it gives me the old uada vibes but more melodic ,harsher but satisfying howling vocals ,which I'm all for it, excellent production as always , hail the hunted
Great album man, pretty solid all around, dark and heavy all the time, amazing riffs, great vocals. It's everything you could expect and beyond from UADA, so talented musicians. This new album rules, don't compare with previous albums man, it's just a different time. This one is just Fn great.
Great album. Really feeling the last track "Through the Wax and Through the Wane", last part especially: "Through the wax and through the wane life's greatest teacher is always pain The odysseys of you and me it is ourselves we must reclaim And to remain without disdain seek higher ground: a new terrain So close the eyes and visualize for there is only knowledge left to gain"
It's no surprise that Jake superchi excels at producing songs. I'm addicted to all of his albums . Other bands disappoint me by repeating songs or the same singing and melodies. They make me listen to the old album because it is better
Album artwork is spot on and reminiscent of the previous three releases. Yet another piece of fine work, added with some of the best riffs I've heard this year so far 💥🔥
In 2017 I had a strange dream, gray and purple colors every where, and when I looked up to the sky I saw a red moon melting, I had searching for a image that could fit with the dream, after years searching, I found an image and tattooed in my neck, The crazy thing about this is that the Uada emblem is exactly the same moon that I saw in my dream many years ago.
I don't know.... after the third listen and with lifetime love for the Cult of Dying Sun, I will listen again with a some time distance, the first song is chosen unluckily, if it had been in a different place on the album, it would have been different, but still, thanks for new work guys, fingers crossed for You! Good luck with your music! Be creative still, be like a pack of sharks, You know, when You stop, You will drown !
Already got my pre-order & already am beyond astounded 🔥🔥🔥!! An epic in only 43 minutes, five songs, each one taking me on an enlightening journey through diverse riffs & emotions: powerful drums by Josh Lovejoy, the incredible bass by Nate Verschoor stronger in the mix than ever, beautifully crafted twin guitar harmonies layered over insane rhythms, a wide range of heart-wrenching vocals by Jake Superchi from howls to growls to deep haunting chanting 💥🎶!!! After some abrupt endings that jar you in the first engaging half of the album, the last two songs settle in with cosmic awe that leaves you wanting even more 🖤💯. Album closer "Through the Wax and Through the Wane" is perfect in every sense, especially the words touching my soul in this dark time of my life, re-energizing me & granting me once again the knowledge that I've always possessed: that this is a time to reflect & heal, the dark moon always rising to fullness again. Thank you, Uada, for this marvelous gift 💗💗💗.
WOW…just came across this band. Been listening since the 90’s to the good old Norwegian Black Metal à la Emperor, Dark Funeral, Dimmu etc. This band is freakin’ awesome 🤘🏻🖤
This album fucks my brain so much. Well done Guys. As i say it before. More Compact Songs suits better to UADA. I personally hate it when bands use one Riff/Melodies for minutes and make the Song longer that it must be. As you can see in the last track. Thats bores me. The perfect UADA Songs take 7- 8 minutes. Anyway, the best since their first. As many say. Old UADA Vibes, but more melodic and playful but at the same time harsher then the last 2 records. You can stay like this Guys! Very good record. Happy when my Vinyl arrives. \m/
Took me 6 months to finally give this a shot, as i was taking sort of a break from BM, and i gotta say, i feel like this is their best one yet. Every song is awesome and feels grand. Both the instrumentation and vocals are performed in high quality, and the composition is on point. Wish it was possible for me to buy a CD of this one without paying a fuck-ton of money for shipping.
"Gazing into the abbys with the intensity of a madman Desperately awaiting the day it looks back" ~ Mgła, Futher Down The Nest I Now at last the Abyss gazed back, Great Album
Finally! 🤘🏻 Edit: Just listening it for the first time. Other than some of the comments i find it pretty good! I like the raw sound and there are plenty of awesome riffs
Ok, time to finally check out this album :)
