Janet Jackson - When I Think of You - September 1985 Recording

In the second half of August 1985, Janet Jackson flew to Minneapolis, MN and began recording for her 3rd studio album. A large chunk of the recording of the Control record took place in September 1985 at Flyte Tyme Studios in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a 6-week period which started with Control in August 1985.
Bear in mind that stupid video maker's MP4 conversion and that of also RUclips, messed up the audio quality significantly, so it sounds distorted. My own audio file is much better, without distortion. There's not much I can do about it.

One of my FAVORITE Janet joints. I remember when this song came out and an Uncle of mine (a musician) said it was amazing how this song was made out of 2 or 3 chords.

the vocals from terry lewis are more prominent here. sounds like a duet on the chorus.
