to do is file suit against Apple and Apple will take it down. Apple just needs cover for additional anti-trust claims. If they can point to a lawsuit, regardless of the merits, that will give them cover to remove the app (at least that’s my guess)
Nintendo should be pissed at EU instead of apple because I'm pretty sure if the EU didn't mess with apple in the first place about things of sideloading delta wouldn't make it to be in the appstore because delta have several years old and now is avaliable in the appstore instead of having to sideloading it like before.
Apple going back to 90’s when they allowed PlayStation emulator on Mac Sony freaked it was the current system and Steve even did a presentation bragging about it. This went to court, and the emulator was allowed. But what end up happening was Sony bought the emulator shoveled it. The guy who created it went onto work for Microsoft. 🤣🤷♂️ Curious why you guys haven’t mentioned if the mig cart had an influence on the switch delay
Let’s think about this; Nintendo just took down a huge emulator, they’ve historically collaborated on official iOS games with Apple, and now it seems Apple is disregarding their business partners’ battle against ROMs.. I smell something big coming from Apple and Nintendo especially with Apples massive announcements later this year AND Nintendo being one of the best selling developers in the App Store.
I also found it funny how Nintendo released that April Fool’s VR commercial when one of their partners is already ahead with the Apple Vision Pro (hint hint) .. Just more to think about.
I’ve been using Delta for years at this point. I’m just glad I don’t have to go through the convoluted side-loading method that requires you to resign the apps using a computer every 7 days anymore in order to use it
All of the emulators that have come out to play these games work perfectly fine on a PC. The games I have purchased and dumped to my PC work with no issue. I think Nintendo was too late in stopping emulation, especially on the Switch.
Nintendo is not doing anything with any emulators elsewhere, just Suyu and the siwtch emulation, and they have evidence that sdk has been used and authors have been possibly sharing roms etc, this is not the case for this new one.

No. It's Skin Law Abiders West 1990.
"It's Official: Nintendo IS..."
... Is it though? I dunno. It's a safe ASSUMPTION that they're pissed, based on their track record, but I don't know if I'd say "It's Official", considering there's been no word from Nintendo or leaks to show they're taking action.
Kinda just comes across as clickbait.
I've been emulating games since the early 2000's lol...
It’s giving a chance for people to play games that are sold at crazy prices like Soulsilver, and the Zelda in the vintage market
The king of Nintendo RUclipsrs speaks again.
Nah, he’s the king of waffle 🤣🤣
Nintendo can piss off 😁. These games are old and has no value anymore
Hoping for RetroArch and PPSSPP next fingers crossed.
I’ve been playing Pokémon red and it’s been great. Games like Pokémon that do not require a lot of precise button pressing are great.
Delta is an awesome app.
I love the idea of nintendo suing apple and losing in glorious fashion. They simply can’t match apple’s lawyers.
I hope this happens. I would love to see Nintendo fail so hard!
I checked out the Delta Emulator over the weekend and was impressed how simple it was. I've been emulating for years but this is really convenient and takes no skill. Emulation is not illegal and is needed for game preservation.
Because those are slow people. 😅😂
i was able to replay memories from early childhood on delta that i had never thought id see the day i played again
never forget - steve jobs COMMERCIALLY emulated PS1 games on the Mac
they might lose a couple hundred dollars, something really detrimental to a multi billion industry defining corporation 😢
"It's Official: Nintendo Is PISSED." Translation: It's not official, Nintendo has said nothing.
Nintendo can’t sue us all for downloading the app. Just leave us be Nintendo!!
Apple be like: U mad Bro?
Nintendo: *TRIGGERED*
When is Apple not pissed at someone
That's what I was thinking, both companies are the same really
Listen Nintendo, I understand that emulators and roms are your BIGGEST pet peeves, but you’ve gotta understand about why it’s a big deal for us gamers. Us gamers, rom hackers, and emulation users, are trying to find different ways to save a TON of money from trying to find and buy physical copies of the games and their respective hardware. Even if you don’t make games for like Nes, snes, gameboy, and other old school consoles anymore. We’re still gonna find ways to persevere them, and keep video game history alive.
Lets see if nintendo has the balls to sue apple, they only bully the smaller guys so now i want to see them againts a bigger company than they are.
If they bully Apple, Apple will bully them back.
can't do anything about emulation. it would be like record labels being mad at apple for the Apple Music app playing mp3s from a friend. or being mad that VLC can play pirated movies. or that a backpack can be used to take things from a store. lol
Would like more emulation videos how to set up and make them look better. Optimizing them and everything pls
He said teste
I love it, Nintendo has been pulling crap for years. From trying to sue Blockbuster Video for renting Nintendo games, to trying to cancel content creators that were doing nothing wrong but being fans of Nintendo.
This looks good on them and I'm glad that apple is doing it. Nintendo will have a hard time, trying to bully Apple like they have some smaller companies.
*Thanks for 0 like and 1 subscriber* ..
I can’t believe how good this app runs. This is next level gaming.
Give this man his 500k subscribers
Honestly that’s Nintendo’s fault for not dropping these games earlier on Switch. People have been asking for this from Nintendo since VC on Wii. If you’re not gonna please the customer someone else will. Delta is satisfying the customer and destroying the excitement Nintendo could have been gave to the buyer.
Nintendo should just release a Nintendo launcher for PC, id buy games from it, actually id rather buy games from it.
Nintendo can shove it. They drip feed garbage games on their awful online subscription. 70 games and counting on Delta ✌🏼
They haven't said a single thing about this RGT made it up so he can buy groceries.
Nintendo: _pissed at Apple for allowing emulators_
Also Nintendo: _hasn't yet gone after Google for never having a rule against emulators_
My bet is that all Nintendo needs to do is file suit against Apple and Apple will take it down. Apple just needs cover for additional anti-trust claims. If they can point to a lawsuit, regardless of the merits, that will give them cover to remove the app (at least that’s my guess)
From "It's Official!" to "I definitely think..." lol
Nintendo can be pissed off all they want. It’s EU law/EU policy. Which is why Apple is allowing these apps to be available
why is this app not available in Europe?
Please please please leave the website that is being shown in that VR video out of it. It’s too valuable and the last of a dying breed
Vimms is so absurdly slow
@@Goodgamer78 good. It discourages people from recommending it.
Was able to play white version for the first time. I would honestly have no problem paying for it but Nintendo refuses to re release old Pokémon games
Curious why you guys haven’t mentioned if the mig cart had an influence on the switch delay
Pretty sure they have mentioned the mig switch possibly being part of the delay in a previous video
They dont like emulators, but they dont make their older games more accessible themselves.
Poor Nintendo. How will they feed their children with people playing 8 and 16 bit games on their phones.
Nintendo’s angry because more people can play Mother 3 in English now
I’ve been using Delta for years at this point.
Nintendo needs to increase the size of their digital library. I hate they hold back on releases.
I tried NSO for a year. Not worth it. I cancelled my subscription. The final straw was the bad controls on Jet Force Gemini
Nintendo is not doing anything with any emulators elsewhere, just Suyu and the siwtch emulation, and they have evidence that sdk has been used and authors have been possibly sharing roms etc, this is not the case for this new one.
