In 2016 I went to hospital for what I thought was a heart attack..a family member had died and I felt horrible..
Dr ran test and found I have gallstones...I have no pain and am living with them...I am doing keto
And doing fine..praying they will not get worse...

So you haven't been having attacks, was it just that one time? :O That's good to hear because having those attacks consistently is so draining or painful! Best of luck that it was just a one time thing. Were you fasting at all before that time, I think fasting hardcore is what led to mine.

Sad to hear your issues, but I can relate. My entire family (Grandmother, mom, aunts, cousins, uncles, etc). have had gall stones and their gallbladders removed. I believe I was genetically predisposed. I am a 53yr old man and suffered from gallstones since my early 20s and I got tired of the fear of an attack at any time, so I decided about 20 yrs ago to do the surgery, no problems ever since. It was not bad at all compared to the procedure in the 70s. They now do it laparoscopically with a few incisions and remove the gallbladder through you belly button. It is also the 2nd most performed surgery in the USA after c-sections. I did try several cleanses and homeopathic remedies prior to surgery with no success, including an oral epson salt cleanse and grapefruit juice.
    Best wishes to you!

Well done and thank you Peetieee. I have gallstones as well as of September 2022. I want to hear of other peoples journey to live with gallstones like yourself. I have chosen to keep my gallbladder. it is a steep learning curve as expected. Once or twice I strongly considered giving up and removing my gallbladder. It was the acute spasm pain moments and I take Buscopan a prescribed medication and use it in these situations. I've continued on as I have noticed it is certain foods that I'll binge eat and wham the spasm pain is on.
I'll continue now listening to your journey and once again it is much appreciated hearing from others with gallstones and the choice to live on and keep the gallbladder. Kia piki te ora ki a koe (good health to you).

So glad i found your video! Yes it seems like everyone is just like "girl, get your gallbladder out!", but i am scared to death of surgery...lol 😬 I did a lot of research as well & i agree with the person who posted about Dr. Berg's advice to keep eating fat & that a lot of people make it worse when they try to cut out fat & then the bile just sits there & hardens into stones because our gallbladder only uses it to break down fats. Honestly mine started last year- just thought i was having a terrible gas attack the first few times. I tend to eat a LOT of junk food & when i do (like all day long) i would go to bed at night & around midnight wake up with excruciating pain that would last about 3 hours & then go away just like it was never there. I started Keto/Intermittent Fasting/Low Carb & hardly ever had any issues except when i would have a cheat day & eat lots of junk again the whole day. This year i have had a few attacks- some so bad i thought i'd pass out- those hit me after a cheat meal like maybe within 30 minutes after the meal- hit hard & felt like i was gonna die from the pain, but then went away in maybe 15-20 minutes. I started drinking Apple Cider Vinegar 2tsp in a glass of water with lemon & a few drops of liquid Splenda & it seems to help as well preventatively- even when i am eating pizza or other junk food. I am always looking for any other tips because i don't want to get my gallbladder out either unless i have to. Today as i am typing this my right side feels annoyed, but not in pain- havent eaten anything yet today, but i went ahead & drank some ACV & hope that it helps it to just feel better. I hope all goes well for you & everyone else going through this pain 🤗❤

    • @Lifeofloops
      @Lifeofloops  4 года назад +6

Hi! :) Yeah it sucks! I tried the ACV and I'm a baby and hate the taste but a few times have had bad attacks and tried it to hopefully get rid of the pain and it never worked for me and I was more annoyed since I hate the taste and it didn't help lol. Honestly, I have been taking Chanca Piedra now for months and thankfully haven't had an attack for a while since like maybe January so I think it's working or if anything at least breaking up my stones to where they aren't causing trouble right now. Yes, I eat bad and was eating bad until I started having attacks or when I have an attack I will like not eat anything except can chicken soup with rice for a few weeks because I get scared of eating after attacks lol. I don't want to get mine removed either if I don't have to. My mom got hers removed last year and she has trouble with digestion still and says she feels uncomfortable after eating most days and I would hate to still be dealing with probs even after removing an organ.

I experimented a few days ago and ate only 2 teaspoons of guacamole and I had some pain because avocados are very high in fat. Good or bad fat is a “no” for me. I read labels so I look for foods with almost no fat or very, very low fat and also no cholesterol. This diet is making the difference for me. The bad thing about not eating any fat at all is that your gallstones will not have any bile production to be pushed into the gall bladder. So what happens is that all your gallstones just sits in the gallbladder to slowly form up through time. It's better to eat some healthy fats and take apple cider vinegar with ox bile to stimulate the bile going into the gallbladder so that it can try to dissolve the gallstones partially through time.

    • @allnighterist

    • @Fear.of.the.Dark.
      @Fear.of.the.Dark. 8 месяцев назад

@@coolgamers2794 yeah no fat eating will just make the bile sit around more. The stones will get worse. If you have symptomatic gallbladder issues, your gallbladder is done for. You can delay the surgery but one day it will hit you hard enough to do an emergency surgery when you get to old age and that will not be fun if you also have other complications like infections or stones getting blocked in bile duct and damaging pancreas and liver. I know 2 people in my circle who died in their 60s because they delayed the surgery for many years. Their gallbladder became gangrenous over multiple years of chronic inflammation.

Thank you for posting! I've always wanted to post videos, but I don't have the guts to lol. How are you doing now? I haven't had these GB attacks you all speak of, but I have been having an annoying pain in my upper right abdomen. It all started while I was pregnant a year and a half ago. Ever since then the pain comes and goes but it's not severe or anything. Fast forward to this past January 2022... I ended up getting covid and 3 weeks after that the pain became a bit more severe in the same spot but also on my back. Then I started getting a pain in my lower right abdomen. I also have had other symptoms (sorry if it's TMI) but my stool has been lighter in color. I went to the doctor and after a normal few bloodwork tests and ultrasounds, they finally ordered me a CT scan that revealed gallstones and appendicitis 🙄 that's where I'm at right now. They gave me these strong antibiotics for the appendicitis that I'm currently almost done with, but they made it seem like the gallstones weren't a big deal. I'm just curious how you are doing now and if you have discovered any new remedies/treatments to help you? I would like to get rid of my stones without surgery 😫 oh and you are beautiful btw!😊

As of now (hopefully I don’t jinx it) I haven’t had any more GB attacks. Honestly, I really think those Chanca Piedra pills worked at least for me. I don’t know if they work for everyone but that’s the only thing I was consistent with is taking those and I am assuming (I’m not a doctor though lol) that they broke my stones enough where they just don’t cause issues. I also think my stones got worse (worse where they started causing attacks) when I was doing these apple fasts a lot and I don’t fast anymore haha. I learned my lesson.
      Bless your heart!

@@vitd5283 Honestly I don't remember the exact period I did it for I just remember I was doing my fasts for 1-3 days usually like every couple of weeks for a couple of months. I thought they took a long time to form but I thought I read somewhere that they could bigger and that they grow so much every year usually. So I thought if I had some maybe when I was fasting hardcore, the extra cholesterol was making the stones I already had bigger and then they became a prob. Just a guess though, I'm not a doctor 🥴😳
I did find this info on this website which I didn't check the sources so not sure if the credibility is 100...
      wakegastro.com/patient-info/patient-education/gallstones/
However, other factors that contribute to gallstones have been identified, especially for cholesterol stones:
Rapid weight loss. As the body metabolizes fat during rapid weight loss, it causes the liver to secrete extra cholesterol into bile, which can cause gallstones.
Fasting. Fasting decreases gallbladder movement, causing the bile to become overconcentrated with cholesterol, which can lead to gallstones.
I was doing both, those apple fasts were making me lose weight pretty fast. That was the only thing that I could pin point in my life before I had any GB issues. :(
I'm not 100% positive but if I had to guess that is what made me start having gallbladder attacks.

Also take berberis vulgaris 20 drops 4 times a day in half a cup water. Water temp must be mild.
      Medicine I recommended is homeopathy.
Atleast take it for 2 months and you realise in meantime that your stones are crushing and exceting through pee.

The only other remedies I tried which didn't help at all was Apple Cider Vinegar (barf, so gross and it didn't help me), I tried lemon with water, a bunch of water alone, taking a hot shower, and a heating pad but that none really helped. I was unable to lay down when I would have attacks. I would just do these weird stretches with my door lollll and pace around my room until it was over. I do think what caused mine was these crazy apple fasts I did for a while before I started having attacks.

But I've heard of some people who take those after having their GB removed, I think you take them with food and it basically replaces the function the GB did with digestion and the bile or something like. I saw your comment further down about a month ago that you haven't had more attacks since around the time of this video. Glad to hear you are doing better. I just had the first attack that was really painful for me to notice last week, I'm not really sure if I had other minor ones or not. I really do not want surgery. Do you still take supplements? Would you mind posting links or the names of the ones that helped you? Are you able to eat more foods you enjoy? I do intermittent fasting and eat usually just 1x per day, some times longer fasts. But when I do eat I want to really enjoy the food. My hubby and I both do the fasting together. We do eat a lot of fast food and pizza both before and after starting intermittent fasting. Even the "healthier food" of steak and salad sounds dangerous for the gallstones/gallbladder issues.

I don't take the supplements anymore. Once I noticed I wasn't having any more attacks I stopped taking them. Of course, at first I was taking capsule ones but I noticed some of the capsules were misshaped and looked sharp and didn't want to continue taking capsules because that made me uncomfortable and switched to just tablet form.
      I'll link both. :)
      Capsule link:

      www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071KR997R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Once you start having them, eating anything even a little unhealthy is so scary! I don't miss those days. :(
Honestly, I haven't had any more attacks, I don't take the supplements, and these last couple of years I have been eating how I ate before I ever started having attacks. The only thing I haven't tried is tuna sandwiches and not because I think they will give me an attack but I just remember one bad attack that I thought was caused by tuna sandwiches so I'm still bitter at tuna and they just have this negative vibe now for me 😂
I hope you have the same luck as me if you end up trying them. I would run it by your doctor first because I'm not a doctor. I just wanted to share my experience. :)
I know the other thing I read about that I was going to try if the pills didn't work after a few months was the flush that I think "Andreas Moritz" recommends. Thankfully, the pills worked for me so I didn't have to try anything else.

I’m currently dealing with GB and liver issues! I’ve had three attacks since August. I finally broke down and went to my doctor and my blood tests came back with elevated liver enzymes. I’m not heavily over weight nor do I eat a lot of fatty foods. It’s so weird. I had an ultrasound last week and I’m waiting for those results. I feel your pain!!!

I haven’t done the liver/gallbladder flush myself but a lot of people have done it and swear by it. You should read the book by I think Andrea Moritz. I stopped having GB attacks and havent had any in over a year. I took some Chanca Piedra supplements everyday for a few months while not eating foods that were causing me attacks and I personally think that helped. I stopped having attacks so haven’t been taking the supplements anymore and also have been eating fatty foods again and haven’t had attacks. (Knock on wood) 😳

I'm so glad you posted this video... Thank you.. I'm in same position as you. Have you tried the gallbladder flush? There are so many people who posted about it. Do you plan on removing your gallbladder? I really don't want to take out my gallbladder. :( It's so shocking that thats the only solution doctors have for us after 1000s of years of medical system. What a shame...

    • @Lifeofloops

Honestly, I have been wanting to do the flush. First, my school schedule was the whole week and so I was waiting until I didn't have anything to do in case the side effects lol lasted longer than it says in the flush...but now with the whole COVID-19 thing I'm going to wait to try it longer bc I've read some people have had negative responses to it and have had to go to the hospital and I would hate to be one of those people and have to go to the hospital right now with the whole pandemic thing going on lol. For now though, I have been pretty successful with those stone breaker pills and taking the bile acids after I eat heavy foods *knock on wood*...I think once this pandemic blows over I am going to for sure do the flush as many times as possible (hopefully it's successful) and once I don't see stones I plan on making an appointment with a gallbladder specialist to see if my gallstones are less since doing the flushes and taking those pills and depending on that....if they still see stones then I might just get it removed because I hate living like this where I'm constantly afraid to eat sometimes after having an attack.

@@Lifeofloops Same concerns/worries here... I'm going through the same thing as you. Right now I get intermittent pain under my right rib and back and feels like something moving inside like bubbling. lol... This is my 3rd time around so far. First attack happened 3 months back after eating pizza then again when I had pizza a month ago and now few days ago it started again.
God knows what's going on inside me. I just hope it doesn't block ducts inside me. I think one way to know if there's any bile duct block is if you start having pale stools and dark urine with yellowing of your skin. Then we are in big trouble. As that can also lead to acute Gallstone Pancreatitis... :( That's a big medical emergency.
I don't want to go get US right now cuz of the pandemic. I don't want to end up with the virus along with this problem. I have been researching for few days and came across few people who regretted taking out their gallbladder since now they have more things to worry about. Also, they say once you take out your gallbladder that doesn't mean you won't get any more stones. You are likely to get LIVER STONES after cholecystectomy... so then what? Are we going to remove our liver too?
God... just so frustrated with no other treatment for this from the medical community besides taking out our organs and creating more problems.

@@Lifeofloops I just bought malic acid (found in green apples) from Walmart which is claimed to make gallstones soft. So I take that and it seems to reduce my gallbladder pain after it starts. Is chanca piedra helpful, how much are you taking? Which other supplements are you taking? Bile salts from where? I'm about to buy it after I research it on ncbi.
Here's what I found from other users of Chanca Piedra:
Chanca Piedra will disolve gall stones, but it takes time.
I had gall stones about 6 years ago, and my Dr wanted to operate.
I used Chanca Piedra for kidney stones years before, so refused.
It took about 4 months to completely eliminate them.
They came back two months ago.
I should have taken a maintenance dose.
I take 6 a day for the first month then 3 a day.
If you're having a lot of pain, the duct may be completely plugged.
The gallbladder could also be infected.
In either case you need to see your Dr.
his stuff works for both kidney stones and gall stones. I take it before bed and in the morning you can see the sediment from the breakdown of the stones. Yes i said stones. I produce them regularly. They found a gallstone the last time i went to the ER for stone. Was gone when I had a ultrasound before going on a trip. Yeah, if you haven't had it removed you should maybe research the Chanca Piedra and see peoples results with that besides mine and just inform yourself on it to see if maybe that could an option for a couple months to try. Also, there is this flush this man wrote a book about that some people swear by too! If my attacks wouldn't have stopped, I had planned on trying the flush next. are you still fine? My doctor said that if I keep the diet without ever eating anything it doesn't include, my gallstones should remain asymthomatic. Since I'm male, I don't have hormones that cause new stones to form and the diet prevents it as well, but it's most important goal is to prevent attacks but not stimulating the gallbladder too much. My main question will be: how could you allow yourself to eat bad things, not following the diet, knowing that it can cause acute pancreatitis, which can potentially kill you (even though the risk for young people without heavy comorbidities is low). A single thought about it will not ever let me eat anything bad

Thanks for informing. I had GB infection. Then later I diagnosed GS with 6mm . I been using ursdoxy cholic acid 300 mg twice a day. Dr said need to use up to 2 yrs. it’s been 1.5 yrs. still using. Need to use other 6 months. I had Scan last month. But no difference.
I came to know chance piedra is good herb for liver.
Pl let me know is there any option for better GB activity ( stoped eating fatts)

Hi ! I’m having GB attacks that are painful and they last for days !! I get them every month .. I’m in pain every day for a week then after that it’s like nothing happened it goes away.. I’m guessing my extreme weight loss fasting is what caused I went from 152 to 125 in 3 months I went to hospital cause I couldn’t take pain anymore.. found out I had gallstones .. I need that surgery because I can’t live with this pain anymore!!!

Okay I can't believe you are in pain for a week :O OMG. I could barely handle my 3 hour pain attacks! I'm sorry! I really do think it's due to extreme fasting. Are you getting surgery soon? You should try those Chanca Piedra pills I really think those are what helped me out, the only thing is if you do take those supplements you should try to prevent having attacks for like a couple months while they break up your stones or else I don't know if they will work that well. :(

Buy the book The Amazing Liver Gallbladder Flush by Andreas Moritz.
I've done probably 20 flushes and gotten out well over a thousand stones, they also come out of your liver.
My fiance did her first and got out about 250 stone relieving her intense pain that lasted a week straight. I've watched countless testimonies and can say for a certainty that you are getting out actual stones, I know there's controversy starting that it's just the olive oil hardening or some other bs, it's not its stones. Now that I've cleared all my stones out when I do a flush I get non, so obviously the stones are not being formed from the flush. Long story short buy the book, keep your gallbladder!! God bless 🙏

Hey, thank you for sharing your experience. I have had 3 episodes of GB attacks and was recently diagnosed with Gall stones, i am also reluctant to get my GB removed. I see your video is an year old and wanted to know what’s your health update as it will be helpful for me to deal with this ugly situation. Looking forward for a reply as I honestly don’t know someone who didn’t get GB removed and tried to live with it

Hi☺️ okay as of when I posted this video I haven’t had any attacks since. There was one time in March when I thought I was having an attack and started feeling crampy but then I took a Tramadol pain pill and went to bed and the cramps stopped after a few minutes so I don’t think it was an actual attack. But honestly I’ve been eating kind of bad again in the sense of like I’m eating what I was eating before having issues with my gallbladder and have had no issues really. Hoping it continues this way. I did take supplements that I had researched and read good things about called “chanca piedra” that are supposed to break up your stones. So for a while I was trying to eat healthy and no fatty foods to avoid having attacks and at the same time taking those supplements to break up my stones and it must have worked because I haven’t had attacks for a good while now like a year I think. My plan if the supplements didn’t work was to try the gallbladder flush (don’t know if you’ve heard of it) but thankfully the supplements worked and I have been okay for now. I’m not taking the supplements anymore but have some in case I start having attacks again, and then if I do ever start having attacks again then I will probably try the same thing and eat good for a while while taking those supplements. 💁🏻‍♀️But I haven’t had surgery thank goodness 😃😃and am back to normal right now.

Also, have you had all episodes close together? Be careful because I think if you have so many close together it could irritate gallbladder and I had that happen once and I swear I got attacks at one point like every day for a week anytime I ate anything. Also, after thinking about it and stuff I have read from others I really think what caused my gallstones to get bigger or to give me issues was I was doing this diet fast for a few months like once every two weeks and I’ve read some people where they say after they did fasting of some sort or weird diets that they started having issues with gb attacks. 🙄I regret those diets I did but that was the only thing I remember really changing or modifying in my eating before I started having problems so I think it’s true and the reason I had issues to begin with. So I’m not doing crazy diets or fasts anymore🤦🏻‍♀️ there were a couple of things I was able to eat for sure that wouldn’t cause attacks so sometimes when I would be afraid of eating at all these were my go to meals, but they are super low calorie 🥴 The main one was the Campbells chicken soup with rice. That was like my go to when I would be afraid to eat that wouldn’t cause me attacks, then I tried Special k cereal the cinnamon one with almond milk and I was able to eat that too without attacks. Additionally I was able to eat like 3-4 saltine crackers with my soup or as a snack and it wouldn’t cause me attacks...I only did that many because I didn’t want to experiment with more and end up having an attack. Not sure if that helps 😭sorry you are going through this

@@Lifeofloops Hello, thank you so very much for taking out time to revert and sharing your experience. I am glad to know that you haven’t had those attacks in the past one year. Seems like a very good & positive sign to me. If you don’t mind me asking, what was the largest size of your stone/stones? And also did you get a USG done lately to be 100% sure that they have been dissolved by the supplements?
Well if I share my story, I was very overweight till April last year (96Kgs) and then during lockdown I understood the importance of a healthy lifestyle. So i started doing intermittent fasting from May to October last year and lost 16kgs of weight. (Happiest moment for me) 😁 However, when I started having dinner again in October, i started having that pain in abdomen/chest area (first episode was self resolved) without me realising whats happening. Then in Nov last year, i had pretty bad episode, wherein after having my dinner, i had severe pain and puked 🤮 alot & was rushed to emergency wherein they gave me Treamadol and I was relieved. Then i consulted my physician who advised a CECT abdomen which came out to be absolutely normal so as per him it was due to intermittent fasting thing that my body was not accepting food and he advised me some antacids that i took for couple of months and was absolutely fine. Now on Feb 12 I had a similar episode, wherein I was rushed to emergency again and they said it seems like you have gallstones (which couldn’t be identified in CECT that was done earlier) so they prescribed a USG full abdomen. After getting it done, came out the obvious, that I have multiple gall stones and the max one is sizing 4-5 mm. I have been a vegetarian throughout my 29 years of life, but I think my lifestyle (heavy alcohol intake, smoking habits, late night parties, late night office shifts) might have contributed towards it. Now I am too reluctant to get it removed as I feel life would never be the same again then (i.e my eating lifestyle) & thats what I am more concerned about 😞 . And yeah in my research I found out about GB flush and am thinking to try that. Also in Allopathy they say surgery is your only resort, but some research shows me that people who have undergone Homeopathic treatment have gotten rid of gall stones, so I am planning to opt for that to see if that helps. 🤞 😞

      @Lifeofloops  3 года назад

@@sam15chd You are very welcome! Honestly I will have to find my last hospital records to see what the sizes were per my last tests they did but that was a year ago. I haven't went to get an ultrasound to check that, as long as I don't have attacks I'm going to just see what happens which probably is not very responsible but if I start having attacks again in the future I will worry about it then D: hopefully that doesn't happen. Omg let me know how the flush works out because I am curious to know. I've seen some people document their flush experience on youtube but they are mostly old videos and I would like to know in case I ever have to do that what if it works.

What are your attacks like and how long have you been suffering with those annoying jerks? 😞
You should search up Chanca Piedra and read peoples results with that. Those are the supplements that I was taking when I was suffering my attacks and I think they maybe broke my stones down to where they don't cause issues since I don't have attacks anymore. But maybe do your own research.
