90% of the fun is working on the car to make it faster. Not everyone has $200,000 to spend on a car so why not buy a car for 15,000 put another 10-15,000 into it to make it a personalized custom car. People need to just quit hatin
@NokturnalCarClub S/C tC @ 9lbs of boost is pushing a little over 240whp/180-200wtq with full bolt-ons to go with it. And that's 240whp at redline. A turbo tC at 9lbs of boost on a say t3/t4 turbo setup, pushes around 280-300whp/300wtq to go with it. I am specifically referencing the setups found on a Scion tC, not turbo vs S/C applications for all cars, which can vary greatly.
@navylife54 That's interesting. Of course the same problem hasn't happened on a turbo tC that I know of, as it's been ran past 15lbs before. Did you have the Ultimate on top of a flashed ECU? Need to revert back to a stock ECU before adding alternative EMS/Piggyback
@mistormaan Well this being a front wheel drive car he most likely put drag slick on the front to get better traction.It's easier to just swap the wheels when you get to the track.
i have a tc with just a CAI and TRD exhaust, not trying to make it something its not. Itsa tough call to say that its worth making this car into someting race worthy. I def recommend it for someone who just wants to take a good overall car and make it their own.
@NokturnalCarClub The S/C for the tC is a Centrifugal setup (makes peak boost at peak RPM's). If you find a S/C tC making 230whp, that's 230whp at redline right before you need to shift gears. Turbo tC's are leaps and bounds faster than S/C tC's dude. I've had a boosted tC for 4 some odd years, I know my own car and what they are capable of. You would have lost the race had this been a turbo tC. Therefore you should have destroyed the S/C tC, but that wasn't the case.
Yeh bro newer 2011 tc's have a 2.5 180hp stock, older scion tc and 2gen xb both have a 2.4 but stock tc is like 160? And stock xb is like 158? Lol im sure i will be stand corrected shortly lol
@NokturnalCarClub 60 Rolls are for people who don't know how to drive. I take it you still need practice if you can barely take a tC with just a S/C on it. Top End power on a Lambo or not, it should still roast a tC off the line, unless that tC is built motor and on a turbo setup not a S/C cause the S/C setup is not as powerful as a turbo tC setup.
hahaha.. that lambo was on 20" Asantis.. Nasty grip is right, car is definitely not made for a 1/8 mile... The owner of the Lambo also has a jerrybuilt high 9 second civic that just ran a 7.0 @ 110mph yesterday at irwindale
@JoeRapstar yeah i get your meaning to i didnt mean to offend anyone about their cars , im not going to lie i drive a shitty 3.9l v6 mustang , but hopefully my next car is a svt cobra 2003-2004 or the new 2012 Camaro zl1 6.2l v8
@thatDUDEoverTHERE010 your also have a $35,000 car 300hp stock almost compare to a $15,000 car that is stock with 162hp. car runs as fast as your maby faster for cheaper.
@NokturnalCarClub I don't know anything about turbo and S/C setup? BHAHAHAA did you look at my RUclips page before making that comment? Apparently not. I didn't say turbo and S/C on a general scale. I was SPECIFICALLY speaking about the turbo setups on a Scion tC and the Supercharger on a Scion tC. The S/C tC is only a fraction as fast as a turbo one.
Hector Madrigal says supercharged tc so im sure there is a turbo big enough n rite set up and scion can take the civic too, search chris rado 1,200HP tc
@JoeRapstar because its a waste of money why make a slow car faster if you can make a fast car faster? and why spend your money buying a slow ass car if your still going to try to make it fast just buy yourself a v8?

ong i got a tc for 3200 and its pretty zippy, i plan to do something to up the speed but its really fun
@Polymer Tools thanks g
Exactly 💯 Percent Correct U Are...Haterz Gonna Hate till Haterz Can't Hate No More lol....
@carcajoo Your comment shows how smart you are. Scion was rated #1 most reliable vehicle in the world. OWNED.
damn how much did u put into the tc to be that fast
its problably the fastest tc iv ever seen

That lambo didn't have a shitty driver that tc just rapes! RESPECT

@hsthompson71 if your talking about the original xB model, it's a 1.5 liter, and the tc is a 2.5.
Zach Rudolph the older tc has the 2.4 L not a 2.5
I miss my car, ever since I got it into a semi truck accident, we’ll I got hit, my car got destroyed and my scion is now gone
@Mao LeBron it’s ok my friend I’m doing good so far
@NokturnalCarClub Yes auto-x and circuit racing is better, I'll be going to willow springs on nov.21st for some time attack.

It is race worthy once u put a decent turbo kit
@NokturnalCarClub Perhaps you shouldn't take it to the drag strip then where you will almost lose to a S/C tC.
I wanna supercharge mine now
@zach3493 older tc's have the 2.4L
@ENsoWAtS i think it was stock.
Yeh bro newer 2011 tc's have a 2.5 180hp stock, older scion tc and 2gen xb both have a 2.4 but stock tc is like 160? And stock xb is like 158? Lol im sure i will be stand corrected shortly lol
TC1s are also about 180 stock with vvti they can eat up civics from stock and you can push that 2az-fe to over 500whp if boosted correctly
@navylife54 How is that working out for you?
what was your time on that run?
@NokturnalCarClub 60 Rolls are for people who don't know how to drive. I take it you still need practice if you can barely take a tC with just a S/C on it. and you go through a transmission where it just seems to blow to pieces
thumbs up for In&out in the distance lol

@thatdudeoverthere010 that's bullshit what year so and what motor
the little 4 banger that could
You should look up these words. PTuning, World Racing, and Horizon Motorsports.
poor lambo had nasty grip..
@Spankydaham924 I think I ended getting a 9.5 not to sure,can't remember
@JoeRapstar

@NokturnalCarClub Right....LOL :)
it just have a supercharger.

@KrAzYsTc a 9.5 with a supercharger?.....i run 9.5's on my si with just an intake
Dustin Jackson in a quarter ... I doubt it . I fast quarter is 13
@TurtleBoyTellEmTv hell yea!!!!!!!!
They are fwd
Who brings a Lambo to an 1/8th mile track? He almost lost to...lol.
Scikotics??.com
@ROLLERPERU the lambo
i thought scion tc is fwd
I could of won but no traction on this run
lambo won by half a car.
lol its lamborghini after all
sorry guys but this civic beat a lambo. search this ( LAMBORGHINI MURCIELAGO VS CIVIC TURBO ) .... dont get mad at me i own a tC too :/
Hector Madrigal says supercharged tc so im sure there is a turbo big enough n rite set up and scion can take the civic too, search chris rado 1,200HP tc
tc almost won
@JoeRapstar
because its a waste of money why make a slow car faster if you can make a fast car faster?

its probably only pushing 200. the lambo just has a shitty driver
Scion got smoked.
