I thought my daughter was autistic so i had her tested. They said she has DMDD. She has the wildest mood swings and can be so mean. Shes 6 and i cant even imagine how things will be when shes a teen. She starts therapy soon and i hope that helps.

I've lived with a step son with DMDD for 9 years and none of these strategies have worked at all, nor has medication and counseling. It has nearly destroyed our family.

Not necessarily but it may look similar. ODD may not necessarily present as angry. Sometime ODD kids can be as cool as a cucumber.
