THANK YOU! Alda has always spoken directly to my soul, and having listened to all their stuff on repeat for years made me receive this almost as a gift and a relief. I need this in my physical collection, where passage and tahoma already sit. Greetings from Colombia!
They get better album by album. This record is a pure Masterpiece and you know exactly what i'm Tolkien about. It's amazed me how cool this band is again. Keep the strong roots and do anything what you want, you cannae do mistakes in my opinion. I totally adore the New Alda album. Congrats guys! 🍻🐺
*Yes! This is what I have been waiting for for months! Finally!* And I just ACCIDENTALLY opened my home page and saw this as recommended! I'm in the first 500 listeners! :)))
Yeah man, this is cool. To me, it has a similar vibe to Passage but harks back to their self-titled, with dimensions that are new. Alda, if you guys see these comments (hope you do, lots of positivity!!!) keep it up. Definitely doing your own thing here and doing it well.
as others have said, truly a triumphant and powerful album! so many memorable and beautiful moments throughout, and awesome art. Instantly one of my favorites!
Magnificent Album! Finally it's here. An exelent work charged with enegy and a memorable atmosphere. One of the best releases of 2021. Infinite thanks to Alda and Eisenwald!
In Black Metal there are few countries that have best black metal scenes- Norway, Sweden, Finland are definitely the best( i must say , Norway and Finland have about 5 millions of people each, Sweden 10 millions. After these countries are Greece, Poland, France, Germany, Ukraine, Russia and then USA and Canada( especially Quebec), but that's just my opinion , the matter of taste for you are maybe US bands the best, someone will argue that Brazil, Mexico and Colombia are unjustly underrated when they really have crazy underground scenes. Fenriz from Darkthrone said when they were beginning, 1991,there were only norwegian, swedish and greek black metal schools
@@Mors_Atra_ Hmmm, maybe but Ridgeway usually left bodies in or near Green River. Bundy on the other hand dropped them off on the N. Part of Taylor Mountain. They also reside closer to Rainier, so you might want to find a killer closer to the mountain to discover the true killer!

@@franzlwang3253 nah man its bad gear. first mayhem album sounds fucking great and was recorded in one of the best if not the best studios in norway. this is just bad mixing. ive seen them live they own decent equipment and are good musicians.
I don't know how to explain this without coming of as pretentious but one of the goals of black metal is to escape the commercial cycle of highly polish studio music. By avoiding the trap most popular music gets caught in, a cycle of commodification based on record labels, album charts and audio mastering, music like this escaped from an entropic cycle. Yes, it's not perfect, but it's true to the artists who made it without the complications of excessive processing. It retains raw energy the same way the music of Bathory, Burzum, Summoning and other relatively non-commercial artists do. The focus is on the music, not on the production.
I do wish that people would stop with the stupid genre classifications, like 'Cascadian Black Metal'. This is Black Metal (ok, we can say with folk elements, that's fine) and it's very, very good black metal.
Well, agreed. The point here is not to confuse people, point being is that Cascadian Black Metal is not just a sub, micro whatever genre, it is more of an area-based, geological trademark. And most of the bands from that area share and appreciate similar things, or have them reflected with their music, like nature, wilderness, folk-ish elements, atmosphere, also a certain rawness you could say. There is some sort of usual sound you can expect. So if you read this little info about CBM, you can be pointed in the right direction as a listener as this really is sort of precise info on what to expect. Much more refined as, for example, saying Black Metal.
I want to know what I'm listening to and what bands sound similar to that if I want more to it. I like these classifications, because they help me to find more music with the stuff I like in it.

ShoegazeBlackmetal.🔥🔥
If anything, we can see some sort of "post-rock" in there, just nothing "shoegaze" like, to rugged, gnarly, rustic, folky with Alda :)
That would be Chrome Division or even the newest Deafheaven (who was always more screamo)
Me sigue pareciendo el sonido de la bateria sin un buen sonido pero mi opinión , sobretodo en las partes rapidas
wish drums would have a more clear sound, they are great if a bit muffled
They are mossy, hidden in the wilderness, just as the cover :)
