Hey! I found that freezing my bags flat, and then stacking them in like you have them, made a lot more space! And as others have said, be careful about the door. Pinterest for storage ideas- a lot of people use empty soda can boxes!
Oh yes - I think the milk will last the longest in the depth of the freezer and the fridge. I think it’s because of the loss of temperature when you open the door :)

I would suggest that you store the bagged milk in the back of the freezer. With the freezer door opening and closing, it lessens the amount of time you can safely keep it stored. I had to learn that one the hard way :( The babies are so cute!! Their little smiles lit up my afternoon!!
Valerie I was going to recommend this as well! It’s something I never considered, but someone told me after my second was born and I was halfway through breastfeeding for the second time (a little late 😂). As long as their are ice crystals in the milk, still totally safe to use, but it’s a good idea to keep it in the back and it will store safely the longest that way 😊

Yes either store it in the back of the freezer or put it in a deep freezer and you can either put them in a bin or bag just important to use the older dated bags before the newer.

Love seeing you be a mom. It’s just the sweetest to have two little babies, isn’t it? Seeing your stored milk brought back horrific memories of the time I had to toss 250oz because in the middle of the night I didn’t close the freezer all the way. Whoops. Then another time I thought my milk went bad due to it having a weird smell so I assumed I did it again and tossed 275oz that time just to find out I had excess lipase. Luckily, I over produced even though I nursed my twins full time so it wasn’t the end of the world but I did cry a little 😂 Just a tip, store yours at the back of the freezer. Keep it up! You’re doing great!

You are a super mom! You might think about getting 2 shadow boxes and putting what each baby came home from the hospital in and their hospital name bands and the crib name cards in them. I did it with my two kids and I love to look at how small they were!

I Soooooooo look forward to all of your videos. I'm still 18 weeks away from my due date with the twins but these videos make me so excited and I feel a little more prepared of what life will be like! Thanks for sharing and taking the time to make these on top of taking care of two babies!

Ah, tandem feeding newborns when nobody is around to help. It really is an art that you seem to have mastered! I miss those days! My twins will be 9 years old in April. Enjoy this season because the time flies!!! You’re doing an amazing job.
Try freezing the milk with the bag laying flat, then you can stand them up once frozen. Save some space! :)
Try laying the breast milk bags flat in the freezer! Then you can stack them once they’re frozen! Also, I would try to store them deeper into the freezer. As you open and close the door the temperature change will effect the milk in the door.

Just a friendly tip... They recommend you not to store milk in the door of freezer or fridge because you open the door frequently. Try to store in the back or a deep freezer is even better:)

You’re doing a super job and it’s nice to see inside someone else’s living room! Sometimes it can feel a little lonely in my own when I’m home feeding the baby! Please share more!
Also, I love the Little Red Riding hood diaper! We planned to cloth, but after so many feeding challenges with a premie, I only did it one day and decided at that point it was too much for me right now - still trying to do it all - working full time with the baby on my hip and part of two volunteer fire departments -
We also use the Lalabye diapers and I have a full stock!!! Hahaha I need to sell them! But they are so great and cute! My best friend uses Lalabye too and she was so sad when I said I wasn’t going to do it after all!
I decided I would just keep my wet bags collection (which can be used for EVERYTHING in life from swimming and wet diapers to well everything!) so I could still enjoy some of my favorite prints!! But Teddy is also formula fed now, so cleaning them would be a different story!

You really are doing awesome. Can I suggest that when you pump your milk that you pump for a minimum of 10-15 minutes so that your supply doesn’t drop. Due to many issues between bad latching and inverted nipple and more I ended up pumping my breast milk for my daughter for over 18 months. I would still occasionally try to get her to latch which she did but not for long or very effectively. I pumped for 10-15 minutes and did both breasts at the same time. If I felt like my supply was dropping I would add another pumping slot into my schedule. I didn’t have access to all the amazing knowledge and help out there back when I was learning how to breastfeed. It was frustrating because my older sisters had no problems when they were nursing their babies. The one sister had boy/girl twins a year before I was blessed with my miracle rainbow baby girl. They spent over a month in the NICU and the feed and grow nursery before they got to go home. He had terrible reflux and a milk allergy. She pumped while in the hospital and while she was at Ronald McDonald House as she was discharged long before they were and home was 2.5 hours away. The boy Ricky had a lot of feeding issues and they kept changing the formula used to supplement her milk. Once got home her husband wasn’t as supportive as he could have been and since she was struggling to produce enough milk for the babies she switched to all formula and they ended up on different kinds and it turned out they were both allergic to cows milk.
As my breastfeeding journey was ending and I was weaning so we were using the frozen supply ,after my supply dried up , we sadly discovered that my daughter had a milk allergy too. I was a bit panicked because I was concerned about what we would replace it with. Our doctor suggested Rice milk that we could add supplements to , making sure she was getting the nutrients she needed.
A helpful tip with storing your breastmilk. Lay them flat while freezing them, you can store them better. Your an amazing mom. Love watching your blogs

The babies are so blessed to have you as their & mama & their dada too! How do you keep going energy wise? The pumping, just wow! Oh & the cloth diapers. You are amazing & the twins are so sweet & those little smiles melt my heart. I agree with you that when they wake up & stretch it's so precious. I dont know if some one already commented this but when freezing breastmilk. It is nice to freeze the bags flat so they are thinner and then as you collect them put them in gallon size ziplocks numbered. This allows you to store more bags in an area and keep track of all your milk. Then when you go to use it, you pull the oldest bag to use from first. Happy feeding! You're both are doing great.
Looks like you are doing amazing with them!! I just had my second baby a month ago and love watching these updates! Have you tried freezing your milk in the bags flat? Definitely saves room and allows you to make more room in the freezer for more bags!!!

Aww honey, you will hear those babies. I can fall asleep with the lights on, the tv blaring, people walking all around me and talking...but one little cough from my son woke me up every time. It's a mommy thing I guess!

They can’t be identical twins because they are male and female. Identical twins are one egg that splits so same DNA.

You nailed it - reflux! She’s been much better lately and we put her in her crib the other day only to learn the air vent blows right on her 😂 so we’re waiting for our deflectors to come in.
