I was recently diagnosed with Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma, I’m 63 and thought it was my gallbladder acting up. Went to my primary care clinic and he sent me for an Ultrasound and it showed a mass in my pancreas. That same day he sent me for a CT Scan and it was negative. I asked for an EUS and a biopsy was done and they were able to find a 4 x 3 cm mass which tested positive for Adenocarcinoma. 3 weeks later I had a Whipple procedure done and a month later I started 6 months of chemotherapy. I finished on October of 2022 and my first PET SCAN was negative. I had my first CT SCAN on February of this year and it was also negative. We still have a long way to go, but nonetheless I couldn’t be happier. Fight on!!!!!

@@antonseneka1372I can tell you mine, it helps. For me:
      Unexplained weight loss, over 130lbs
      Multiple Acute Pancreatitits flare-ups
Became Chronic Pancreatitits and still have Acute flare-ups
      Itching skin. It's torture
CONSTANT pain in stomach and back
      Insomnia
      Clay colored stools
      Other times dark, greasy diarrhea
Irritability and sadness (at least I have it bouts)
      Chills and feverish
      Malaise
There are many more as it progresses and attacks other organs
Good luck to you. It's not an easy illness, I'm exhausted from it every day

Dear Dr. Gonzalez: Thank you! I have several symptoms of pancreatic cancer (itching, weight loss w/o dietary or exercise reasons, BTW no jaundice) , two blood test results (elevated liver and antigen tests) and indications of problems in liver and gallbladder from ultrasound (indications of pores showing something trying to get through them). I'm getting an endoscopy tomorrow and a CT scan within 2 weeks. Tests done and reported along with itching visit drove the further diagnostics (ultrasound and CT & some added blood tests added to regular blood testing-I'm type 2 diabetic for 19 years. The diagnostics are being done quickly. Yours has been the most complete video on symptoms of pancreatic cancer. It's a start.

There's something really wrong with the whole health care system when it's more about letting people get sick enough to become profitable cash cows than caring to educate us long before any number of diseases become a terminal problem.
I saved myself from rectal cancer by doing my own research and arguing with my then primary care MD, who later claimed to not know about cancer.

My mom was very healthy a lifelong vegetarian and clean eater. Exercise was her hobby, she never drank and she has never been overweight. Then she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at 57 after never being sick in her entire life. She was resectable so she had the whipple and did chemo and radiation. My beautiful mom passed in february 1 mo th before her 59th birthday. Pancreatic Cancer is a beast and quite frankly I dont think theres anything you can do to prevent it, there wasnt even any cancer in my family before her. Its just an unlucky draw.

Migraine headaches for fifty years given tranquilizers to relieve pain - nothing for preventing pain.
I researched: "lactose intolerance" was the culprit. Eliminated certain foods for 10 days . . no migraines!

I discovered after being diagnosed with idiopathic Chronic Pancreatitis, that Hydrochlorothiazide, and Amlodipine are both harming to the Pancreas !
These were given as High blood pressure Med's !
My Primary chose to ignore my telling him of changes in my stools !
And instead treated me for other things ?
    Delaying my diagnosis !

Very simply, if at all possible get yourself seen by a Gastrointestinal Doctor, if possible !
I don't want to cause you any undo anxiety, but time is of utmost importance, as I believe the high mortality rate, is with Pancreatic Cancer, many times there simply are few symptoms, until the Cancer has metastasized.
Meaning, spread to other organs !
Early signs may be the Yellowing of the skin, and, or Whites of your Eyes, known as Jaundice !
If you can, have your Blood sugar checked as well !
( There are specific ways this is done properly, to get accurate result's )
As the Pancreas regulates insulin, and secretes enzymes that aid in digestion !
Watch too for dark urine, and stools that appear light in color, and float, with an oily surface in the toilet water !
Too, if the pain you are having in the stomach, and back area's can only be relieved by tucking your knee's to your chest, similar to a fetal position, I was told that it is symbolic of a pancreatic attack !
May give you some clue ?
But I would offer that it is imperative that you seek Medical attention, even starting with your Primary Physician !
I know that some of these symptoms are not easy to discuss, but these are professional's that have likely seen and heard it all, several times over !
Remember, this could simply be a Gallstone, or stones, that have moved into the Pancreas, and may be blocking, or beginning to block the Pancreatic ducts, leading to the intestines !
Again, something that needs addressed as soon as possible, and treatment begun before damage can be done !
I offer these idea's from my own experience, and not from any medical expertise, but believe this to be solid idea's !
Take it for what it's worth !
Hopefully yours will be something unrelated !
Fear of knowing the Truth, I think keeps many from asking the important questions, until thing's have progressed to far !
Early diagnosis is key for any Cancer, but as mentioned, many times symptoms are few until things have progressed !
Not worth waiting, in my opinion !
Hope you find this info helpful, and I wish you well !
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR'S !

Knowing the symptoms is almost pointless. By the time symptoms are present, it’s generally too late. And if it’s not, good luck getting a doctor to check for it before it’s too late. It’s a numbers game. It’s still a relatively rare cancer, so finding it early isn’t cost effective.

We will just keep an eye on it " It's that type of idiocy that causes premature deaths because timing is everything.
