Nice review. I purchased the Corsair H100i a month ago and I fully agree on what you point out with regards to cabling. Corsair need to do something about that. Its an absolute nightmare to cable manage a corsair system. But I think when it comes down to aestetics a Corsair build do look nice and the cooling is great even the fans do make a good amount of noise when setting the system to "performance" in iCue. I have seen others do the testing with 3'rd party fans wich, yes can be used to compare 2 different Aio's actual performance given the same air flow conditions, but imo totally beats the purpose of buying an all out RGB Aio. If you are going to exchange the fans for the H100 wich are already quite good ML fans you might as well go full custom. But these Aio's is primarily for those of us who don't want to bother with bending pibes and don't have the money to buy a top graphics card where you can get a waterblock that fits. And for a budget build with some rgb bling bling both of these coolers will do just fine
Great Review! I have a H100i Platinum on my 2700X. I just got the new Coolermaster TD500 Mesh in white, was thinking of getting a H100i Platinum Se to match, and moving the old one to my 2600 rig. Well it's hard to find the SE version anywhere in stock with a few sites having preorder available for over $170 US. At half the price I will be buying the Zoomflow and saving the difference for a CPU upgrade. You just earned another SUB. Thanks and keep up the good work!!
Due to your review I picked up the ID cooling AIO for £90 on Amazon UK which was £40 cheaper than the Corsair H100i at the time. So far over the moon My R5 2600 is clocked at 4Ghz @ 1.325v idle temp is around 29c while gaming I'm getting 44c which I thought was low so I used 4 different software tools to check and all show a similar temp in the low 40's using my own thermal paste not the included stuff. A really surprising temp but I do have a max airflow case and good case fans. Running it in a push only config and at about 50% fan and pump speed.

Just found your channel. Glad I did, really good review, lots of info and data that really helped me decide. I'm gonna go with the id-cooling in a white lian li 011 dynamic. I know it's been done to death, but it's just so clean to have a white case and black accessories.
Tengo un ID-Cooling desde hace un año con un Ryzen 5 2600x, con 4 ventiladores (push and pull) y jamás supera los 50*C a pesar del OC del procesador. Muy buena revisión de los productos.
great video. i used the 360mm auraflow ($95 amazon) and was able to get another 16gb of crucial ballistix and another TB of WD Black (when it was on sale) with the money i saved.
One thing I wish you went over is Warrenty, Zoomflow has a 2 year, but will they replace anything in lets say in a rare event that it leaks? I couldn't tell you. Corsair's 5 year warranty and vary quick response to one of their coolers leaking and replacing everything that was damaged is enough of a selling point for me personally even with the 70$ markup and just better software. Corsair crossed shipped a cooler for me that was failing as my machine was used for work, I only had 1 and half day of down time on that machine and they paid the shipping without me even asking.
It would be much better if you included even one air cooling temperature values among the liquid cooling tests. For example, ID-COOLING SE-234. What would be the difference between these two cooling devices, both the fan noise and the heat values it gives in return for that sound? enjoy your work
Even the price back then , 2 yrs ago , i would still go for id cooling , but now , it only cost 50$ here in my country , while the Corsair H100i Platinum still cost 200$ , so yea , i would absolutely go for id cooling , i would spend the extra 150$ probably extra budget for my gpu , or nvme or etc , you can do alot of stuff with 150$ extra budget
I do use id 240 cooler about 5 years ago and no problem at all. When I bought mine the rgb options was not available, that’s the only one thing what I wish for my cooler.
Here from the Amazon reviews, great analysis. Especially appreciated the radiator performance using the noctua fans. I'm currently trying to fill out a Pc O11 Dynamic with a 360 AIO and 9 total white frame, argb fans that I can set fan curves for. ID Cooling is one of the few companies I can find the fans they use on AIO sold separately (XF-12025-RGB-TRIO_SNOW). Would I be able to hook up all 9 into the case with just 2 argb headers and have aura/pwm control?
I purchased the id cooling auraflow 240 and loved it paired with an overclocked 3700x at 4.4ghz so much I’m going with the zoomflow 240x for my current build with an overclocked 3600 at 4.5ghz.
I got the the 360 zoomflow for 97 USD during primeday I use it to cool a Ryzen 3700x Fractar Design Meshify S2 My rooms ambient temperature fluctuates between 25 - and 30 celsius This thing is amazing. AIDA64 FPU stress test after 8 hours averages at 55 celsius I will add 3 noctua fans for a push/pull configuration and see if it gets even better
For me the most important thing for AIO besides the look is the control. As far as I know, only Corsair and NZXT who offer control using coolant temps instead of CPU temps. CPU temperature is so erratic which cause making a stable fan curve very difficult, whereas coolant temperature is more stable and more directly relevant as the radiator & fans are cooling the coolant not CPU. If budget is not a concern definitely get Corsair or NZXT and between these 2 depending if you want to use iCue or Cam.
i agree.. this one deserves more attention. good job 👍👍👍 for the both aios performance, just marginal.. the dim or simple lights (imo) is better but still enjoying the argb. id cooling for me thanks to your review😁👍
Hey TechLens Great video - Very nice to get some good insight in, where to save some money. Do you have any knowledge on, if the Zoomflow may fit on a nzxt kraken g12?. I'm considering buying 2 of the ZF - 1 for cpu and 1 for Gpu+mount. You do mention, that the ZF comes with standard edition mounting-options. What do you think? Great vid, thx
I'm not generalizing AIO's but I've had two ID-cooling AIO pumps fail on me (both 120mm and 240mm variants) so if ever anyone is dead set on buying an AIO, I'd recommend steering away from ID-cooling. Specifically their Frostflow 120L-R and 240L-R.
Had the Zoomflow 360X and it honestly felt a bit low quality. The fans felt very cheap, sticker on the side of the rad started peeling, and the sleeving of the tubes were slightly frayed. Steve also mentioned those in his review of the Pinkflow which is a pink version of the Zoomflow. I replaced my Zoomflow with a Deepcool L360 v2 which feels much more high quality. Corsair much more expensive but you also have to consider the warranty and aftersales. 5 years vs 2 years warranty. Corsair also comes with ML120 fans. They also reimburse you for any damage their AIO does in case of a leak, not sure if ID Cooling does that.
im not much of a rgb freak, and that the performance of both coolers are slightly identical, in asia pricing Corsair H100i Platinum is twice the price of the ID cooling zoomflow, and im only using a ryzen 7 2700x not even overclocking it, so thank you very much for the video zoomflow definitely is my pick.
so then utilizing a 360mm 240x for 89$...via newegg in my USDM. And 3 P12 arctic fans for example LOW DB high CFM. Fans it can perform quite well. Since the arctic freezer 360mm and fractal 360mm is always sold out
Great review...thumbs up and have subbed. I bought the H100i Platinum in March 2019 and about 3 weeks later there was a recall of them due to a leak problem. Mine wasn't leaking but it was in the faulty batch number so I RMA'd it. I didn't have great experience with Corsair with long delays waiting for answers....all was good in the end though and I ended up with 2 brand new units courtesy of Corsair.... full story is on my youtube channel. Anyway it's been great for the last 16 months and is used every day. However I recently replaced the stock fans. The reason being that my PC sits next to me on the desk with the rad at eye level and the LL120 fans have no side window view so I cant see any of the RGB effect. THE LL120's look fantastic from the front (I have 3 vertical in my Lian Li case) but they are wasted RGB wise on the rad ......So I have just fitted some Alpenfohn Wng Boost ones from Overclockers UK ...they are great...nicley made...they do 2 ...a standard and a high speed and the high speed has a higher static pressure and airflow than the LL120's and the same 2,200 ish max rpm (again there are 2 different spec LL120's ..the one's on the H100i are the higher speed ones...other LL120's are 1500rpm). Although not as impressive from the front the Alpenfohn ones are quieter at full revs than the LL120's and look great from the side which is what I wanted... and a much better price ....I now have 2 spare LL120's that I will be using in an upcoming build where you can see them from the front in all their glory. Again thanks for the review....came across your channel on a recommendation of it from Carey Holzman's
This video is great timing for me, however I have already gone through this switch. I had this exact corsair AIO and it died on me in the middle of a work day. I smelled an "electrical fire" kinda smell, and saw that it died. I had to shut down and put on my stock cooler that came with my 3800x. Fast forward to yesterday when my ID Cooling Zoomflow snow edition came, the same in this video, and I installed it. This Id zoomflow actually is cooling better than the expensive Corsair. My idle temps with the ID Zoomflow is 4 degrees lower than the Corsair.
Hi mate! Can you report your experience so far with the Zoomflow 360x? How does it perform compared to your good old CLC? I have mine on the way to cool my R7 3800x, as my old Cooler Master ML240L leaked, fortunately not damaging other parts.
@@edimihai2944 Sure thing. Build quality feels pretty good. Cooling performance is not *as* impressive as I was expecting, upgrading from an old 240 to a new 360 - I expected at least a 10 degree max temperature drop, but only dropped about 7 degrees. To be fair, my 9900k is *locked* at 5GHz on 1.34v, and keeping that cool under load is no small task. Being at 85c under load instead of 92 is acceptable to me, but for a 360mm rad, I expected more. Ambient temp is 24c. Idle temps (locked at 5GHz, 1.34v) sit right at 40c. Under load I top out at 85c. Temps will immediately jump to 85c during stress testing, but will not exceed that number. Performance is decent - I hope it lasts me a few years. Lastly, the RGB connectors for the fans and pump are 3-pin, not 4-pin, so they cannot connect to my Asus Z390-A Prime motherboard. I had to use an included sata power converter to power the LEDs, and use the hard-wired controller to adjust LED colors. There might be a converter for 4-pin to 3-pin RGB headers, but it isn't that important to me.
@@trexdel wow, did not expect such a beefy and on point, let aside - fast- answer! Thanks a lot, really did put a limit to my expectations so I would not be dissapointed at the time of the first test.
@@edimihai2944 Just a little update on my Zoomflow 360. The pump has been slowly dying on me the past two months, and it is already time for me to replace the AIO. First impressions were nice, but for it to die so soon on me - feels bad man. Maybe I had a bad unit. Anyways, I'll be replacing it with an Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360. That's tantamount to the best on the market, and I'd rather invest in quality than cheap out again.
@@trexdel maaan that sucks. I'm really sorry to hear that, but terrified on the other hand as I got my hands on one of these units. Hope I won't have the same issues... I don't want the dying pump curse to snowball on me because I got pretty lucky with my ol' Cooler Master ML240L not leaking all over the place but internally. Pretty scared atm with the funny yet unconfortable hum of my current unit... although imma be optimistic and put it on behalf of air bubbles as I tilted it a lot when I switched my chassis. Anyways, wish you the best of luck with your new Freezer II 360, but I'm pretty sure it will do wonders compared to these cheap alternatives. Much respect for this follow-up to your experience. Thank you lots.
Should i buy id cooling se234 argb or id cooling zoomflow 240x. You tried both of them in different setup. Maybe you can make a video which compares liquid cooling and air cooling or just replied to me which is better. Thank you!

Really good quality video. This is the exact answer I needed. I will gamble with the ID cooling.
yeah..spot on review..tells you all you need to know,in the least amount of time..Whats not to like?
I went for the golden field twin fan cooler, which is very similar to the zoomflow.Would never of considered a `budget` item,if it wasnt for this video...nice one.
Great review. With a ton of tech reviewers on RUclips I wonder why I rarely see these comparisons.
Sigue funcionando bien?
Yo ire mas adelante por el.

Wow, info packed video in under 17 minutes. Great analysis too.
Great vid. I bought the Zoomflow the other day and now I don't have FOMO re: buying a more expensive cooler.
Always buy the value for money products hands down. Nice comparison.👍
Thank you so much for this video, iv been looking for info on the I'd cooling stuff. I subscribed to your channel
great video. i used the 360mm auraflow ($95 amazon) and was able to get another 16gb of crucial ballistix and another TB of WD Black (when it was on sale) with the money i saved.
ID Cooling wins aesthetically! That's if you are going for a white PC build, It's so underrated!
Thanks a lot for the video bro! I didn't know which one to choose for budget.
Great video man. A lot of attention to detail and it's well explained. Earned a sub.
ID cooling also have their FROSTFLOW X 240 aio which is the same performance but with only a white led for $50. Also its the same size (240mm)
Such a well put together and informative video. Subbed for sure!
Good review and comparison analysis bet. 2 aios.
Since I am in budget constraint, and was forced to sell 2 arcanas (huhu), I did taking ID-COOLING
HAHAH i just realize we have the same desktop background hahah
nice video! u deserve WAAAAAAAY much more love!
May I know where you get the desktop background ?
@@chongchuanfei wallpaper engine on steam
@@maken15oh may I know the name of it ?
@@chongchuanfei tbh i dont know the name of the wallpaper, i Just search it as "cyberpunk" and it appeared alongside a bunch of others CP walls.
@@maken15 oh okay thank you so much for the reply!
Just a few days ago, I found the H100I platinum for $100 flat. Cant wait to install that beast
Thank you ! Going with id zoomflow 😁😁
I love the look of the Corsair CPU block.
It would be much better if you included even one air cooling temperature values among the liquid cooling tests. For example, ID-COOLING SE-234. What would be the difference between these two cooling devices, both the fan noise and the heat values it gives in return for that sound? enjoy your work
Keep continuing the comparisons like this really helps look for bang for the buck parts
Excellent review n comparison. Seriously. Subbed!
Thanks man! glad you enjoyed it and great to have you join us!
ID cooler the price to performance big W my opinion
I do use id 240 cooler about 5 years ago and no problem at all. When I bought mine the rgb options was not available, that’s the only one thing what I wish for my cooler.
Very good video, glad I found it. Keep up the good work man.
The zoomflow only has 2 year warranty though…
I purchased the id cooling auraflow 240 and loved it paired with an overclocked 3700x at 4.4ghz so much I’m going with the zoomflow 240x for my current build with an overclocked 3600 at 4.5ghz.
I got an ID cooling frostflow but used Corsair LL-120 fans on it. It's pretty good :)
I got the the 360 zoomflow for 97 USD during primeday
I use it to cool a Ryzen 3700x
Fractar Design Meshify S2
My rooms ambient temperature fluctuates between 25 - and 30 celsius
This thing is amazing.
AIDA64 FPU stress test after 8 hours averages at 55 celsius
I will add 3 noctua fans for a push/pull configuration and see if it gets even better
Hey TechLens
Great video - Very nice to get some good insight in, where to save some money.
Glad I stumble upon this review. Now my head is clear imma get that zoomflow instead!
Great comparison. Thank you!
Also... SUBSCRIBED!
I have a Frostflow 240L that's around 6 years old and it working pretty much the same as when I bought it more than half a decade ago.
@@Vendemiair Good for you, I guess there are batches of the Frostflow series that are susceptible to pump failures.
Even though the corsair came in on top you really should have mounted your radiator differently, the tubes on top is a no go.
Excellent video man. this pretty much covered everything i wanted to know and then some. Easy sub from me.
My stress temps are much better as well. Now, it could be that the Corsair wasn't working correctly all along.
best explaination so far, subbed! Good job
Very well done video , informative and in depth
super underrated channel. My AIO is on its way!
As a new builder, I wish the ID cooler had better instructions out of the box. Had to find tutorials on YT
Much appreciate the vid mate. Just ordered the Zoomflow 360 to keep my 9900k tame. My EVGA CLC 240 is showing its age, time to replace!
Thank you!
he covered every single detail that everyone wants but have only 5k sub...
Now that's how review tech stuff! Love it!
