Why are you people surprised Trevor is 2. He’s barely went over .500 the last two seasons. Has underwhelmed as a #1 overall pick and hasn’t made the team better. The only person who benefits surprisingly is Engram. Why are we acting like he’s the guy. Can’t wait for them to pay him $50 + million so we can all watch the excuses mount up when it comes to “Sunshine”

As a Texans fan no doubt C.J. the best QB in the division heading into year two under Demeco and Bobby he going to have a huge year especially since we added Diggs to our WR room and Mixon to boost our running attack.
Trevor Lawrence people had him hyping him up as the next great QB but he hasn’t been that. Don’t get me wrong he still pretty damn good I say he probably in that 7-10 range of top QBs but he not generational.
AR three he has all the tools but he needs to stay healthy if he does the Colts are a threat to us in taking the division.
Levis is the worst but she showed some flashes if he can develop the Titans might have found their guy but he could end up being awful because I expect the Titans to be bad this year

Matt is 100% right about Jags needing to be more physical and I HATED Doug's answer to that question...Sorry Doug but the Jags were SOFT last year..especially in 2 areas : 1) OLine...and 2) "Tackling Avoidance". I honestly don't know what Pederson is doing. He let Press Taylor take over calling the offense. If this was a negotiating tactic to get the Jags to pay him more to take that over again, not only is it failing, this would mean he was willing to watch the team miss the playoffs for $.
Do you want someone willing to do that running your team? So no, this doesn't seem to be what's going on. So... what? Where does that leave us? With Taylor as offensive play-caller again? With Pederson, a 4-score lead wasn't safe for other teams. With Taylor, 1-score leads are.

Those are 2 BIG hiring errors..looks like Ryan Nielsen is a great hire but that needs to be seen although his track record is tremendous. I also do NOT believe that Press Taylor called plays in 2nd half of games in 2022...I think that is some BS thrown out there to justify the bad decision of making him play caller in 2023. Nah. Stroud is clear cut number 1. Reason is because Stroud is consistent and isn't a turnover machine like Lawrence has been. Trevor has a habit at overthrowing his receivers and making terrible decisions. Idk if he can read defenses well, but he's pretty predictable getting picked off like that with ease and leads the league in fumbling the ball as well.
