A person in love makes you feel at peace, looks out for your well-being, wellness and happiness. You the beloved will feel that sense of peace , safety and so at home conversing anything with them because the energy the person is emitting is genuine.

Yeah LOVE is that. But being in love and love are 2 different things.
“In love” is just code for the beginning high of the chemical rush that makes people think they have fallen.
From that perspective, the video is right.
Love is everything that comes after you’re not “in love” anymore because the dopamine and oxytocin that created the “in love” feeling will end.

Out of all the things that could mean someone authentically loves you, I would never think that would be the clearest sign..Yes, we can have "obsessive" or over inflated thoughts about someone we love, but so can someone who is unhealthily infatuated or in lust or limerance.

Well, its reported that the reason successful marriages last so long is because they constantly do nice things for each other day in, day out. In a way that's a form of obsession.

“I love you” is an expression of “I see you”, rather than “I like you”.
The true meaning of “I love you” is not at all loaded with emotions. It rather comes from a space of feeling.
🌾 Emotions come from a space of thinking.
🌾 Feelings come from a space of awareness.
To love someone is, to see and to honour the other. There is no clutch to it, as there are no expectations attached to it. It’s the joy of seeing life unfold within the other!

When someone truly loves you, they fully incorporate you into their life, selflessly, not through obsessive thoughts and behaviors, but through supportive words and actions that foster and enhance a sense of well-being, peace, and contentment, for both of you. They do what they can to encourage you to be your best self, for no other reason than to see you make yourself happy, and to see you succeed for yourself. Real love is intrinsically selfless and comes as naturally as breathing. What that guy in the video is describing is something else.

You provide one another a happiness in a way no one else ever has...Its not something you think of all of the time..Its..It is just being blessed..it is innately being appreciative of the the enrichment of love between two.

He described feelings. Love is a choice. It's faith. I have faith that my spouse will love me through good and bad. I have faith that we will make it through our next fight. I have faith that even if I wake up one day and I feel "bored" with my spouse I will still choose him. I have faith that if my hormones are crazy after giving birth and I don't find myself attracted to him, it'll be temporary and I will choose to find a way to get that spark back. I have faith that our marriage will last. ❤

The way they talk, smile, hold you, the way they smell ( hope they had a shower lol), the way they kiss you, they way they hold your hand whenever you walk with them etc.

Before I loved him as a companion, a friend, a lover, but now I'm IN LOVE it's obsessive and magnetic and desperate and overwhelming. It's a need not a choice. He is the love of my life and that is not the same thing as just loving someone. At all.

I’m in a LD relationship. My fiancé has a particular way of cutting his meals. I always joke about it because it looks so childlike. One day i found myself at a restaurant alone just thinking about him and how much i miss him that i started cutting the sausage on top of my bed of pasta the way he does and i started to giggle. Theres so many definitions of love what is real what isn’t and i often question if my relationship doesn’t have this or that is it really love?….. anyways, maybe this isn’t considered love to some or all but it felt good to me and it made me appreciate my partners silly form of cutting that much more. ❤

In DV counseling on healthy relationships an analogy used is a flower. The flower needs specific sunlight, nurtured soil, watered amd cared for everyday and in an environment that promotes it's growth. Living it's cycle to seed which is replanted in the same nurtured soil 💖🙏 Hence the term.. the grass is never greener on the other side. It's usually burnt to a crisp.

Wow. Just wow. The algorithm recommended this at the perfect time.
It's been 4 months and 25 days since my breakup. It's been the hardest breakup of them all. The process hasn't been linear, but it's there. Some days I don't even remember his name, others the nostalgia hits me hard and some days i just rot in bed bawling my eyes out.
It's comforting watching someone (and reading other people's experiences) experience something similar to me; knowing, even if it feels like it, I'm not the only person going thru this.
In other note, loved the music and the editing

The question was how can you tell if someone is in love with you but what he explained was how you can tell if You are in love with someone. Different things
I think the biggest sign is if they make you feel safe with them in all regards. You can talk to them about anything, share anything without being judged, be understood, you can just be yourself around them. When you don't have ambiguity in your mind about them and you can see a future with them and can't imagine your life without them in it.

I mean it kind of is, but in my experience the times I've ever felt like this this strongly, the other person did as well, and there wasn't an issue. This person would text me constantly and plan things, and I couldn't stop thinking about this person and respond in kind, give this person gifts, etc. There were times the texting was out of hand from this person, but I didn't care.
We thoroughly enjoyed each other's company while the rest of the world sort of was in the background. And we were always happy to see each other after we'd been apart for a few days, or even a day. Especially midweek, after getting off work, etc. I would visit this person, and sort of cocoon inside, away from the world, just enjoying each other in every possible way.
I felt comfortable and at ease when we were together.
Truly I much prefer that than being alone going through the banal average motions of life.

True love is joy, sadness, pain, pleasure, compassion, anger, excitement, exhaustion, dedication and compromise.
