You are never prepared for a federal criminal investigation. No one thinks that will ever happen. It changes your life forever more and how you change is entirely your decision but you are never the same. My dad was found innocent but it still impacts me and the rest off my family. It was many years ago. I am much more interested in not being judgmental and being open to the possibility of someone being innocent. I’m interested in being kind.
So true So true. Also, your life will change. One of friend's neighbor wife faced a federal investigation and charges. It took 20 months before it was finalized. The stress alone nearly killed her. She had a mild heart attack at 38 years old. When all was said and done she looked like she aged by 20+ years. The FBI investigates like the USAF OSI office, they do not leave any stone unturned ,and look at all areas related to the complaint, even the witness will be scrutinized, during their investigations
