Skubal, Jobe, Mize is a really cool, young starting 3. I just wish we had the money to go get a .280+ AVG hitter, thats really all we need is a consistent hitter to bolster this lineup. I hope we dont get rid of anyone important like we always seem to do in the offseason.
I was furious that the Tigers by-passed Wacha last year and signed Maeda. The pitching staff will be: Skubal, Olson, Wacha (or whoever they sign), Jobe and Mize. In that order. Olson never gets the credit he deserves. His stuff is solid.
The only thing I feel like you’re missing here is a first baseman. I just don’t think Tork is a long-term solution for us and we need a veteran first baseman. Wouldn’t be surprised if we spring for Alonso in the offseason, despite his price tag
Other than releasing Baez this seems like a pretty conservative offseason. I don’t think Torkelson and Dingler are clear answers at 1B and backup C. Jace Jung hasn’t been good enough in my opinion to lock down 3B either. At the same time, if this is what happens I’m going to be very happy. Edit: Throw in Christian Walker and this is perfect.
sold take. i dont trust jace jung quite yet but hope his bat will show. trey sweeney/baez combo prob aint the greatest but if paired with solid pitching its just enough. Torkelson is the wild card. not sure what you gonna get.
Trade Baez, Torkleson, and some prospect to the Twins for Correa. The right deal could also bring over starter Pablo Lopez, possibly sending over Sweeney. Then, sign Bregman to play third. I wonder if Carpenter could play first until Briceno is ready?
I get it: when a a team has been awful for as long as the Tiger have, you get fantasies about any prospect who's doing well in the minors. But PLEASE - Jackson Jobe and Jace Jung have done NOTHING to show they're ready for the majors. Tearing up double A is NOT being ready for MLB. I could list a f*ck-ton of players who tore up Double A, starting with Casey Mize and Matt Manning. Jung hit .257 in Toledo and made 17 errors at 3B. He hit .241 in the majors, and the hardly played in the playoffs. They both have great potential; but for God's sake let's stop talking about them as though they are ready to be big contributors in 2025.
No. Perez is fine with the role he's in. 4th/5th OF. Vierling should be super utility. Need to get a power right handed RF or 3B. Use Jung in a trade package while his value is still high and get a legit #2 behind Skubal
Thank you so much for watching. Whether it's your first video on the channel or the last. I appreciate your time and hope you have a great day!

Sweeney was fine at short and will only get better, first time in the bigs,

I'd love for the Tigers to sign Kim, if only for the prospect of more Tigers games getting broadcast live here in Korea!
What kind of games get streamed there. Mostly west coast?

hate to break it to you but there is no chance in hell we're signing pete alonso.

Tigers would never sign Kim, cuz they don't want to "block" Sweeney

Ain’t no one taken Baez in a trade and you sure ain’t getting back a Carlos Correa type player Cmon wake up this isn’t fantasy land
Your not getting Correa out of prospects keep it won’t happen

Tork really doesn’t have a future on this team and Perez should be the third OF not verling
