Hi 👋 For this machine you'll need to buy the VertuoLine pods direct from Nespresso or in the US I think they also sell Starbucks Vertuo capsules too. Hope this helps.
I do the same and all I got was alittle bit. Maybe same amount or less than the word nespresso on that cup. I try it twice and got same results. Any suggestions why I'm not getting enough or atleast half of the cup?
I figured out the problem! If your mug is the wrong size for the setting - it will not brew. I had the cup holder in the middle position and had a full size mug, and it wouldn’t brew because it was supposed to be a smaller cup. I guess it can feel the weight so you’re not putting an espresso cup in the mug setting, because it would overflow.
Hi 👋 No the shelf doesn’t determine the size of the coffee. The machine reads the barcode on the capsule to determine how much to pour. An espresso capsule will pour a 40ml coffee, double espresso capsule 80ml and so on. Hope this helps 🙂
I've never had espresso before, just coffee. How authentic of an espresso taste do you get from a pod machine? Are the cost of the pods generally more expensive compared to a typical K-cup?
I lock it shut again (there should be a lock symbol on the top of the machine) but it's good practise to eject the capsule beforehand using the same method as inserting the capsule. I sometimes forget the last bit though 🤦♂️ 😅
Has there been any issues with the Virtuo Next? Been reading allot online of people having issues with it. In my country we don't have the Virtuo plus. So I'm considering original Nespresso machine. Based on your review. The citiz and aerochino 4
click it 3 times quickly and the light will turn orange and the water will begin to flush, make sure the water jug is full and a large cup is underneath for the flushing process
Hi, I just got a vertuo next. Nespresso is doing a sale in store where you can get the next for £50 with £20 store credit, or the plus for £70 with £20 credit. However, I have been watching and reading reviews and most of them dont seem positive, with mechanical issue and having to get replacements over and over again. I wanted to ask how long youve had your next for, and if you think it is worth it, or would you recommend I pay the extra 20 and get the plus instead. Thank you
Hi there and thanks for sharing. I have 2 questions if you don't mind. I just got my Nespresso Vertuo Next and I need to know the following. First, in my 2 coffees I can see in the bottom of the mug / cup coffee grains. I asked Nespresso Customer Support and they told that this is normal because it's the first use and after 10-11 coffee makers, this should be gone. So is this happened for you as well? And the second question is in the case you are putting the capsule, after the coffee is made there is some water there. Is it fine if we leave the water as it is there and it will be cleaned when we use the cleaning process? Or do we have somehow to get rid of it? Is there anything should I worry? Thanks in advance.
Hi there 👋 On your first question it’s not something I really noticed but others have mentioned it in the comments as an issue. With the water left over after using a capsule question, that is something I noticed and a few subscribers said they use some kitchen roll to wipe that away just to stop any bacteria forming. Hope this helps.

Spend 20mins and can't figured it out I let the water heat, I put the coffee cup, I lock the machine, I press the middle button and then nothing it just blinks a yellow light. What does the yellow light means? It blinks twice then the white light blinks once. Weird.
Thanks! The crema didn't seem to be any different when I made this coffee but I haven't tried to connect it to the app via bluetooth yet - to check for a firmware update - so will let you know if that changes anything.

I've read some reviews claiming to buy the citiz and milk frother SEPARATELY, as opposed to them together, because they work better. Is this something you've noticed in your experience? Or does the Citiz and milk frother still work just as good whether they are together or separate? Sorry if this is confusing 😆 I remember you saying you had a citiz for a long time and I noticed you had the bundled one where they are together. But lately I notice you use the Citiz by itself (without the milk frother attached)
Hi there 👋 I don’t think I noticed a difference between the Citiz & Milk and the separate Aeroccino 3 in performance but being honest I WOULD buy them separately myself if there wasn’t much difference in price as it just means you can upgrade or replace (if it breaks) either the machine or the frother at any time if you need to rather than replacing both. It also gives you the option to buy the Aeroccino4 instead for £10 more which I’ve always felt is worth the extra money as it’s dishwasher safe and you don’t have to remove the spring if you want a latte instead of a cappuccino so makes life easier. Hope this helps.

Hi 👋 If by normal Nespresso you mean the OriginalLine pods then yes these are different. The Vertuo capsules are currently exclusive to Nespresso though they do manufacture some under the Starbucks brand in the US as I understand it. Hope this helps.
Buying the original machines like the pixie and citiz are almost impossible, they are sold out on most websites. They seem to be pushing the vertuo machines more, I’ve heard many bad reports about them leaking etc. Do you know if the original machines are being discontinued (cheaper versions) ?
Yeah I definitely agree Nespresso seem to be pushing the Vertuo machines more but not sure what the future holds for the Original. They did revamp the espresso and lungo ranges for the OriginalLine within the last couple of years so you would hope that means they are still going to cater for that. I personally prefer the OriginalLine coffee so I hope so 😅

2:40; here you can see the reduction on machine speed, which made a huge difference when you compare it with vertuo plus machine which having smooth speed without any reduction on it! I couldn't drink my coffee with my vertuo next. I was having it for only two days then I sell it and stayed with vertuo plus which always make me happy and satisfied in crema and coffee taste profile😔
Thanks for adding the time stamp. Yeah we have the Vertuo Plus too and I prefer it to the Next. Will be interesting to see if connecting the Vertuo Next to Bluetooth changes anything (with an update to the firmware) or if they release a new version of the machine in future improves it.

@@leannewilson3171 I picked up the vertuo next deluxe for £50 and the taste from the various pods has been lovely. Would even say it’s nicer than the coffee I get from greggs and costa. Maybe it’s improved since these guys were using it. I don’t have a plus machine to compare, I chose the next deluxe because it makes larger cups than the plus. Which is ironic considering the name.
Why did they change they original one I believe there are design flaws with original I have had a few problems even with original brand pods, this is ultimately the same device
Hi, yeah probably somewhere between copper and gold. It's on the Nespresso UK website as a Matt Black but there a silver and a gold logo version. It says GDV1 - GB on the box in case that helps you locate the colour 🤔 May be worth giving Nespresso a call.
You can but you’ll need to buy a separate milk frother like an aeroccino 3 or something like that 👍🏼 We have a video on the channel showing how to make a cappuccino and also reviews of different milk frothers in case they help.

Worse machine I have ever owned. If you like the noise of an airplane turbo engine then you like this machine. Mine broke down after less than a dozen uses. Since it was a gift and the "gifter" did not keep the receipt, we are out of luck.
Your machine will block up and leak after a year or two as the design is wrong...thr metal water spike is above ,it pierces down then where does the coffee come out...i assume the top too...that will clogg with grinds...the original had pierce on on side of pod and pierce a hole througj the tin foil tophat...hence no clogging...the design is flawed. Dolce Gusto, Noespresso Original, K fee etc dont clogg .

Mine doesn’t click all the way open, the two silver springs get stuck on the pod holder on the way up, is that a fault?

It depends on which capsule you use. Each capsule has its own barcode and the barcodes dictates how much coffee is poured. Hope this helps 😀
